Learn and Play Niles is a great Montessori. Our daughter went there before have Kindergarten and had a nice time. Very friendly teachers and staff. Very good curriculum and learning cycle. Our Daughter really enjoyed going there and liked the outdoor activities and many events they plan through out the year especially the winter concert. We will recommend LAPMS to anyone looking for a Montessori school.

My son has been going here since he was 2 and a half. He is 5 now. He quickly went from being a child who cried for hours in school to a child who loves going to school. He has progressed through multiple rooms and all his teachers through the years have been wonderful. The admins have always been very helpful. My son has grown to be an intelligent, independent and confident child. Thank you LAPMS, Niles.

It has been couple of months since my 3 yo started attending Learn and Play Montessori School. After the initial hesitation, he has settled in very well & is learning and having fun in a loving environment. Thank you to Ms. Anna, Ms. Natalie & Ms. Senyace. There are supervised learning activities to do like reading, painting, singing. The kids have a big play yard where they can ride bikes and run around. A great place if youre looking for a safe, clean, learning environment for your little one.

My son started going to Niles preschool a month ago and I am seeing a lot of transformation in him already. He has gotten confident and more social. He enjoys going to preschool now. Our kid is learning a lot everyday. :) The teachers in his class are amazing - Ms. Sarla, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Cindy. They take good care of kids and give personal attention. Ms. Alice, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Natalie are wonderful. They are so pleasing to talk to. My son had strangers anxiety and used to cry the first few days. Ms.Alice is so sweet and would take extra care of my son ensuring he gets comfortable and adapt easily. The staff calls and provides frequent updates about our son especially in the beginning days when he just started. It is so satisfying to send your kid to a place which is reliable. The class rooms are so clean with everything organized neatly. The food options are healthy as well. The care and attention the kid gets here is praiseworthy. We are so happy here and glad that we made a great decision to send our kid to LAPM Niles.

Good location, good atmosphere, good teachers. However, very poor management. Their are always understaffed, ratios are never per the requirement. Always have more students per teacher. Teachers are treated badly. As a result teachers dont stay on for long. I would want my childs teacher to spend time in the class and not have to do pots and pans or laundry, etc. I am seriously thinking of moving my child to a different preschool where teachers get the right importance which will motivate them to offer quality education in the class.

My daughter Sanaya, started going to Learn and Play Montessori school when she was 28 months. With terrible two kicking-in and mommy staying away for the major part of the day, it was really hard on her. But thanks to the teachers and Ms Amy, who helped in making the transition a lot smoother. The school was really helpful in trying to make it easier for her. Now she loves going to school and wants to go on Sunday as well. She sings rhymes all the time. It feels great when your child is learning at school. Shes happy and so are we!!

Our son has been attending Learn and Play Montessori Preschool in Niles, Fremont since April of this year. The staff at this preschool is effective with the children. Children seem to obey and respect their teachers more so then other preshools we had visited prior to enrolling our son here. The individual attention is excellent and the best part my son likes is the food. He never used to eat lunch at the previous day care/preschool but here he comes home with full stomach, which can be a blessing for a tired parent. We are very happy with this preschool and we highly recommend it.

A very disappointing experience for both me and my son. The staff has no authority and no psychology skills and the only thing they are looking for are sheepish obedient kids that are easy for them to handle. My son is on the lively, curious and creative side and this blindly structured environment was nothing for him, which can happen. But the approach of the director was really shocking as if she knows nothing about kids and how they are when they are almost four, they even did not try to engage him. So if you have an active independent kid then this might not be the place for you. We left after three stressful weeks.

My husband and I agreed that it was time to start our two year old son in an educational program. He is an only child and we wanted to make sure he was having plenty of social interaction with other kids his age, plus we realized the importance of stimulating a child’s drive to explore and learn. After researching multiple programs and schools in our area, we decided on Learn and Play Montessori in Niles. Our experience at LPMS has been nothing but positive. Our son started a few weeks ago and he is just loving it there. Bringing a child to school of the first time, can be a very emotional experience, but the staff at Montessori has been so kind and helpful. They are fair and honest in their approach and policies. Plus they took the time to answer all my questions. The first few classes were not easy for my son, he was not used to being dropped off, and he was very upset that mommy left him. He cried A LOT! I was surprised how well the teachers handled him. They would pick him up and hold him and comfort him, sometimes for the whole class. During the first few days, I called a few times a day to check in on him. The school staff was so polite and understanding. They even suggested positive ways to help my son and I cope with the transition. Now it has been a few weeks and my son actually looks forward to “school days”. When I come to pick him up, I can tell that he is enjoying himself. He is laughing and playing with the other children. It is absolutely wonderful to see.I would definitely recommend LPMS to any parent who is serious about their child’s future.

My older daughter startred attending when she turned 3, right before her baby sister arrived. The teachers are all very welcoming, caring, compassionate and make me feel that I am leaving my child in a place where she is safe and will be nutured. I love the Montessori curriculum! My daughter comes home telling me about amphibians, Africa, planting radishes, and telling me what 4 + 5 equals. Its so well rounded and yet so practical! My daughter is a generally well behaved child but she has absolutely blossomed in this environment. In a few short weeks - baby sister will join her. We would have started her sooner except they now only take 2 years and up.If you are looking for an amazing preschool with absolutely wonderful teachers and an atmosphere that feels like a elementary school - this is the place for you!

The teachers are good, but management is bad at planning. My older son has gone through their program, advancing from their potty training class to preschool to pre-K. I am very impressed with his social and academic progress. He will be ahead of his peers when he starts preschool this fall. However, I dont like that he has had four different lead teachers in his preschool class in the past year. When I asked his last teacher how the kids were doing with the transitions, she had no idea she was the fourth year.My 3 year old son has been enjoying himself as well, but he has been potty trained for months, but they refuse to move him up to the big kids class because they dont have the room (and, apparently, wont hire more staff to acievethe ratios) in the already-potty trained classrooms. They tell me theyll make his curriculum more challenging and move him up in a year. Im seriously considering moving him so that he can be with kids who are at the same developmental level.

I have two kids at L&P-Niles one just turned 5 and the other will turn 3 in March. They have been there for over a year and Im so happy and pleased with both of their rooms, teachers, curriculum and the continued support from Ms. Kiran and Ms. Aurelia - not to forget the ladies at the front desk! My personal experience continues to be very positive with my son and his Pre-K teachers - Ms. Rhea, Ms. Leah, Ms. Mala and Ms. Chandana. All angels! He continues to impress not only me and his father, but everyone he talks to. Just the other day we were driving to school and he says, Mom, did you know that we breathe in Oxygen and breathe out Carrot Dioxide? I laughed so hard as I said amazing! Of course I corrected him, but just the fact that he knew that continues to impress me. The content he is exposed to in his class is absolutely above par. I remember when I started Kindergarten in my day, I barely knew the alphabet, colors and numbers. My son is now working on addition and subtraction and he is reading and writing, and hes only there part time! My daughter transitioned into the big girl class room #7 but not before she was potty trained at 2.5 years old. I will 100% give the credit to her teachers. One day she came home and just told me she had to go potty. As a parent, thats like hearing you won the lotto or something (no more diapers, wipes, diaper genies, diaper genie liners etc etc$$$). From there on out, her teachers insisted I stop letting her wear diapers! Done and done! People are constantly telling me how impressed they are with her development mentally and physically. Her social skills have improved ten fold as well. Her class teaches her to use her words, share, and to always clean up. I love it! No place or person is perfect, I always say that its important to keep lines of communication open between parents and staff and to express your expectations. Teachers want to work with you and make sure that you know what to expect of them and their curriculum. They hand you a packet describing what to expect and they set up parent-teacher conferences. My concerns through out the time my kids have been there, have been addressed, and thats basically one of the biggest things I value. Thank you L&P Niles for all you do to maintain high levels of standards not only in your curriculum but in the environment / classes as well! Happy 2016!

We started sending our daughter here first and when it was time to start our son at preschool, we did not have to think twice. Our daughter started in room 6, but initially the teachers kept changing but finally once that was settled, she loved being here. Her best times have been in room 4 and room 2, Ms Malia, Ms Lupe and Ms Dillion, did an amazing job with all the kids here. Then she moved to room 2 and another set of wonderful, dedicated teachers, Ms Rhea, Ms Leah, Ms Rex and Ms Mala, Ms Chandana have been truly wonderful. They cover a wide spectrum of subjects and make it fascinating for the kids to learn them by making them do Art and craft based projects which my daughter loves. Now my daughter is in Kindergarten, but she insisted she wanted to go back to Room 2 for her after school program, and i am happy that she is back here.My son who is in room 9 loves coming to school everyday, to play with his cars and his friends. Ms Senya and Ms Ameida have been great with him and take really great care of the kids. He has learnt a bunch of new songs and cant stop singing them and learning to count as well.Another thing which i like about Learn and Play Niles is the soccer and the tuff tumbler classes. Coach Lou does a fantastic job teaching the kids soccer. I just wish they add some more new classes which they can offer at LAMPS.Ms Naomi, Ms Natalie and Ms Amee always welcome you with a smile. Ms Kiran and Ms Aurelia are always available to talk if you have any concerns. So overall i would give LAMPS a big thumbs up!!! Thank you all for taking such good care of our kids.
