Very chill place for familys and kids. Balance between hard activities and easier activities where good. The schedule was very flexible.

We have been with McClellans Taekwondo Academy from the beginning. I have 3 girls in the program and my wife and I take martial arts there as well. It is a very family friendly place. Miss M really puts everything she has behind those students. She is involved in each of her students success. It is an amazing place to learn and be a part of.

We love McClellan’s Taekwondo; what an amazing family! Miss M and all the instructors are amazing! It is a great all around experience; not only has it been great exercise and activity for our son, but they have amazing character building. It has really helped provide a safe and nurturing environment, outside our home, for our son to experience challenges, defeat, and success; helping him to work at building persistence and grit.

We absolutely love McClellan’s Taekwondo Academy!!! We’ve only been attending for a few months but really enjoy how it’s a family based school. My son loves learning all the new Taekwondo moves and I do believe it’s helping him gain confidence as well as respect towards others. And I can’t forget to mention the wonderful friendly and warm-hearted instructors and staff!!!

My children absolutely love this martial arts school. I myself am recently a student so we are able to do this together as a family. Health and safety are number one priorities this school. They focus on building character, and overall improvement of the student. I highly recommend this Taekwondo academy if youre looking to get into the martial arts or want to get back in!!!

My kids love McClellan’s Taekwondo! It’s been so good for them to gain confidence and they’ve been better about showing respect. The instructors are absolutely wonderful with the kids and have my back as a parent 100%.

Our son has been attending McClellan’s for going on five years. He started as a squirmy little ninja and has stuck with it to now be a 2nd degree black belt as well as an instructor. Most amazing experience! My 4 year loves his new karate class, little ninjas. The instructors are great with kids and great at keeping them engaged in learning. We did the 2 month program for unlimited classes for only $99 total. The most reasonably priced karate in gahanna.

Fantastic instructors! We take classes as adults and the kids program is terrific. The owner is a former elementary school teacher and it shows in how she interacts with her students. Highly recommend it if you are looking into martial arts in the Gahanna/New Albany area.

Great school with great people. The McClellans are steadfast in their approach to the art and yet loving in how to deliver the message and lessons. They are awesome and I recommend them often. As a Master myself, I would enroll my son or daughter...oops, my grandson or grand daughter... there without hesitation. When my triplet boys started taking taekwondo 7 years ago, when they were 5 years old, Christie McCllelan was one of their instructors. There was immediate rapport and respect between all of them. Christie has an AMAZING understanding and relationship with kids and adults of all ages. Her approach to martial arts and to her students is top notch! Ms. McClellan was my daughter’s first instructor and experience with TKD and helped pull her out of her shell as a white belt. She’s now a second degree black belt! All the McClellans are great instructors and I’d highly recommend them to any family/child/adult! I know they are also active in and give back to the community. Great with kids!

My son began taking classes in August just after they opened. He had taken a Taekwondo class previously, but my wife and I immediately saw that that this was a much different and better environment to develop his skills. But, not only is he learning Taekwondo, he is learning respect, self-discipline, and character. If all that wasn’t enough, I decided to take a chance and started taking classes myself.
