Great Riding class. The trainer and the owner helped us in amazing ways. The teacher taught us all basic riding skills and excelled through the right mix of demanding and patience. But more than any regular driving school, I was impressed by the great length the owner went through to make the training possible for me. Picking me up at 6am to bring me to the teaching site (40 min away) and bringing me back to the Metro station after the training, deserves my deepest respect and highest recommendation.Great school, amazing owner, exemplary training.

One word, awesome. These guys are passionate about motorcycles and it shows in their training. Right from classroom to actual riding, it has been a wonderful experience. Dale made sure we understood not just the standard operating but also hammered all the safety instructions that go with it. Both Dale and Mike were great over the 2 days training. I highly recommend them.

Paul our instructor was great. Decades of knowledge and was delivered in a easy common sense way. I enjoyed the class very much and cant say enough about Paul and the owner. Everything at the RMV was taken care of when I went. I will recommend this school and course to friends and family. Over all a great time!

A huge THANK YOU to Rich & Paul for their patience, dedication and advice throughout the entire course. I never thought I would complete this course learning as much as I did. It was a fun two days and I now feel more comfortable than ever while riding! Thanks again, you guys are awesome! Hope to see you on the road! :) Also want to thank Bill- from signing up, to wrapping up the course; he was efficient through email from start to finish. I would recommend Streetwise Cycle School to anyone who wants to learn to ride!

I signed up with my son who had never ridden a motorcycle before the class. We had Rich as our classroom instructor and he did a great job of working his decades of riding experience into the classroom discussions. We then had Rich and Bob for the on-bike instructions. They easily picked up on each students abilities and spent the extra time with the students who needed it most (my son). After 2 days, 10 students and 10 licenses. Even the experienced riders in our class felt that they learned a lot about staying safe on a bike. This is the only riding course Ive ever taken so I dont have anything to compare it to but I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great intro/license course.

So happy I chose Streewise for my class. They were so patient and professional and really made me feel at ease with this experience. Not to mention our two instructors Gary and Ken where the absolute best. Thank you so much.

I took the experienced rider course, and I really enjoyed it. While there is practice for what is required on the road test skills (which are tested at the end of the course), there is a lot of great advice on bike handling techniques, demonstrations, and most importantly practice for defensive maneuvers. I highly recommend taking the course from these guys!

I took the beginners riding course when I was 17, almost 2 years ago. The course taught me everything I needed to know to stay safe on the road. Through my riding experience I have used everything I learned in this class to stay safe and get out of bad situatonss. I tell everyone that I know that wants to start riding to take the course at street wise before the ever hit the road. I would strongly recommend to everyone that wants to ride to take this course. The instructors are nice and understanding, and the only thing they want is for you to be safe on the rode. Stay safe out there everyone.

My son and I took the Basic Rider Course after we got our learners permit from the RMV. We both were pleasantly surprised as to the amount of field learning on a bike provided by the school! ... Not only were the Instructors, knowledgeable and pleasant, they had common sense too (Alan & Ron)! They were excellent at explaining things.Lastly, the class is a value even if you arent specifically looking to get licensed - it was as fun as renting a jetski (but much more reasonable in terms of cost). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great experience. I just took the class having no experience riding motorcycles and not only did I get my M endorsement, I learned a ton in the process. In fact, I kind of feel crazy having even considered just trying to get a cheap bike and watch youtube videos to figure it out on my own. I have plenty of experience riding bicycles and driving cars with standard transmissions, but I took it with a friend who had never driven a standard before and he definitely got it (even if he was probably a little more stressed about the initial exercises.) There were 12 students and 2 instructors which gave plenty of personalized feedback with every exercise. Definitely recommend to anybody interested.

The main reason Im giving Streetwise a 1 star review is the owner treated me as a dollar sign rather than a person. I understand its a business, but theres a difference between running a business and being money grubbing. So heres my story, the originally scheduled training session I enrolled in was cancelled on me just a couple days before the date by streetwise, they then asked me to reschedule (through email) due to lack of people signing up for that time slot, as well as to help them fill in some vacancies for their other time slots. The remaining available times for that weekend were inconvienient for me, but I work 2 jobs, and had already taken off work from both for that weekend, so I had to move things around and take an earlier appointment to keep from having to take off another weekend from work, (which would take about a month for me to get approved) and further inconvienenced me. So I switched to an earlier class. The class went fine the first day, it was what I expected from a motorcycle course. The second day, my alarm didnt go off so I was 15 minutes late to the training session, so they refused me and told me to talk to the owner. I called him and asked if I could reschedule to a later time he was teaching that day. He said something like, thats fine, just bring 100 bucks. I was shocked at how much he wanted, but had my hands tied. I got there, and the class went fine aside from there being no drink cooler on an 85 degree sunny day. At the end of it, he asks me for the money, and I ask him if he can waive the fee due to the inconviencies they caused me, and the virtually no effort they had to use to reschedule my appointment, as nicely as possible. He says to me, Were already cutting you a break by only charging you 100 dollars, we should have charged you the full tuition again. At that point I held back my objections, because he said it in a threatening way, like he was about to tack on the extra 225 dollars at any moment for me trying to reason with him, so I bit the bullet. Aside from the ridiculous price and way i was treated...wheres my 100 dollar rebate for them rescheduling on me? Why do I get a 100 dollar fee and they just say, whoops, pick another time. My advice; if you dont want to get swindled, or support a deplorable gentleman, pick another riding school.
