Our apartment got flooded forcing us to relocate for awhile and I was worried about room rates, Lakeshore prices were very reasonable! Not only was the front desk staff (regardless of the pandemic causing short staff everywhere) very accommodating but the rooms were great! I hope everyone keeps in mind that everyone is short staff so let’s be kind to those who showed up. Housekeeping was understandably short and we had no problem cleaning our own room.Thank you Lakeshore staff!! You were a breath of fresh air in a time of disaster for my family and I! I will never forget that!

Employees dont have a dress code or uniform.... was kinda weird when Noone was around a younger female with purple hair came walking up in a tank top asking us if we needed help...😳. Great location across from the lake and a very short walk to restaurants and shopping.Like almost all businesses in AZ, I just wish employees would wear masks at all times indoors. The 6 rule does not apply inside. Im not a big mask wearer; I dont even wear one outside at all, but inside its important. Its America. I dont have to wear a mask at all. is not an appropriate response.

Nice hotel. They were in the middle of doing upgrades to the rooms during our stay. We never heard any of the work being performed and our stay was 5 days long. Stephen the GM of the hotel was very helpful at check-in. He gave us multiple ideas for great places to eat that are walking distance from the hotel. He also chatted with us each time he saw us like we were old friends playing catch up.. The fountain park that is across the street has a very nice paved trail to have a nice easy walk. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were very comfy. Our only negatives which brings this to a 4 star rating is the shower has no shelves for soaps and shampoos so you have to reach to the floor. Nor is there towel racks for your hand or bath towels.. The other is the furniture ie desk armoire hutch etc etc seemed to be very inexpensive not commercial grade quality. Overall rooms looked very sharp and clean housekeeping does a wonderful job cleaning rooms. The pool here is heated and the hot tub is good sized.

I have drove through Fountain Hills many times, but never stayed the night. I decided to stay a few days at Lakeshore Hotel & suites. I chose this hotel because it was right across the street from the world famous Fountain Hills Lake Fountain. I heard from friends and read some negative reviews of this hotel, but I didnt discourage me. I always like to find out for myself. The staff was very welcoming the moment I walked in. This is a place I would ALWAYS recommend to anyone. I have to say I have dealt with allot of private owners of hotels actually worked for a few in the past and never have I ever met an owner as cool, kind, laid back, accommodating, and genuine as you were. My husband and I are typically loners stay to ourselves and usually only do take out but after seeing the owner, staff and friendliness of everyone here we went and enjoyed drinks food and music at the restaurant and we had so much fun. Centerstone Plaza Hotel is a great hotel with every amenity that you can possibly imagine including the restaurant. Also, hotel guests receive 20% off the restaurant meals. Their best feature, however, is their staff. Awesome people. While staying at the Centerstone Plaza, we met a lot of great guests who stay there long term; some are in the same shoes as us (undergoing treatment at the Mayo). We booked our room fairly last minute from a third party discount hotel search company. We needed something inexpensive for the weekend and found this hotel at a steal at $40/night. We were weary at finding what appeared to be a nice hotel on the surface for such an excellent price especially for weekend rates. Since the booking company said there was only 1 room left at that awesome rate, we expected it to be the most old, run-down bottom of the barrel room they had to offer (but thats not what we got, or if it was their worst room then Im impressed). We checked out reviews and saw a lot of 1 stars but clearly many of them are bogus or are from crazies with an axe to grind. Many folks only leave feedback when they have something to complain about so we took that into consideration as well. Im glad we took a gamble because the hotel was excellent. The hotel itself and the room were clean. All appliances and bathroom fixtures were serviceable. The carpet was BRAND NEW and I mean exactly that, because you could still smell that new carpet smell. It was clean and fluffy. It even looked like the room was recently painted. Adequate lighting. The beds and pillows were comfortable. All the amenities you could want are available and included in your rate. The neighborhood feels upscale, safe, and is absolutely beautiful with the desert landscape. We wanted something quiet and a little out of the way and that is exactly what we got. The cleaning and front desk staff were all very friendly. My wifes only complaint was the towels are a little on the small side, but that kind of thing doesnt bother me and is really just nit-picking. Weve stayed at hotels 3 times as expensive that were just trash. Well definitely visit again.

After seeing I was a bit fatigued, Gary immediately offered to upgrade us to a renovated room overlooking the fountain. Then upon hearing it was our anniversary, he upgraded us again to an even more beautiful jacuzzi room overlooking the fountain. The room was absolutely lovely and tastefully decorated with the feel of a high-end bed & breakfast, rather than that of a hotel room. The room possessed all the amenities as well. The only thing they did not have was any type of food at the hotel itself. However, Lena and Gary were gracious enough to give us coupons for the adjacent eating establishment Fireside Grill. While the fountain did not come on that evening, we were thrilled to see it the next day prior to check out. Over a great hotel experience and we will definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and the location is awesome. We were in town to see family and there are only a couple hotels is fountain hills and the other ones are much more expensive, but rightly so. This hotel did have signs up that they were undergoing a renovation. I hope that means they will be replacing carpet, furniture, and wall paper in every room. The bed spreads were mismatched (two queen room) and we had just four flat lumpy pillows for two beds. Towels were scratchy. The wallpaper was taped up in places where it was starting to peel off. Furniture was banged up. The shower head was leaking pretty badly. The carpet was stained and worn. The hallway had an odd smell and the elevator was badly worn. The AC had a sign on it that it shouldnt be set below 70 degrees which is quite high in my opinion. All in all, it wasn’t so bad we wouldn’t stay again for the price and location given that there are limited options, but don’t have high expectations.

I originally booked with some booking site but after there were problems with my reservation, the front desk had no issue making sure we were taken care of. There was a mini fridge in the room where we were able to fit in our dogs food which was helpful. It made a faint buzzing sound but it worked just fine. Thank you to your awesome staff. Jeanette has been particularly helpful during our stay at your hotel . My husband and I have been travelling here from Texas for our Mayo appointments. It is because of the warmth and helpfulness of your staff that we continue to return here time after time. Thank you for the beautiful room and the amazing restaurant. We felt like we were at the Ritz Carlton. Tablecloths and personal service from Matt. Very nice. See you again in a couple of months.

The manager graciously helped my family and I in our dire situation. We were given one of the newer rooms which I appreciated. It was clean and fit our needs. The pool and the inside area was clean. There was some old equipment from the kitchen in view but not a big deal. I also saw some beer cans on the outside of the pool area. Adults dont know how to throw their trash away so can someone clean up after them? I would like to suggest placing matching chairs in the room, replace the ironing board covers, and have fluffier pillows. Also, please find a way so guests can access the cable channels without having management come to the room. All in all I can say that travelers can book a room here and be comfortable. If there is a problem the team finds a way to take care of it to the best of their ability.

I called the main number to ask about booking a room and rates. The employee told me a rate and when I asked which type of room it was, the employee put me on hold. When he came back on the phone, he asked if I had access to the website to book as he was busy. I said I was currently on the website, but it does not give the option to view different rates. He said he was too busy so if I wanted further information, I would need to call back later. I said, Well, that is just terrible customer service. He said, Well, I am busy checking in guests. And HUNG UP on me. I am highly disappointed with the lack of professionalism on your employees part.

Kudos to the staff of the Centerstone Plaza Hotel who treated my wife, my son and our service dog Bennett like family. They even had dog biscuits at the front desk for my German Shepherd. Awesome staff, great restaurant, terrific rooms and we even got an upgrade at no extra charge. We will be back soon. There is no hotel in the entire Scottsdale area that gives you the value of the Centerstone Plaza.

Absolutely adore the owner of this hotel. Was placed in the king suite and could not have been more impressed with the layout, the amenities and the overall service we received. A very warm and friendly family owned business that far exceeded my expectations!

Rooms need to be updated. Old furniture, stained and smelly carpet, cigarette burns on bed sheets and comforters even though the room is labeled as non smoking. My wife used her own blankets because she didnt feel the ones on the bed were clean.

Stayed here for a few days during last week and loved it! Staff was friendly, Fireside was both affordable and had a great menu. Found a great place to stay next time I am in the Scottsdale area, looking forward to my next visit.

Centerstone Plaza is nice hotel. Nothing fancy, nothing awesome. But the price is extremely good and the location is great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a little worn but not run down. If you dont have to have the Ritz and you want a place to stay that wont break the bank- this is it. The pool is fun and the attached restaurant is handy. And the Fountain Park and strip mall across the street make this a wonderful place.

Great family oriented hotel with a friendly and helpful staff at an in crowded valley location with clean rooms at a very affordable price. Why stay in Scottsdale when you could stay 5 minutes away? We paid $35 for breakfast for the 4 of us at the onsite restaurant and they delivered it up to our room. Room service is also available. The outdoor pool/hot tub was clean, warm and never crowded. Everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Already booked our return trip for Christmas.

MAYBE a little above average. Tried to get breakfast at the on site restaurant and they were out of almost everything that we wanted, we ended up leaving to go to another restaurant. Room service took at least 30 minutes longer than we were told on another occasion. Room was clean and grounds are well kept. Quiet enough to be comfortable. Decent enough but certainly not someplace that I would rave about.

Location is great. First walking in staff is friendly and looks great. Was very disappointed that the pool hasnt been filled or taken care of. Also floors were terrible to walk on and I heard my upstair neighbors all night and all morning. The rooms definitely need a little more style in them! But overall with the price and location it was a decent stay-cation for my husbands and I late anniversary.

Gary, the owner, and the entire staff at Centerstone Plaza are so friendly! They are always welcoming and interested in how your stay is going. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The pool is heated and also very clean. The jets in the hot tub are strong—great place to relax. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient with some lovely views of the beautiful fountain that is the landmark of Fountain Hills. I have recommended this place to many people and will continue to do so! Gary, thanks to you and your staff for another great stay—loved my newly redecorated room!

Staff is friendly and the location is amazing. At first glance, everything looks really nice and high end, but its starting to show its age with cracked tiles, peeling sheetrock, and leaky roof (that hasnt been properly fixed in a year). Some of the repair work isnt very good either. But thats just the craftsman in me. Otherwise, the stay is quiet with nice views. A/C works really well and I get a comfortable sleep. Will stay again and recommend them to friends looking at a great Fountain Hills location for a good rate (consistently cheaper than their one other competitor in town).

Stayed here from June 4th through the 7th and it was amazing. Gary (the owner) is very nice and laid back. He always has a smile on his face and greets you when you walk in the door. He gave us an incredible deal on the room we stayed in and the room was very nice. When we walked in all we could say was WOW! The staff is very friendly and the view is very lovely. The pool is very refreshing during the day and the hot tub was very relaxing at night. I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Gary for your generosity and hospitality.
