Great instructors and course plans. Very hands on.

My son has been taking swim lessons at Kids First Swim School for the past two years. He looks forward to his swim lesson each week. I love the small class sizes and the daytime classes. Works perfectly with our schedule. The facility is clean, and the staff is kind and friendly. The warm pool and observation deck are a plus. Kori J.

I can’t recommend this swim school enough. My son has gained confidence in water, he’s only 5 but is able to submerge completely and start swimming properly by learning to use kicking techniques. My daughter who just turned 7 has learned to kick properly and is now incorporating her arms for the breast stroke. This is all in a matter of going consistently for two months! Love the patient staff, I can tell they truly care about their students. (And the class sizes are small!)

I really wanted to like this place, and I really wanted my daughter to love these swim lessons but we don’t. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it is catered towards childrens swim lessons. My daughter is one of those kids who has zero fear of the pool (hence why I wanted to sign her up for swim lessons) now she has a fear of going underwater and flat out refuses to finish her session (we have two classes left) I understand if there’s a specific curriculum they follow and that the goal of a level one class is to get your child submerged underwater but if you are just dunking them without creating any kind of trust you’re introducing a fear which is unacceptable especially being that paid over $100 for the level one session (6 classes total) What the school neglects to tell you is that even if you register for a session on time, they do not technically close the session. Once it starts (meaning if you sign up for a session that only has three students they will continue to enroll even after the session has started) our first two classes had four students, then right after we a getting comfortable and into a routine they add another student to our third class (now there are five total students which is a full class and has now caused unnecessary disruption to my daughters session) and our fourth class had a “fill in” instructor. When I brought up my concerns to the front desk I was greeted with the attitude of too bad, I don’t care that’s our policy you should’ve asked more questions. Oh and on a sidenote if you need to schedule a make up class and can’t work around their schedule, they offer you a “free swim pass” which is valued at $5.

We paid $250 to have my sons birthday party rented out for a certain amount of time here. 30 minutes into the party we had another group of people come in for a party ( theres only one area you can reserve for a party ) these people that came in for a party were stealing our chairs eye balling my guests as if we were interrupting their time as Kids First Swim had scheduled them at that time with no where to place them!...very money hungry company! Their swim lesson teacher had his back turned on my son while my son was under water not able to come back up I had to run in there an tell the swim instructor what happened... We spent $100 for the first set of swim lessons which he made no progress of SIX classes which I shrugged off because all children learn at different speeds... We paid $100 again for another set of the same level lessons again SIX lessons so at the end of the lessons they wanted to keep my son in the same set of lessons -so after 12 sets of lessons they claimed he made no progress for me to pay again. He missed one class I went into labor I called and asked if my son could make this session up I was told no because they dont offer make up classes so that part of their contract is false. Very young and unsympathetic people running this place they dont look like they enjoy what they are doing at all. Would definitely not recommend... Little Fish Swim has sense directed my son in a much better direction!! Go there if you want to see people with a genuine love for what they do and see results you are also not locked in to one specific level at little fish you pay for lessons an they continue to help your child advance each time you come!

Both my boys have been taking lessons from Kids First for almost a year now. They have both improved tremendously and love their lessons! We are starting Mommy & Me lessons with my third. We love all the instructors - especially Matt. Brian and Becca are wonderful! Highly recommend Kids First!

The instructor (Ms. Taylor) is awesome! My son has come such a long way thanks to her - this is an awesome place to take your children if you want them to learn how to swim in a warm but structured environment.

Both my sons had progressed so much with KFSS, they are both a lot more confident. We are very happy with them.My older son with Aspergers syndrome had for so many years a hard time stretching his right arm, always had a hard time competing or swimming in a group. Hes now level 7, doing progress and very happy attending the lessons.My 5 years old was 3 when I put the boys on swim lessons. He was very scared to put his head under the water, and like his brother he was very stiffed both legs and arms, and had bad coordination.Hes now thriving and hes a happy swimmer on level 3.Not all kids learn or perform at the same speed. With time and patience theyll thrive!

My daughter has had one full session of swim lessons and is part way into her second session. In her 8 weeks of lessons, shes gone from not wanting her face wet and bring afraid to swim without floaties to kicking around with a noodle, floating on her back by herself, and going under water to retrieve dive toys. They have tons of scheduling options, the pool is clean and warm, and the staff and instructors are great. I only wish wed started earlier.

We love this place. Our kids took lessons at other places and they were not set up for kids the way kids first is.

I am a mrs claus. This business booked my services on a verbal contract. Less than 48 hours in advance the manager had one of his employees call to cancel. We had given them free advertizing and turned down multiple bookings. When i called and finally reached Brian he stated that becauae i had no proof he did not have to abide by our contract.why would you call to cancel an appointment if you never made the appointment? He then asked me if we were even the real santa and mrs claus yes he really asked this question. After speaking to district manager they still refuse to pay the cancellation fee.

I am a professional santa that this swim school hired. I book according to the honor system and verbal contract as I have done for 42 years. Never have I been treated so rudely when they called and canceled 48 hours prior to the show. I had turned down several bookings due to this time slot being taken. When I asked them to pay the cancellation fee and informed them that a verbal contract is legal and binding they asked if we had any evidence of our booking to begin with such as a recording. After stating the obvious that you would not cancel a booking that you never made we informed him of the free advertising done for him the free santa mailbox left in his building for children to write letters to santa and the lowering our price to help this business out. Never in my 42 years as santa have I had something like this happen.

I was here for my brothers birthday party and it did not go too well as i expected first off they called my mom and told them that they reserved them a spot(which they did) and we needed another table because there wasnt enough space for everyone however they did not help us at all they were just sitting there watching and they even mentioned my mom to give them a tip to be honest they did not deserve a tip because they didnt do anything and the party rooms were too small as well i thought i would recommend this place but i was wrong were never going back here again
