Spankys is AWESOME! What an invaluable experience. The knowledge our daughter gained & relatable experience she was able to get from the on-road/around town driving lessons have been crucial in helping her to understand the rules of the road better. While mom/dad and family members practiced (lots of!) driving with her, it always helps to learn from a professional with so much experience working with teens. And she loved it too! Which almost never happens with things we sign her up for :) So win-win in our book. Highly Recommend!

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed Spanky’s class and the driving lessons. In her words, “It’s not just about driving. He teaches us lessons we need to know in life”. CJ tells his personal stories to keep it interesting for the kids and they appreciate that.It was well worth the money. The communication was very prompt by phone or email.As a parent, I want the dangers of drinking/drugs and driving as well as texting and driving reiterated over and over. Our kids think they are invincible and, as we adults know, they are not. If it takes a “gruesome” video to get that point across, so be it.Thank you CJ for everything you put into these kids. If I had another teen, he/she would definitely be coming to your class.

The owner Chris can be very rude and condescending. He tries to impress parents that he is cool and laid back but he is truely the most uptight, controlling person I have ever met. He loves the power of locking the door on students if they are 30 seconds late. He spends a lot of class time focusing on drunk driving and cell phones. There are a lot of rules of the road and other road information he skips over to continue to scare and show gruesome videos of drunk driving. Not every child is a drunk. He needs to focus more on DRIVING and the laws/rules/instruction of the road. The most distasteful thing he did was trying to bash and tear down another local driving school to get more business for himself. It was tacky and extremely unprofessional.If you notice.... on Google and his Facebook page he doesnt allow reviews. I wonder why that is???

While the owner stated he called me back he never did call, send an email or leave a voicemail either. Once Covid19 started my son had a scheduled class that was cancelled. I have had zero communication from Spanky’s for months. It took me posting my experience to get my first communication! Take your business elsewhere. Spanky’s represents the best driving school one could ever attend. The lessons and values Chris taught me along with the multitudes of other students not only changed my way of thinking about being behind the wheel, but my perspective on life as well. It’s something you’ll never forget, and I recommend this school to anyone willing.It’s not just a driving academy; it’s an experience.

Chris has a quality program. Our kids have all thoroughly enjoyed it. Its clear theyve learned a lot, and theyve all expressed how fun and engaging the classes are. Chris is contributing to our local teens being equipped to be safe drivers. Weve had 3 kids go through his program, and as a mother Im very thankful for all they learned.

I have yet to complete all of my driving lessons but I still have so many good things to say about this program...If you want your kids to understand what it means to be an adult, or if you are someone who is entering the age in which you began driving, then this class is made for you. Mr. Spanky may be awkward and goofy, but heck; I learned more about what it means to be grown than I ever thought I would in a drivers ed class.I’m Someone who can’t sit still for more than an hour or two, so the breaks every 45 minutes to an hour are perfect for meYou learn the realism of driving, the dangers that come with it and how to live a full life while staying safe. The videos we watch, the notes we take and the activities we do all contribute to the underlying theme that, (*sorry Stan Lee*), with great power comes great responsibility.There is a lot more I can say about this program, but the main point is that it is phenomenal for those who are working towards their permit, those who are wanting to obtain a license, AND those who already have their license.THANK YOU SPANKY!!

A great experience. Makes you think about your driving choices. Instructor has much integrity.

Do not allow your children to take this course! You will regret it. He has zero regard for the health/safety of his students. FOR EXAMPLE,my child went to lunch with some friends on his break. When they returned, the instructor was standing at the door spying, to see who had seat belts on.When they started class, the teacher asked everyone to raise their hand if they were not wearing a seat belt. My son, being the honest kid he is, raised his hand and told the truth. I know for ceartain that my child wears his seatbelt 99.9% of the time. This time, he was in a hurry and didnt want to be late to class. Afterall, . If they are 1 minute late, the teacher locks them out.As punishment for forgetting to wear his seatbelt while on his own time, the instructor took upon himself to kick the kids that werent wearing seatbelts out of class. Its 1:30 in the afternoon and these kids have nowhere to go. Keep in mind Its 95 degrees outside and these students are 15 miles from home. I left my child in the care of this instructor and he has thrown them out in the arrears with no supervision.Needless to say I am disgusted and will reporting this instructor to the state as he is putting his students in harms way. I did not sign my child up for military school, I signed him up for drivers education!

Such a fun place to learn the rules of the road!! It helped me to pass my permit test and the teacher is as hilarious as can be!
