My husband and I are really happy we chose The Academy! Our daughter loves it and is really thriving here. She loved her teachers in the infant room and now loves her teachers in her new classroom. They have tons of activities for the kids to do. There is something fun going on all of the time! The staff is very nice and communicates well with the parents. They changed their menu recently and now have fresh and organic food which is a huge plus. We would definitely recommend!

We absolutely love it here! Our 18mo is loved so well by all of the staff. Ms. Delilah, Ms. Katrina and Ms. Tracy are the absolute best. They love our little one as if he was there own; they are patient, kind, and go above and beyond to care for and teach their kiddos. Our babe is thriving after being there only 3 short months! I highly recommend this center for your little one! It’s the best decision we’ve made hands down.

We have been bringing our son here for about a year and we LOVE it! My son loves going to school and the communication between the teachers/director and us couldn’t be better. The staff here is very accommodating for their parents needs. My little girl has been going here since she was an infant (now 5), and has always had a very loving relationship with her teachers. She has made some great friends along the way, and has acquired the knowledge she will need once she starts kindergarten later this year. I have always felt confident that she is well taken care of here, and it stems from how well the teachers are taken care of. Great teachers need great management to care for their well being and to foster retention, especially in a sensitive area such as child care. The Academy of Cool Springs does this very well and exceeds expectations.

We love this daycare for our daughter. We are new to the daycare world and they have been great with her transition and our concerns leaving her. Her teachers are the BEST!! My son has attended AOCS since he was five months old. Every classroom and teacher has been amazing. I know he is truly loved and cared for. My favorite part is getting the daily pictures and videos of everything he’s doing and learning. It’s a great place for any family and I recommend it without reservation.

I cant be any happier with my experience at the toddler 1 class. Ms. Katrina and Ms Delilah are very knowledgeable, caring and loving. They know how to keep our babies entertained and they teach them a lot. The place is extremely safe.

We LOVE our Academy of Cool Springs family. We seriously hit the jack pot when it comes to daycare. My son started attending when he was around 10 weeks old and is now 2 & 1/2 years old. The directors and teachers are truly amazing and are so involved every step of the way!! The directors send out weekly emails outlining the curriculum and fun activities for the week. My husband and I are also huge fans the Tadpole App, which will let us know what he ate, when he slept, how many diapers changes he had. The teachers even send pictures or videos through the app of our son doing art projects, having fun on the playground, reading stories at circle time, or dancing with his best friend in class. We also really appreciate how they offer seminars/workshops for parents that focus on topics like potty training or conscious discipline. We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing teachers our son has had. They have been a great resource when we have had issues from everything like weening off pacifiers to dealing with nightmares. I honestly can NOT say enough good things about the at the Academy of Cool Springs!! Being working parents, it truly is a huge weight off our shoulders to be to drop our child off at a place where we know he is going to flourish and grow in so many ways. If we had it all over to do again, we wouldnt change a thing!

I love the Academy! My son has been attending since he was 4 months old. We love the teachers and the entire staff. Sara and Christine run a great center and are always available if my family ever needs anything. We have had two children here so far. Each child has had great experiences here in two completely different age groups. The reason we stay is honestly the teachers. They are GREAT! And my children LOVE them. Even my kindergartner who doesnt attend anymore LOVES to go back and see all his teachers. By about 2 years old, your child will know ALL the teachers in the building and will call them by name. Its crazy but it goes to show how much of an overall team atmosphere they have. The building is older which is a negative but I would take an older building and awesome teachers rather than a newer building with just okay teachers. The teachers make an impact on your childs life and they are by far the most important part. And honestly, the building feeling is that of a kindergarten classroom in my opinion with the kids art covering the walls and thats one reason we picked Academy to begin with. The atmosphere was more welcoming and home-like than other newer facilities that felt sterile and cold.

Our little one has been attending since he was 3 months, and we’ve had an excellent experience. Their staff are very caring and professional, always keep us updated with photos, developmental activities and progress. There is no shortage of activities for kids and parents nights out for a little break.

We love the Academy of Cool Springs! We have been going there for the last 2 1/2 years. You can tell that everyone there has the genuine best interest of the kids, in mind. My daughter has been at The Academy of Cool Springs since was 2 years old and she is now 5. She has always bonded with each one of her teachers and they make it feel like you’re leaving your child with family. She has acquired all the skills that she is going to need for Kindergaten and then some. The management is always on top of things and just the all around environment is something so very special and a rare find. We love our school family!

When going back to work after having a baby you spend up to 12 weeks panicking about who will watch your precious bundle of joy every day. I toured Academy of Cool Springs when I was 6 months pregnant and immediately felt safe about the space and people there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming! I have been back to work for two weeks and the first day I felt as if I was going to fall apart but getting a photo every day of my smiling 3 month old makes me feel at ease. It is the hardest decision to leave your baby with someone but the teachers and staff at AoCS make you feel like you are dropping them off with family.

We LOVE the Academy of Cool Springs! Our daughter is thriving here! We didnt know what we were missing out on before we started here. There are no tears at drop-off anymore. The classroom is calm and structured, which is EXACTLY what my daughter needs. These teachers and administrators know what they are doing and it shows!

I just recently started with The Academy of Cool Springs in June and I was so nervous about leaving my 3 month old for the first time as I returned to work. All the teachers there make it so easy to transition into because they truly do care about each child. I am a breastfeeding mom and I was so nervous I would be wasting so much milk having him go to daycare but they were able to get him on a good schedule within like 3 days and I dont have any milk wasted! The teachers truly understand that breastmilk is liquid gold and do everything they can to not waste it.I also loved how they send me at least one picture if not more throughout the day. It is always the highlight of the day for me. My little guy always looks so happy and that is comforting. They also have breakfast for both kids and adults every morning which makes it easy if I was running late and wasnt able to eat something before I left. They always have something I can grab and go and even get a cup of coffee if I want. Out of all the facilities that my husband and I toured, theirs was by far the cleanest! I highly recommend The Academy of Cool Springs!

I have two children that have been attending the Academy of Cool Springs for over a year now and I have nothing but positive to speak of this child care facility. They keep communication open through email, text and phone calls as appropriate. The staff that works at the Academy are wonderful to my children and I know they are well cared for when they are in there care.The educational curriculum has been appropriate for their age level. I feel confident when it is time for them to start Kindergarten they will be well prepared and confident in the education they were provided as well as the social aspect they have experienced.Nothing is more important to me than my children and I feel they have been entrusted in the best care.

I’ve had two sons enrolled at this school for over a year. We’ve loved every teacher they’ve encountered and the administration staff is always responsive and understanding of any situation that arises. The school offers many different experiences for our little ones in a warm, loving, and educational environment.

This past year has been great since my daughter started at The Academy. She learns so much while she is in school. Each day she comes home and surprises my husband and me with words that we had know idea she knew. We are also excited about my daughter being exposed to new things and encouraged to explore. We LOVE Academy of Cool Springs! We have 2 children, one who has been there since 10 weeks old and another new baby who has just started. The staff is amazing and we always feel our kids our safe, having fun, and LEARNING! The parent communication program that they have it such a wonderful tool, and they send us pictures of our kids several times a day. Couldnt have picked a better place for our kids to start off!

My son started in the Prek class few months ago and is thriving! The Prek teachers are experienced and engaging and offer daily experiences that allow him to learn while having fun. The management team is always onsite to assist with any need you may have. The facility is immaculate and a lot of love and care are put into keeping the center clean, organized and well run. I recommend this center for anyone who is looking for a place that will act as a second home while still providing a structured learning environment.

My daughter loves her teachers. She wants to go to school every day which is the biggest testament to their success. The building is a little older and well-loved, but is always cheerful, clean, and child-centered. The director and teachers have activities that are varied and include special programs for the children. We love AOCS!

The infant room care givers are excellent. My little baby girl loves it there. I always know that she is being well taken care of there while Im at work. We feel so fortunate to have found this place.

Ms. Sara and her team have had nothing but a positive influence on our sons development. In the 9+ months since starting at the Academy our son has had three pairs of teachers, all of whom have pulled out different aspects of his personality. Theyve all been easy and eager to communicate with us on a daily basis, keeping us informed on upcoming events and his daily activities/milestones. The packed schedule of activities combines independent learning with vital interactions with his peers. As a result his social skills have grown immensely, his willingness to follow instructions has increased, and his independence is remarkable. The Academy of Cool Springs is like a second home for myself and for my 7 month old daughter. She has been here since she was 2 months old and I feel lucky to be a parent of an Academy child and also as a teacher of the Academy of Cool Springs. We have been so blessed to be a part of the AoCS family. With the amount of love, care and time they invest in our son and his well-being they are definitely part of our family. I have had such a positive experience here. I had to return to work when my baby was 11 weeks old, and I was a wreck about it. However, it has been such an easy transition because of the amazing teachers he has in the infant room (Brittney and Kristen). I get multiple pictures of him daily through their app on my phone, and I am able to see the web cam of his room on my phone at any time. The teachers are so friendly and caring and love babies! They are constantly interacting with them and teaching them new skills and practicing tummy time, sitting up, talking etc. The director Sara has been so responsive to any/all questions I had (even when I was just on the waiting list). I have had a great experience!

Definitely one of the best daycare and PREK. My child learned a lot in academy of cool springs and everyday we got surprised by her progress. Now my daughter is in 1st Grade and doing good in a public school. So many times my wife and I discuss about our decision to choose Academy of Cool Spring and we feel really proud of it.

We couldnt be happier with our childcare provider for our preschool and infant children. The staff obviously wants to be there; the facility is clean; our children come home happy every day; and the providers are eager to work with us to get to know our children and help us care for them as a team. My son loves going to school! He actually complains on the weekends if I tell him that he is not going to school. His teachers are great about keeping us informed and have worked hard to help us with potty training and weaning him off the paci. They have also been very understanding and responsive to any extenuating circumstances surrounding his care, and for that we are very grateful! It makes it so much easier on me as a working mom to know that my child looks forward to going to school and is well taken care of.

My son has been at AOCS for the last two years and loves it. He genuinely looks forward to going everyday. his baby sister has joined him there too and I feel very comfortable leaving her there. They have a lot of activities and the kids learn a lot!

My daughter started The Academy of Cool Springs at the beginning of the year and is in the Toddler One class. We have been blown away with this school! The directors are very involved and communicate via email once or twice a week...same with the teachers. They offer themed events/programs and offer fun little things you and your child can do to stay involved. Through the Tadpoles app or email, we get photos of our daughter throughout the day and an end of the day report (so I know what shes eaten and when shes had diaper changes). Katrina and Dalilah (our daughters teachers) are such warm people and I felt totally comfortable dropping by daughter off on the first day. Eventually, I think it would be nice to get a new or remodeled facility, but it is always clean and that is what is most important.

My son has been attending The Academy for a little over a year and a half. We started at one location for about 9 months but after making the switch to the Academy of Cool springs location we couldnt have been more happier. Being in both Pre-k 1 and 2 here, we have loved the seasoned teachers, their positive attitudes and their genuine desire to want to come to work every day! (making drop off much more easier on a mommys heart strings). One of our sons most profound accomplishments being here at the Academy of Cool Springs is that he learned how to self regulate himself with breathing exercises. He was able to pull himself together and wipe away his tears and go through the door smiling and skipping all the way to his class! The whole staff was praising him throughout the day, and myself along with my husband were so proud of him! That is another great thing is the relationships you gain with the whole staff! I love that not only does my sons teachers know how and what hes being doing all day so does the front desk people and both of the dedicated directors of Academy of cool springs, this is very comforting to me; as well as, giving us the reassurance that not only are our kids being cared for here but are also being loved. Thank you so much Academy of Cool Springs for making the my transition back into the work force easier and for always being only a phone call away when I start to miss my little man! Our son started full time at the Academy of Cool Springs when he was 14 weeks old, and I was so nervous as a new mom to leave my child with people I didnt know. However, it took no time at all for his teachers and everyone at AoCS to feel like friends to us. Sara and Michelle do a wonderful job of knowing the children and have such a caring spirit. They have been gracious to allow me to come daily to nurse my son at lunch time, and that has been a huge blessing for us. I have never worried about his care and have seen teachers love him like their own. I have been amazed at the activities and learning that take place even for babies at such a young age.

We LOVE the Academy of Cool Springs. Both of my kiddos have loved their days at AOCS and were sad that our days will be coming to an end when Noah goes to kindergarten in the Fall. All of the teachers and staff at AOCS love and care for my children and provide an extended family feel, while they are learning and having fun. And theyre always doing fun things for the parents, win win!

Could not say enough about AoCS! We have been here for 7 years and all of our children have come through The Academy. The teachers, staff, helpers...are all supportive, loving teachers who have enriched my kids lives. Ms Brittany is amazing with infants and loves them like her own little babies. Ms Neeta and Ms Dana are so patient with the 6-12 month old kids helping them transition to food and then walking. Ms Katrina and Ms Daliah are instrumental in getting your kids to sit in a chair at the table, eat normal food and better yet...sleep on mats for nap time to help work in getting your toddler out of the crib and into a bed. Ms Tracey is so patient with the kids in Tod 2 as they work on vocal skills and their little personalities really come out. Ms Rachel in Pre-school 2 makes learning fun and the kids absorb so much of what she has to teach them from colors to words to letters and numbers. Ms Sabrina and Ms Neelam in Pre-K 1 start working with the kids in handwriting which can be difficult at times but they are so patient with them and take the time to let kids develop at their own pace. They also teach the kids to write their name and spell their name which is an important thing to learn. Ms Robin and Ms Dalina in Pre-K 2 get your kids ready for Kindergarten! They teach them how to start sounding out each letter to form a word, recognize some basic sight words and even teach them to read. Ms Leslie and Ms Jenni are floaters and while at times that can be strange for kids who do not see regular teachers all of the time has really loved on my kids and made them feel special. This makes it easy when they come into the classroom for lunch breaks, someone is out sick or just come by the classroom to say HI.The Director and Co-Director do a great job of maintaining stability within each classroom for teachers and work very hard to provide the best all around care. Ms Jennifer in the cafeteria does a great job of introducing a variety of foods to the kids which is so important when they are young.My family has truly loved being apart of the AoCS family. I feel comfortable knowing when I drop my kid off in the morning and head to work they are in good and loving hands. I cannot say enough good things about this daycare and have been blessed with their amazing support over the past several years.If you are looking for a place that will love your kids like you do and teach them at each stage, this is the place for you!!

The Academy of Cool Springs is hands down the best preschool around! I have two little ones who attend (4 years and 5months) and we absolutely love it here. Ive also been privileged to work here for the past few years as a Pre-K teacher. From the directors to the teachers, every single staff member here is amazing. My 4 year old runs in each morning searching for Ms. Sara and Ms. Michele to give them a hug. She has learned so much in the past 2 and a half years that she has been going, thanks to her wonderful teachers and the awesome curriculum. My 5 month old has two of the best teachers. When I drop her off she has the biggest smile on her face when she hears their voices. After working in other childcare facilities, Im happy to have found a place where I know my children are loved and have quality care. I am so thankful to have found the Academy of Cool Springs. It feels just like home to us!

My child has attended the Academy of Cool Springs (AoCS) for 3 years, starting with the Toddler 1 room. He also has a severe egg allergy. The staff at AoCS was very understanding about my concerns and we developed a plan together to ensure that he was never exposed to an item with egg in it. We work together each month to go through the menu and the ingredient listing of an item if there is a chance it contains egg. If there is an item that he cannot have they replace that item with something nutritional and update me about the item eaten for that meal. Sending a child with an allergy to daycare where there are many unknowns is scary but AoCS has done a great job creating a safe environment.

We are HUGE fans of AOCS. There are many afternoons when I pick my daughter up, she wants to stay and play on the playground with her friends or run one last time around the playground. She started out in the infant room and has worked her way up to the preK room! . AOCS prepares and feeds my daughter nourishing snacks and meals. It’s a place where she learns but has fun and feels love. This is an excellent choice for your childcare needs!

I cant say enough positive things about this school. Our daughter started at a different school for about 8 months - she became withdrawn , generally unhappy - hated going to school and would routinely cry and melt down when I dropped her off. I decided to change schools - the Academy of Cool Springs stood out among the others by far. At first glance, it looks small - not as new and fancy as some of the others. However, the school is clean - really clean, and the kitchen smells fantastic all the time. The employees there are the best I have ever dealt with - theyre kind and friendly never clicky or too busy to say hello . Best of all the teachers really love their work environment and it shows. My daughter has had a complete turn around - she not only loves school but she loves her teachers - talks about them all the time - shes made new friends and it makes me so happy to know shes truly not only enjoying herself but learning as well.

We moved to Nashville (Franklin) from Birmingham, AL and the director Sara was so helpful during our transition. In addition to providing exceptional childcare, Sara also took the time to introduce us to the city and help us find a place to live. The teachers at the Academy love our son so well, which makes it easy on us to go to work every day knowing he is in such good hands. The teachers genuinely care about my sons development emotionally, cognitively, and academically. He loves his teachers and it is always such a joy to see how they interact with each other. We also appreciate the well thought out curriculum and healthy foods that are on the menu at the Academy. I appreciate all of the different themed activities the Academy hosts (i.e., easter egg hunts, earth day picnics, etc.) where precious memories are formed with our family. We are moving so we will be switching dayschools, but we are staying with the Academy family because of how wonderful our experience has been. I would recommend the Academy of Cool Springs to my friends and family, as the care my son receives is exceptional.

Thr Academy of Cool Springs is a wonderful place! My twins love going to school and miss it when they are not there. I love hearing about all the fun activities they do each day. They have learned so much both academically and emotionally. I can not say enough about AoCS!

My child is in the Infant 1 room at the Academy of Cool Springs and we couldnt be happier with our experience there! Mrs. Kristen is AMAZING and has truly been a blessing to us and to our daughter. She even gets excited and wants to leave mom to go to Mrs. Kristen many times! Makes me so happy to know that she loves her teacher. My daughter has grown so much stronger and learned so many things since being enrolled in the Academy of Cool Springs. Mrs. Kristen and all the staff there truly listen to you and make it a point to understand how you want your child to be cared for instead of just doing it their way. I have never felt like a number or just another mom at the Academy. They give you and your child individualized care and attention and really get to know you. I would highly recommend the Academy of Cool Springs to anyone I know with young children looking for a place that truly loves and cares about your child as you do.Edit 2/18/2020: 4 years later - I now have a 4 year old still enrolled at the Academy, a 2 year old and another on the way that will be enrolled here. WE LOVE THIS PLACE. The directors are amazing and do such a good job pairing class teachers and co-teachers with their strengths and weaknesses. They treat the teachers/staff & the parents with so much love and respect. I love watching how efficiently they run the school and how much they care about one another. As far as the teachers go, they are all first class. My daughters come home raving about their teachers and the special attention that they made sure to show them that day. Every teacher weve had, in every class, has always spent time when I pick up to tell me about my childs day. I have always gotten full transparency and honesty from the teachers - they will tell me if my child struggled with discipline that day (and will give specific examples so that we can work on this at home), or will give me awesome examples of how they were big helpers and what specifically they did that motivated my child that day.... I feel like we have these fantastic group of people helping us raise our children to become strong, smart, independent adults. My husband and I are thankful everyday that we chose this school & for the relationships my children have been able to build here!

AoCS made the choice simple when it came to deciding which childcare facility to send my daughter. It was evident from the moment we entered and met the director that AoCS was the right choice. Ms. Sara and all of the wonderful teachers at AoCS are kind, loving, helpful, and most important, provide excellent care. They make my family feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated. They have always met and continue to exceed my expectations. We are so happy with our decision and highly recommend AoCS to any parent in need of childcare!

After ten years and six months of childcare provided by The Academy of Cool Springs, our family has turned the page to a new chapter in our children’s lives – kindergarten and middle school. The Academy of Cool Springs has been a consistent fixture and crucial component in our family’s daily routine. AOCS has provided quality care and instruction balanced with hugs and positive attention for both of our children who, as a direct result, are well adjusted and very social. AOCS has given us peace of mind that allowed us to perform our respective jobs without concern for the well-being of our boys; we knew they were in a place that cared for them and attended to their needs. That is one less worry in a long list of daily to-do items. The staff has been kind, appropriately firm, communicative, and a pleasure to know. The facility is clean, secure, cheerful, well managed, and bursting with activity. We considered the cost to be reasonable and fair. The directors, Sara McFall and Michele Carrizales, are first-class and never lack a smile, a hug, or a kind word any time we would come or go. The educational programs for our kids have been beneficial, engaging, and worthwhile. While we are excited about the new chapter in our lives, we are sad to say goodbye to our friends at AOCS. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Academy of Cool Springs. I accidentally stumbled across them by calling the wrong phone number years ago while trying to reach another childcare facility a friend recommended. The director at the time engaged me in conversation and I am so very glad she did. My oldest child attended from around 6 weeks until he graduated Pre-K. My youngest has attended since he was 9 weeks and I hope hell be there through Pre-K as well. Its difficult to pinpoint any one aspect that makes AoCS such a great school, there are many contributing factors. It starts with leadership. Sara (director) and Michelle (assistant director) are very involved in the school, from everything from answering the phones and giving tours, to helping in the kitchen and classrooms, to planning memorable events like the Pre-K prom, Kindergarten Bootcamp, and the excellent summer program. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly, and it is obvious they care very much about the children, the families, and the staff. The communication is excellent, making coordinating with them very smooth. The positive atmosphere continues with the teachers. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and loving with the children. Again, as I’ve already had one child pass through the full range of rooms and now have another going through, I’ve gotten to know the mostly seasoned staff very well. They see each child as an individual, and the children benefit not only from the stable, loving environment, but from the education and dedication of each classroom’s teacher team. There is an ongoing teacher education program that ensures teachers are up-to-date with the Academy’s program and also have the opportunity for refreshment and appreciation. I know personally that an appreciative employer is key to job satisfaction and dedication. The Academy also has a Branches program, and holds fundraisers to raise money to help staff and student families in times of need. After more than 5 years, I could say much more, but I will just end with saying that they go above and beyond mere childcare and love and educate our children to give them the best start possible in the world. If I can’t be at home with my children, they definitely have the next best thing at the Academy of Cool Springs.
