I love Amy Blake’s Academy of Dance! I have been going here since I was about 2 years old and I am in the company. If you are wanting a friendly environment Amy Blake’s is the place to go. Mrs. Amy is such a kind lady that knows so much and has taught me what she knows best. She is always telling us that even though we are not a competitive studio she cares most about preparing us and making us stronger. Not tricks. Technique. We are what I like to say performance based. Every year is different, but we usually do a few competitions and mainly performances at different places. Our studio also does a recital. There are many amazing teachers and staff members for example, Mrs. Nicole who is my mentor and who pushes me to work hard and be my best! My other favorite teacher is Mrs. Judith, she is the ballet teacher and she is extremely inspiring to me. I want to make her happy because to me she is more than my ballet teacher. There is also Mrs. Caitlyn, Mrs. Holly, Mrs. Lorraine, Mr. Keith, and many more! All of the amazing staff work so hard to give us students the technique and knowledge that we need to be successful. Just know that it is about your dedication to your craft. All of the teachers want the best for your child!

Mrs. Amy is so kind and patient with my little one who is in the Combo 3 class for 5 year olds. She is passionate, pays attention to technique and form. The kiddos have so much fun yet are still learning the foundational skills. We are so happy to have found this studio and look forward to seeing my kiddo grow!

The owner is very unprofessional. I witnessed her talking down to her staff, throwing them “under the bus” if you will instead of taking responsibility for her actions. This studio was previously owned by Bonnie Siscoe and named Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance. A family member of mine danced there for 11 years and talked very highly of Bonnie’s studio. That being said, we tried out Bonnie’s studio and it was phenomenal! The prices were reasonable and Bonnie and her staff were very welcoming and professional. I admired Bonnie’s passion for dance and the love for her students and staff. However, Amy Blake has changed this studio for the worse. It feels as though there is no passion for dance, just very money driven. I was hoping to love this studio so my children could grow up in a local dance studio, but unfortunately this is not the studio I want my children to be at. I would recommend Star Steppers, JDF elite, or Chara Dance Academy.

Amy Blake and her husband are amazing. They have managed the pandemic very well by installing cameras and a zoom system that allows students to participate in lessons seamlessly from home. Lorraine, the office manager, has always been great to work with. She is friendly, efficient, and incredibly organized.

We have been at this school for about 7 years since my daughter was 2 about to turn 3. We love it here. Very professional, friendly, warm and competitive! Recitals are very organized and amazing. Instructors challenge the girls and still make it fun for them. Ms.Amy has it all together and runs a very organized Dance School.

Really great dance program here. My daughter started in 2016 in Combo III with Mrs. Cyndy, and I highly recommend her class. She did a great job teaching the girls how to attend dance class AND a really cute, original recital routine. Its also pretty awesome that they get to have their recital at the Wortham.

Great school with wonderful ownership, instructors and staff. My daughter has been dancing here for five years now and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

We’ve had an amazing two years at Amy Blake’s!! We will be moving soon and will be sad to leave. :(

Not a great place for birthday party, dance instructor left after 20 min (instead of 45 min) saying 5yrs old kids were not into it 👿👿👿
