I really loved this place. The teachers are amazing. I just moved away from the area and leaving KRK was the hardest part. I checked out all the daycares in the area and went with my gut. I felt like they have the best balance between play, rest, and learning. Most important to me is the teachers really care. It is obvious how much they adore all of the kids and treat them like their own. My baby and I are going to miss everyone so much!

Beautiful people! My two girls love it there, the professionalism is great and the curriculum is even better! My 4 year old daughter is learning so much thanks to Miss Angelia and My 2 year old is excelling like no other thanx to Miss Nicole and Miss Kareena! It’s an amazing place to work at, the management are awesome, the other employees are very friendly and you’ll really feel at home with everyone there. The Environment is very kid oriented and I know without a doubt the kids had an unforgettable summer while at Koti Academy.

Please do not bring your child here. My son was bitten 3 times! Each day after day! Honestly I’m not mad at the child or the parent but at the daycare and teachers! They reported the first bite to me and the second bite the next day they sent an email but the bite today they didn’t even report it at all!!!! They are not watching the kids like they should be.

This childcare center is soooo amazing I can’t explain how happy i’am for making the choice for my children they love the center everyday they come home with bright smiles and they do amazing activities with the kids daily . They have cameras where parents can view their children anytime of the day which makes me comfortable I can see my little one anytime .Karen the director is sooo awesome she loves communicating with parents and kids everyday . The teachers are wonderful they really care about children here they center is always so clean and bright you will be happy will this center . We’ve been enrolled at this location for about three months now. The staff is friendly and very upbeat. My son loves his teachers and new friends. I appreciate the steps they’ve taken to help reduce the spread of COVID 19 amongst the staff and kiddos.

We love kids R Kids Legacy West. They have helped shape and mold both of our children since they were infants. They are our home away from home. Both my children love going to KRK so much they ask “Can we go to school today?” Karen, the director, knows each kid and family so well as do all the front staff. We really appreciate all they do!

KRK Legacy West is truly an exceptional day care. The staff are the most friendly, loving, and caring we have come across (and we moved from another city and had used other day cares before). Karen and Sondra are a delight. We forget that the most basic thing we wants for our kids is love and the teachers share that in abundance here. Highly recommend them to anyone. We cannot wait to be back with our 2 toddlers once this pandemic is over!

The administration is responsive and accommodating. What makes this place stand out is just that — their ability to handle situations in a timely and understanding manner. We feel comfortable sending our child knowing he’s in great care. Our child had also THRIVED in this learning environment developmentally and cognitively thanks to the incredible teachers. Kids R kids was the best choice we could make for our daughter. our 2.5 year girl love her school, their teachers and it is clear how much the school had an effect on my daughter, her ability to excel in what she learns and most of all in growing up knowing the basics at her age. We like the one payment that includes all, wipes, snacks and food (breakfast and lunch as well as snacks) rather than billing us for every single thing like other schools. The most important part is the connection between the teachers and our daughter... our daughter love her teachers and run to them every single day, that by itself say a lot. or when your kid still go and give a hug to the teacher when he was 2 and 3 year old that by itself is priceless. we love the idea of having stream-able cameras that we can watch our kids all day long and we communicate by email with the director Karen and all the staff with any concerns and she ALWAYS reply in a very timely manner and takes care of our concern IMMEDIATELY... we love kids r kids and we wont hesitate recommending it to our family and friends

I read the reviews on this location and the one on main since we moved to prosper. These reviews where much better than the other location. So me and my husband came to tour it my son has speech therapy which a therapist comes there. His teachers are great they give me great details on everything when he talks a lot and has a major attitude in class. I’m so glad i choose them to look after my son. He has been in 3 different daycares and this is by far the best not to mention the camera and every time i walk its it does not smell like a daycare the front staff directors and all the teachers that i come in contact with are always friendly and will tell you everything in regards to your child which is what i ❤️ i feel that they love my son as he is each of there own and that’s hard to find!!

I cant recommend Legacy West enough! This is the first caregiver since coming to Texas where our kids will actually run into their classroom without saying good-bye. Ms. Karen and our kids teachers and support teachers have been WONDERFUL in truly taking care of our kids needs and understanding that a kid is going to be a kid. They tailor their care for each of them individually with such joy and love. You can tell that they love what they do! Thank you for all that you do!!!!

We have loved having our infant at Kids R Kids Legacy West! He has been a challenging baby, but all members of the staff (not just his teachers) have cared for him and loved him as their own. We love the camera view available for us to check throughout the day. We also love the tadpoles app that sends us pictures, videos, and daily reports each day. These teachers do SO much! We are constantly amazed at the activities that they plan and remember to take pictures of. We truly love that our child is in such great hands when we cant be with him. It makes doing our jobs a bit easier.

Daycare professionals are hard to find and even harder to keep. We’ve been taking our son here since he was 6 months and haven’t regretted it. Their great teachers are only matched by their great administrative staff. They provide parents with live video of all the rooms (you see only the rooms your child is in of course) and a daily report. It takes special people to do this job, we’re very thankful to have discovered Karen and her team!

We love KRK. The director Karen, and Mrs. Sondra are great, they’ve listened to every concern I’ve ever had. They offer Watch Me Grow(camera monitoring) and the teachers are awesome. My daughter also loves the food selections.

Everything on the surface looks good but let me tell you the office staff as well as the employees are absolutely horrible they are abusing kids in the restrooms where the cameras cannot see pinching them underneath the arms. Check under the arms for bruises and ask your child if they have they ever been pinched. Thank you STAY TF AWAY

Im a first time mom and was very scared about leaving my 8 week old in the hands of anyone else other than me! After 1 week I have become a little more relaxed because the the teachers a so great. (Miss Courtney and Gloria) I love that I feel like I can trust them my son as Im very attached to him. I feel like they give him the love and attention he needs daily. I wasnt excited about the teacher child ratio at first but they have it covered! After spending several hours with them in the classroom while Im holding my LO and watching them work... They do such a great job that it doesnt bother me anymore. I love this school and Im excited for my son to stay here as long as possible.

We love Kids R Kids! We moved our daughter here after a not so great experience at another daycare, and it was definitely the right decision.Here’s what stands out the most for us:Staff - Ms. Gloria and Ms. Courtney in Room 100 are absolutely amazing! They’re so loving and upbeat. They don’t just change diapers and warm bottles all day. They actually take time to interact and bond with the babies. The rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming as well. The front office staff is always available and ready to help and the teachers greet EVERYONE, not just the parents of their own students.Structure - The babies participate in daily activities. They’re exposed to different concepts like colors, shapes, textures, etc, they read books, sing, dance and even do art. I was so amused when I my 5 month old finger painting :) And the best part is, you don’t just have to take their word for it. They take pictures of your child participating in these activities and email them to you at the end of each day!Cleanliness - The infant classrooms are always clean and well kept. I appreciate the attention to detail such as requiring shoe covers if walking in the babies’ play area and color coding each child’s bottles to avoid any mishaps.Overall, I’ve found Kids R Kids to be a very safe, clean and positive environment. I’m very happy we decided to send our daughter here. Keep up the good work, Kids R Kids!

I am a former employee at this establishment and although it did not work out with us I have nothing bad to say at all. Ive actually worked at a child care center after I worked at this one and always found myself comparing kids r kids to the other school and the other school came nowhere near how great kids r kids was. Everything from the staff to the parents and the curriculum is just fantastic. My daughter also attended here and LOVED coming to school everyday and LOVED all of her friends.. We have yet to find that in another school. If youre looking for employment or just taking a tour for your kids you would definitely not be disappointed.

This is the absolute BEST daycare in the metroplex. I live in Mckinney, about 20 minutes away from this location, but drive out of my way every morning just to come here because there is no other place i would want my son to attend school. I know he is safe and loved when i drop him off, and that he is learning something new every single day. The curriculum, the activities, the staff, the camera system....literally every single thing this facility offers is SO WORTH every penny spent in tuition.

I wish I could give this school ten stars! My daughter has been enrolled in KRK Legacy West since January and she loves coming to school! The teachers in 500 and faculty are organized, clean, attentive, and communicative! I never worry about not being informed about my daughters day, progress and school activities! LOVE THIS SCHOOL! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

My son has been going to KrK on Legacy since 1st grade. He has now graduated from elementary school and going on to middle school. We will both miss the staff who have cared for him all these years. I never worried for him while in their care. Thank you for always being there for us!

I have been very impressed with the curriculum and structure provided. I feel that my child is learning concepts I didnt learn until much later! The complimentary ABCmouse membership is great and the menu has expanded my childs palette. Not just chicken nuggets and fish sticks...fresh fruits and vegetables and a diverse menu.

This daycare feels like family. My daughter has only been going for 6 weeks, but it feels like we’ve been going for years. She absolutely loves not only the teachers in her suite, but the entire staff. Thank you for taking care of my babies.

From the first time my wife and I stepped foot into Kids R Kids, Legacy West we loved it. From the first greeting of the front desk staff to our son’s classroom teachers, we have been nothing but thrilled with the facility. Our son has been going to Kids R Kids since he was 3 months old. Hard to believe he is now over 10 months already. He is now in his second suit due to his age and we have been very happy with every teacher hes had. We have been notified promptly if there is an issue…fevers, etc. Luckily we haven’t had to be notified, but only a couple of times. All the staff members are friendly and seem to truly enjoy what they do for the children that attend this campus and on that note; the facility itself is well designed for children and is kept very clean too. A huge thing that my wife and I really enjoy is the camera’s that are available to us online. Being first time parent and having to leave our son at daycare was scary at first. Having the ability to login and view how he is doing is definitely a peace of mind that we are thankful for. I will and do recommend Kids R Kids, Legacy West.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! The director of this facility, Karen is awful! She is an absolute liar and will say anything to you during the tour to make you fall in love with the school. I should have gone with my gut feeling after the first week of school in the toddler 2s classroom but I just kept thinking it would get better. To be completely honest, I dont even think the teachers are qualified teachers. Its more of a business than a school. The ratio of teachers to students is a joke also. Karen prides herself on the fact that the classroom meets state regulations for teacher to student ratio but anyone who has dealt with toddlers, knows that you cant have 12 students per teacher!!! There is also no real curriculum. Sure, they have it printed out and posted to a bulletin board, but NO ONE follows it!Please do not send your kids here! They just seriously have kids play and they dont really direct any of the play or have any real purpose for the day. You might as well leave your two year old at home by themselves with a couple of friends and have them play with each other and take care themselves!

To the Mama about to send her child to daycare for the first time- Some of us dont have the luxury to stay home with our kiddos and thats okay. We know that there are many benefits to attending daycare. Still, its not easy to leave your perfect, tiny little human with other people. Mamas I ugly cried for what what seemed like an eternity after the first drop off. Im here to tell you its going to be okay. The staff at KRKs are loving, experienced, stimulative, honest and responsive to all of my childs needs. They made the process 100x easier than I could ever had imagined. They have became family and my son gets excited when we walk in the room and he sees Ms.Dorie and Ms. Gloria. The best part? They have online live feed cameras so you if you are like me, you can watch your baby while you work!

We moved from IL and the teachers at Kids R Kids were very understanding and helped my children adjust. My children have been to 4 different pre-schools in 3 years and Kids R Kids is by far the best! They offer so much that is already included in the tuition (Spanish, Music, etc...). My 5 year old is beyond prepared for Kindergarten and my 3 year old has advanced so much in the few months we have been at Kids R Kids. The facilities are always clean and some of the best Ive seen. The computer lab has an amazing variety of technology, and it keeps them interested in learning. I also like the classes and sports that the school offers. Some have additional fees, but for working parents it can be difficult to get to baseball or football practice after work. I highly recommend Kids R Kids!!

This childcare seems great when you are first toured and introduced, Karen Kepley seems to genuinely care and is a great salesperson, but unfortunately this is all she is. While the owners and management claim they are family oriented, what they truly care about it is the financial performance of their business. I would not recommend this school; be certain to check the state childcare licensing website. Parent beware.

I toured Kids R Kids Legacy West while I was pregnant (along with numerous other schools) and initially chose a different facility because they were slightly cheaper in tuition rates. When I dropped my 8 week old baby off at that facility I immediately knew that I made the wrong choice. After two tearful days I called KRK back and asked for another tour. I went on my lunch break and felt an immediate sense of ease. The teachers were very nice, the administrative staff answered all my questions, and the kids were HAPPY! I was amazed at how the staff knew EVERY childs name as they walked through the lobby and took the time to speak with them and their parents. They were very accommodating and my son started school there the next day. He is now two and a half years old and I cant imagine our lives without KRK! The curriculum is well designed with Spanish and music lessons, along with learning letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc... The staff (teachers and administrative) have always shown an interest in my sons happiness and that means the world to me.I would recommend Kids R Kids to anyone, but especially to new parents who are nervous about leaving their little one. With video access and direct contact information to supervisory staff you will feel completely comfortable with this school.

We are new to the area from out of state. Transitioning my daughter from her previous preschool to Kids R Kids was a breeze. Her first day, she was a little nervous because of all new friends and teachers, but one of the teachers came to her and talked to her about getting to know her new friends, so she was able to go through her first day no problem. Ever since, she wanting to go to her new school. Thanks Kids R Kids!

We currently have two children attending Kids R Kids, and soon to be a third. I have no doubt that our new little one will be taken well care of. Over the years, I’ve been amazed at some of the things that they have learned and demonstrated to us while at the dinner table. They’ve done so well with our oldest child, we couldn’t change schools, even if we wanted to. They certain have a family-like atmosphere, and all of our kids’ previous teachers still know and take an interest in how they’re doing.No school is perfect, and there have been some minor issues we’ve had to address, but the administration is always open and works hard to improve. My only qualm with Kids R Kids is that, possibly due to timing, there have been some rearranging of staff causing some disorganization. Otherwise, I would recommend them to everyone.

Everything at this school is top-notch. The teachers, office staff, cooks, etc... all love their jobs and treat the children like family. Our kids never complain about going to school (which they used to do all the time!). On Saturdays they are upset because they cant go see their teachers and friends. They have so much fun and have learned an incredible amount in the short time they have been at Kids R Kids. They love the playgrounds, splash pad and other amenties that other schools simply do not offer. The field trips in the summer keep them from getting bored. They go to places like the aquarium and Build a Bear. I cant say enough about how great this school is!

Kids to Teacher ratio is too low. They do 5 kids per teacher. Dont let their tricky math fool you.They will argue and say its 4 to 1 or 10 to 2, and its almost always 10 to 2 which equals to 5 to 1.Imagine 1 teacher trying to take care of 5 kids at any given time. The teachers get frustrated and stressed out which results in poor quality of care.Their teachers are also not very experienced. They are low paid, un-educated (non degree-ed) employees.If you care about your kids care quality - skip this place.Everyone is rude once you sign up.

Weve been going to KRK Legacy West for 4 years now and overall were very happy. For infants, they are fantastic. Unlike other centers we toured at the time, they have a room for infants up to 6 mos and another, separate room for babies in the 6-12 month age group so you never have to worry about older, mobile kiddos getting to your younger baby. It was excruciating to hand over my 12-week-old at the time, but it quickly became apparent that he was safe and loved. Same experience later when we had our daughter. The teachers in the infant rooms are wonderful.From infant through pre-K, they keep the kids in very tight age groupings that rarely go beyond 6 months, which has been so good for the kids and very reassuring for us as parents. One of the best teachers Ive ever encountered is in the 20-24 month room. And while I can understand one of the negative reviews regarding the 2-yr-old rooms from 2 years ago, I can say that the 2-yr-old rooms have been turned around with new teachers who are indescribably wonderful. The 2-2.5 yr room is one of their strongest now.Our kids love going to school every day and what they learn is unbelievable. In addition to the usual stuff youd expect like colors, shapes, alphabet, counting, etc. they also have dedicated gym, Spanish, computer, and music classes. There are additional programs available you can sign up for (costs extra), including dance, football, basketball, golf, Fun Bus, etc. Sign language begins in the infant rooms and is integrated in the curriculum all the way through pre-K. They also have a STEAM lab to add focus to the sciences, etc. They even have a water splash pad area the kids can play in during summer. For the 4-yr-olds, theres pre-K and advanced pre-K, which actually has a Kindergarten curriculum. Our son just started that program and he is flourishing; hes writing and beginning to learn sight words--something I wouldnt have ever expected for a 4-yr-old.The school has web cams in every room, so you can always log in and watch what your kids are doing. Something else Im impressed with is their menu--they have impressive variety and really offer some healthful choices for the kids. Every meal has alternatives for those who prefer no red meat or who prefer vegetarian offerings. Its not just pizza, burgers, and fries every couple of days.Above all else, we truly feel that our kids are safe and that they are loved here. Most of their teachers shower them with hugs, comfort, and smiles, and they allow them to stretch out and just be kids.Over the course of 4 years, weve had concerns and challenges pop up, and weve always felt that administration is incredibly open and receptive (even encouraging for parents to come talk and provide feedback). Theyre always available and theyve always heard us out. We didnt always get the outcome we were hoping for, but there has always been an appropriate response and action when needed.Were very thankful we found KRK--really cant imagine our kids ever going somewhere else. If youre seeking a clean, safe, warm and loving place for your kiddos, take the tour here--its worth your time!

My daughter has been going to KRK for almost 3 years now and will be graduating this spring. Before deciding on KRK I looked into 3 other schools and even while at KRK I looked into another school just to compare where she was versus where another school was, and I still decided this was the best school for her and for us as a family. Some of the reasons why I selected KRK is because I loved the caring, nurturing and educated staff. There is at least one teacher that is certified in each classroom, the kids are not in just one classroom all day long they go to the cafeteria and also the library which has a lot of technology, the amount of glass in the hallways and windows is amazing (proven to help with learning), there are cameras everywhere, the activities they have along with a spray park outside, plus the snow cone man comes....what kid doesnt love that. In all the years weve been there if anything has come up as a concern weve sat down as a team to discuss (it takes a team to raise a child), and most of the time it was about my daughter needing to move up to the next class. Ive enjoyed the staff there and my daughter loves going to preschool there. I would definitely recommend this preschool.

So first off, wow the review from Ms. Pillai is inaccurate. My son started in Room 300 which is the 2 yr old room. I will admit that I had some reservations 2 years ago. It seemed as if every time I started to get to know a teacher they were let go. I did address my concerns to Ms. Karen and yes she told me what I wanted to hear but she wasnt blowing smoke up my @ss. She isnt a liar. Its a difficult room to find good teachers. And she said just to be patient for a bit longer and they did find someone. Ms. Mari is awesome and I am offended that anyone would say anything bad about her. When my son moved up to the next classroom, he cried to stay with her. And the teachers in his current room 450 are just as amazing. But it isnt their job to teach my child. It is mine. They give me the tools to practice what they have worked on in school because at his age...it isnt school, its daycare. A place I put him to have fun and be around kids his own age, and to play with all the stuff that I think is too messy for my own house. :) Anything he might learn from his days at school is just an added bonus. So qualified or credited teachers, whatever. All I want is for my child to be loved and taken care of. Most of all I ask for patience, because my son can try the patience of a Saint. Thats right, I said MY SON IS NOT PERFECT. And I am grateful for his teachers who give him hugs every morning that they see him and tell him they love him because that IS the KRK philosophy. My youngest son is about to start again next month after a brief stint with Grandma and is going to be with Ms. Memoryin Rm 200. She watched my oldest at her house for 2 years prior to him going to school and she is such a sweet person. Im excited she is there to take on my youngest!There are so many things to love about KRK. Ms Karen, Ms Lisa and Mr Preston are wonderful people. They have a lot to deal with on a daily basis and I have never felt like I am wasting my time when I talk to them or addressing a concern I have with my children. And again, I have been told what I wanted to hear, that it will be taken care of. And it has always been taken care of. The afternoon extra curriculum activities are great. Funbus, Soccer and Football are amazing and my son cannot stop talking enough about it. The cameras are great too - I can check in to make sure my little men are good and the Splash Pad during summer is so fun. I highly recommend this place and I did look at other schools as well but my husband and I agreed that KRK and the teachers there were like an extension of family and home.

I have four children at KRK West Frisco. One is now in the After-School Program, One is in APK, and my twins are now in a toddler room. The girls have been going there for almost 2 years now and there is not a day that I am not thankful for the people that work and operate the facility. We spent a lot of time trying to decide which school would be the best for the girls, and are so happy with our decision. Our now 7 year old has special needs and they were more than accommodating...the teachers actually got her to come out of her shell and become active in the class. The 5 year old is very intelligent and thrives when she is challenged. The curriculum has done that for her. She has learned so much from being in the care of the amazing teachers that she has had, both in past classes and in the current APK room. The twins have allowed us to be exposed to many different rooms and teachers. They started in the infant room and have moved up and each room has presented new curriculum and learning opportunities for the girls. When you watch on the cameras (another feature I LOVE), you may not think they are learning because they are having fun; however, they are learning so much and having fun doing it! They come home and tell me all the amazing things they have learned. The teachers in the room they are in now as well as the ones they have been in before have such a passion for the kids and their well-being. Each teacher brings a different skill set and experience to our children. The school has also participated in continuing education and CDA for the teachers which is an incredible asset. Our girls have been in daycare before and the environment and curriculum were entirely different. KRK is a school for all the ages and they teach the kids in ways that are appropriate to their ages. It has been a blessing and I am so excited that we will continue to have this place as a second home for our babies for many more years to come. Thank you to Karen, directors, and ALL the teachers for not only loving our children but for partnering with us to prepare them for the future.
