Very lovely School great place to work and send your child Ill read it at 10

Let me start by expressing my complete disgust with this Rise program. My teenage children were placed in this program because of behavior issues from JM, which was supposed to be the option that allowed the boys to have more attention, focus, mentoring, structure etc.. Instead what we have experienced is a complete waste of 2 years for both children and staff. They children have been home on suspension more than they were in school. No apparent regard for what they stated the program was intended to do. No assistance from guidance, principal, school board superintendent, just a complete waste of 3 hours a day. The parents/kids have no voice and no one to turn to for help in the Fredericksburg City High School. If you are a single parent with troubled youth, dont waste your time with this if possible, try any other method to obtain a education for your child. This program was a joke...If there are any success stories out there I would like to know how they succeeded, and if the teacher was always right, no matter how many people say the same thing about the same person. I know my children are no angels, the adults who choose to teach should have just as many reviews for the amount of time they get out of teaching. I hope more can be done to protect future students that are forced into this ridiculous facility with more rules than the high school.
