Staff is very rude. Laugh and make fun of you as you walk away after asking questions your unsure of. Absolutely NO cleaning practices to prevent spreading of illnesses,not just COVID. Will check the caller ID and only answers for certain numbers then avoids/ignores others. You have to walk in to get answers you may have, and thats if staff is at desk and not out back, or elsewhere! Staff constantly runs out back if not teaching a class, leaving parents who may come in ,waiting. Whether it be a new student,or question due to no returned calls. Depending on staff instructor, ONE water break MAY be given to the kids. They have recorded cameras but no public knowledge that they are doing so, which is very uncomfortable and leaves questions. Kids are found outside without a parent even being there after class. Like a daycare,no real focus in martial arts.

Tiger Rock is an excellent taekwondo studio that offers many challenges and tournaments, their friendly staff are always available to help with anything.

This academy is an excellent school to learn self-defense, but more importantly to become an improved human being. Martial arts has changed who I am ever since I was 4 years old. Tiger Rock Martial Arts teaches important life principles. The staff at these schools are welcoming and ready to help with any situation. Being with this company and with these same instructors for 14 years, I can say that this is an amazing organization. There is no money that can buy these important life lessons learned in these martial arts schools. Enroll and you will not be disappointed.

We have known the Tucks for going on 13 years. Our teenager started when he was 5 years old and achieved his black belt. All students that have been a part of the Tiger Rock family, and have had the privilege of being taught by Aaron or Mary are outstanding individuals indeed. Their moral and ethical teachings have been demonstrated time and again and are reflected in those young minds that they have helped influence over the years. Although I have not been a student of the Tucks, I can attest to their character and devotion to Tiger Rock and its teachings. For the first time, my daughter at 4 years old, is experiencing a class setting with friends her age and a teacher other than myself. Mr. Gunderson and the staff at Tiger-Rock Fountain are great at developing confidence in students by instilling discipline, improving focus, and teaching self respect. Students thrive in a safe, clean environment in age appropriate groups. You will not find a better place for yourself or your kids to learn self defense and become the best version of yourself on and off the mat.

My two boys attend the North Springs location most of the time and love Mr. & Mrs. Tuck. We occasionally travel down to the Fountain location just so my boys have the chance to spar against people they do not usually spar with. The instructors down there are just as caring and very good with them as well. Recommend a visit for anyone

This is the best martial arts school that serves the fountain area! The new chief instructor, Mr. Gunderson, creates a positive, fun learning environment where the kids can gain confidence and learn valuable life skills. Every time you enter the school you are greeted with a smile! All students learn how to listen, respond, and respect those around them. Ive been Mr. Tucks Taekwondo Instructor for over 20 years. He worked for me In Texas before opening his academies in Colorado. During the time he worked for me, I heard many positives from the students(including my own children) and parents training at my location. The only complaints I ever heard were from people who asked him to compromise his integrity, (dont try it :-))This Integrity is the number one reason for the success of his programs in the Colorado Springs area.Mr. and Mrs.Tuck are two of the best Instructors/students I have ever had the pleasure of training with. I would highly recommend any of their locations to anyone in the area!

The Tucks are great instructors and very hard workers. They are respectful people and run a great academy. I would take lessons from them and suggest them to others any time.

I started TKD with the Tucks after my mom did a lot of research for not only great instruction but also great owners/instructors. I have learning focus and ADD issues and I needed to find an activity to help with them. Master and Mrs. Tuck were patient to help me learn. I earned my black belt over 3 1/2 years only because they helped me to stay on track with my goals and not give up. Their help in TKD helped me with school work too. They didn’t just see me as another student but a person and showed they cared every class!

Update: Ive had the chance to train with the team here more frequently and they continue to be excellentIve competed against students from this school and know the instructors. Top notch sportsmanship and the quality of the competition tells me a lot about the training.

I took my son to Tiger Rock (he is 3 1/2) to see if it was something he would be interested in. The staff was very courteous, welcoming and patient with him and I was very impressed with the friendly atmosphere.

Mr. Gunderson is amazing. Ive known him for over 15 years and hes a prime example of what martial arts if taken as a youth can build in a person. Hes honorable, genuine, will go over and beyond for a stranger, and im proud that after retiring for the army that he decided to give back to the community by teaching martial arts. As an instructor hes firm, but kind and will treat every child as if they are his on. If you are looking for martial arts please check out Mr. Gunderson I promise youll be happy.

Ive known the Tucks for 7 years now and I highly recommend kids and adults to come to this TKD center! I called around a good bit to find the best instruction for my then 2nd grader to help him be active and to help him focus better in school. Getting the best instruction was really important, but I also couldnt afford the many high monthly fees of many studios I called. Springs TKD has been the best of a personal small business, GREAT instruction and value! My son earned his black belt and the discipline learned in TKD helped him to focus in home and school. I highly recommend giving yourself or your kids the opportunity to be part of a great TKD center!

Whenever we are in the Springs we take the kids to the Tiger Rock Schools, because the instructors and owners welcome TR students from around the country to fully participate in classes. Everyone is so nice and professional.

Nephew has a great time and the instructors are really enthusiastic
