Nice enough facility. Directions were accurate.

My husband and I are both retired law enforcement from NY. My husband retired as a lieutenant in charge of training and development. His resume is beyond exceptional, and to boot he has a masters degree which he rode through a 4.0. He applied for a position with this agency 3 times. Two times he interviewed and the third never even the courtesy of a response. Obviously you need to be part of the Virginia inner circle. Unfortunate for those who attend as he would have had allot to offer.

I regularly see students from here at the Wawa on Tidewater...and almost every time at least one student has their baton touching the grip of their gun. How is it that the firearms instructors over there do not force the proper use of spacers on the duty belt? Also, half have their mag pouches horizontal, and half vertical, with the heavier set ones carrying horizontally. I am betting though, that when they qualify, vertical mag pouches are used. There needs to be more uniformity when it comes to their firearms training. Lives are at stake. Mediocre at best.
