I am so thankful for The Academy of McKay’s Mill. I have brought my only child here since he was 3 months old. As a first time parent, I was naturally very apprehensive about leaving my child anywhere. The staff made me feel so safe and at ease leaving him with them! My son is 1 year old now and it is so nice to see him reaching for his teachers every morning when I drop him off! I can’t imagine taking my little guy anywhere else.

We just had our last day at the Academy of McKays Mill. For 9 years we had the comfort and pleasure of knowing that our children were being taken care of just as we would. The teachers truly care about the well being of the kids and the path of their education. They did more than just look after my children, they were an integral part of my childrens lives. We couldnt be happier with the experience and will miss them very much.

My two daughters happily attended the Academy of McKays Mill from only months old until Kindergarten. Over the last 8 years we have had so many great experiences. What originally attracted us to AOMM were the teachers and we were not disappointed. There were so many including Ms. Regina, Ms. Sherry, and Ms. Tina that cared for our kids and taught them so much. My oldest ended up being bored in Kindergarten because she was so well prepared. As Pre-K graduation approaches, I have the same expectation for my youngest but Ms. Regina rightly corrected me that shes likely ready for 1st grade instead.

AoMM has been a fantastic place for my family. The teachers are so caring & both of my girls have thrived there. Thank you for your endless love for this school!

We take our 2 boys here and have had a great experience with the entire staff. They care about every child and not only listen but ask if you have any specific requests and then they actually implement them. They were very helpful with potty training our oldest and encourage our little one in just about everything he does. We have really enjoyed being a part of the AOMM family.

Great experience! Caring teachers & a lot of fun activities always planned. Extra added bonus is the continental breakfast in the mornings! Its been a lifesaver for this busy family. Would most definitely recommend to any & all who are in the market for a fun, loving, safe child care!

My granddaughter has been attending AoMM since she was 4 months old and we love it! The teachers always welcome me with a smile and they treat the children like their own. I can tell the center is filled with so much love. Its hard leaving your grand-babies, but I know she is in good hands while we are away

Its rare in todays world when you can unequivocally endorse an organization 100%. The AoMM is the only place to have your children if you are considering preschool. Ms. Hollie, her teachers and staff has made an important difference in our childrens life.

We have had an awesome experience at AoMM! The staff is great and very helpful. I do feel like the staff has beside a second family to my daughter and I both! My daughter loves going to school everyday!

Both of my girls have attended AoMM since they were babies, and I cant say enough about the care and attention given to them. When you have total peace & comfort leaving your children in the hands of others, you know you have found the right place! I have referred numerous people to this center and every one of them would say the same! Wonderful staff & welcoming atmosphere!

My kids have been going here for years. We have had nothing but a great experience. All of the staff are professional and really treat the kids as their own. My daughter has hit some major milestones that we give full credit to them for (including potty training, quitting the pacifier, etc.). Educationally, it has prepared them (put them ahead) when they started kindergarden. We have been floored at what my daughter learns and comes home and tells us with.

My oldest daughter attended this school, and she is finishing 3rd grade this year. My second daughter has been going there since she was one and this year shell be entering kindergarten. I have to say that this school, director and teachers have been a blessing to this full time working mom, I couldnt have asked for a better place for them to start preschool, they are all so caring and loving.

What an amazing place for children to learn and grow! When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile (and a giant fishtank that the kids absolutely love)! The hallways are lined with artwork created by the classes and I love how excited my kids got to show me where their art was! The teachers are superb - loving and patient and communicate everything I need to know. I have to say having snacks and lunch provided is definitely a bonus - one less thing to have to do before heading out the door! And the option to eat breakfast with my kids before walking them to their rooms is perfect too! I have recommended this location to friends and family and will continue to do so! The kindergarten bootcamp programming is also just right for those big kids that are embarking on the kindergarten adventure. I think it really helped prepare my daughter (the school bus was a definite highlight)!

We have been so pleased with AoMM the short time we have been there. My daughter started in the infant room, and we love it. The teachers are caring and so attentive.

As a new parent a few years ago I was VERY nervous to use a daycare/preschooI. But with no extended family nearby I had no other choice. Looking back, it was the best decision I ever made. My son blossomed under the care of all those great teachers. And the faculty and staff became the perfect substitute for the family type care that I was really wanting. With my 2nd child on the way, I wouldnt consider another option.

Our family loves AoMM! Both of my daughters have received the highest quality love and care from the best teachers! They have been surrounded in an excellent learning environment where they are engaged and challenged. We highly recommend AoMM!

As a Mother of 5 year old twins and a 1 year old, it is with great experience at the Academy, that I share my review. Each weekday morning starts the same with us getting/most days racing, out the door, to grab a quick family breakfast at the Academy. The hot contential breakfast each morning prepared with a smiling warm face and I am certain made with love, fuels our family of 5 for the day. At this favorite breakfast spot, we have come to know more and more families and it feels like an extension of our kitchen and home. This is part of the unexpected experience at the Academy money cannot buy.The support from all the parents and the staff members are unbelievable. We all share similiar experiences with our children and advice and have truly found friendship, much to our surprise. The parents try to slow down and spend time together before leaving their children for the day.Our childrens teachers and directors have all become part of our extended family as well.My husband and I leave there for work every morning with the confidence that this school and staff members are the absolute best place this side of heaven, for our children to learn and grow. We have peace knowing that all teachers have our childrens hearts protected, as best as they can. Anyone can teach and offer a variety of curriculums but you cannot pay people enough to care. The Academy teams CARES and pours their hearts into my children. I would double there pay if I could and it would still not be enough to express our sincere gratitude.

Deciding who to entrust your child to is a daunting decision. AOMM is the closest to my home so I wanted to love it and I actually do. More importantly my daughter seems to love it. The teachers are so good to her and to me. Theyve helped us with the transition into daycare so much and I am forever grateful. We know she is getting great care every day and we are so thankful for the partnership that we have with the teachers at AOMM. I would strongly consider AOMM for your daycare of choice if you are in the market. You cannot go wrong.

My two boys begin attending the Academy in August 2014 - and our experience at the center has been extremely positive! Some highlights:- The facilities are up-to-date and always clean. The rooms are large and there is plenty of room for the kids to both learn and run around.- The teachers are nurturing and attentive to my childrens needs. My children rush to greet their teachers with a hug each morning, and often ask when they can come over for playdates.- The staff turnover is much lower than what I have experienced at other early education centers, my children have really been able to create bonds with their teachers. Most of the lead teachers my kids have had have been there since the center opened!- The teachers and management team are available and open to discussions with parents.- The lesson plans and activities that are available to the kids - both in the classroom and through included enrichment programs are fun and educational!The Academy of McKays Mill has become a second home for my children, and I am so glad I bided by time on the wait list for spots to open up! I would enthusiastically recommend the Academy of Mckays Mill to anyone who is looking for child care!

We have had two children go through AOMM - our 2nd has another 2 years at the school. Both of my kids have always felt like AOMM is a second home and family to them! They spend/have spent many hours there a week building friendships, bonds with teachers and learning things beyond anything we could teach at home. My daughter left the school a confident reader and MORE THAN prepared for Kindergarten!!! That is more than I could have asked for and we were seriously concerned at one point if she would be able to accomplish those things until Kindergarten!The staff has become extended family to us through the years! My children have had many of the same teachers as they work through the aged-classes and I cant tell you what it means to have them teach both of my children. Weve been able to solve any issues with Hollie and other management along the way - but have rarely needed to! The teachers are certified, well trained, and are up on what is needed to reach the children/age they are teaching.Worth every penny! :-)

The Academy if McKays Mill is an amazing center for children. My kids have grown, learned, made lasting friendships and built a VERY strong educational foundation. I am so grateful for the AOMM staff and families ... The staff is always accomdsting to our needs, reliable and caring. Each day there is a fun activity, an educational component all inside a safe and nurturing environment. The teachers are so creative as illustrated by the dynamic and vibrant decor tailored to the underlying educational theme. Love this place!

In the 6 years that we have had children attending the academy we have been extremely pleased with the professional and courteous staff. I love that each teacher communicates thoroughly on issues I would need to know. We are always greeted with smiling faces and are super happy at how my daughters have always been well cared for there. It feels like we are leaving my daughter with family every morning.My daughter goes to The AoMM and is learning so much daily. To see her unfold before my eyes and coming home with new things that she has learned, from the basic ABCs and 123s to who our president is and where he lives, to counting in different languages, to me is just far more than AMAZING!!!They get the Book Mobile to come to the day care. They get the Police and Firemen to come to show their cars and trucks and talk to the children about their jobs and how they are their friends.Unfortunate for those who are on the wait list. They just have to be patiently awaiting openings for them. Because people from far come to enroll off their kids at the Academy of McKays Mill because of word by mouth from previous students parents.I can guarantee you that this is a safe, fun, and loving haven for your children. Mrs. Hollie and her staff takes great care of the children!

Im extremely blessed to have my 4 year old daughter enrolled at AOMM. She has been enrolled since she was 2 months old and thanks to the amazing staff and teachers, I have seen her thrive as she has met all her developmental milestones. It is also exciting to see her determination to learn. Her teachers do an excellent job with implementing curriculum themes, planning weekly lessons that adhere to the TN standards and they also do an great job engaging each child while coming up creative ways that make learning fun and exciting. Im pregnant with my second child, and Im looking forward in having her experience the family environment, culture, and community of this center. AOMM is defineatley creating childhood!!

I highly recommend the Academy of McKays Mill! We started at AoMM in 2011 when our first daughter was born, and it was a no-brainer to continue going there when our 2nd daughter was born in 2013. It quickly became a second family to us with the loving teachers and staff. The friendships the kiddos make and the social skills they develop are amazing, not to mention the impressive academics they learn. My daughters were using sign language at 1 and speaking Spanish at 2! They come home every day learning something new. We are lucky to have Ms. Hollie as our director and the incredible staff. My kids will no doubt be prepared for kindergarten and beyond. AoMM takes pride in what they do, and it shows. I love their motto: Grow, Learn, Play - it sums up each day perfectly.I also want to mention that the network of parents is also so very strong. Some of my support group and best friendships were developed at AoMM. Im going to be sad to leave AoMM when my youngest goes into kindergarten! We care about those teachers as much as they care for our kids. AoMM is a wonderful school, and my girls love it!
