A great way to relax and have fun creating art. Recent phone was upsetting as the lady on the phone was very rude. I simply told her that her website was difficult to find. She also stated that they dont have time to call people if they forget to pick up items even though her competition can do it. So remember to pick your items in a timely manner or they will be thrown away and no refunds. I am sad to have to change my review but customer service is everything to me.

Just had my daughter’s 7 birthday party here and it was perfect!! The woman working was extremely helpful and the kids had a great time! You defiantly get your money’s worth (which wasn’t even that much money!) and I would HIGHLY recommend them for birthday parties or even to just drop and have an art day!

I went to Do Art over winter break with my 3 year old and my 1 year old. My 1 year old would not stop crying (later found she had an ear infection). The staff was super friendly, set up a high chair for her, brought out toys for her to play with and helped my 3 year old paint mugs for his grandparents. When we went to leave, my 3 year old didnt want to! He pitched a fit, while I was wearing my screaming baby. I was exhausted and losing my cool. The staff calmed my son by giving him a little Santa he could take home with him and paint when he came back. He was instantly happy! Who knew a little Santa figurine would save the day! Not to mention, the staff made sure our items were fired in time for Christmas, when we were way past the due date on their door. They were so patient and accommodating with my hot mess of a family. Thank you Do Art! Well be back!

Went with my daughter and granddaughters for a special treat for the girls. They were in Gainesville visiting from South America, and were leaving in a little more than a week.The good: Do Art had quite a few item choices for painting, and a decent number of glaze colors to choose from. Prices were reasonable. The staff was nice, if only slightly helpful.The bad: They neglected to tell us until after we had painted our pieces that the kiln was broken and would take at least two weeks to fire. My family had to leave pieces here when they left, including a birthday plate for my grandson, who will pass his birthday before they can get it. We were promised that ours would be in the first firing, but this did not happen. My granddaughter painted her piece only to find out the glaze was mismarked, and was not the color she chose. The paint brushes and fine line tips were very poorly maintained and made it hard to paint well.Generally a nice time, but poor communication and mistakes made it a very disappointing event.

My daughter lily went there this week for summer school and loved it. Matt is a great kind guy and the other lady a kind nice Artist. The new management seems to be like a local family oriented team and you will love it here.

Love it here! Great variety of pottery to choose from, nice people who offer help, and relaxed environment to be creative in. Wish they had evening hours so I could go more often after work or on weekend nights - I’d be there all the time!

We have been several times and have had a GREAT experience every time. They are always kind, helpful and offer a fun variety of creative options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is very sad,,,,, The Do Art of the past is gone! The selection of items to paint is at a complete minimum - the shelves are empty, the glazes are out of stock. Also the shop makes up there own times to be open. It is hard to set a date with fiends and we show up.... and they are closed. :(

This is a difficult review to write. Years ago, we frequented Do Art and had both a great time as well as quality fired and glazed pieces. But now we pick up pieces that are half glazed, parts that are lightly glazed and a very low quality of finish. They need to check their work and ensure a quality layer of glaze before firing.

Had a groupon for their couples painting class. We did have a good time and the painting came out pretty nicely, they make it really easy for you to follow along and seem knowledgeable. Overall I would like to go back sometime soon and try my hand at a different painting. I would recommend for a fun date night.

I love coming to Do Art! Its always fun and they have things for all ages! Cant wait til the next Diva Night!!

This place is great the staff helps you out explains how to paint or do tile work. My friends and I spent Friday evening here and we were so engrossed in our art that we didnt notice the time, but the staff never rushed us and stayed open till we were done!

Really cool place... hard to find spots like this!

Decent selection of items to glaze, would suggest making sure you have time due to the nature of the business they can usually only have one employee working but all in all a good experience

Do Art is an awesome and friendly place to hang out, paint your own pottery and catch up with friends. Something different than the usual movie or date, Ive always had a lot of fun there.

So I went Yesterday with my Daughter and boyfriend. She says that she is Co-Owner and I have not gone in so... long we decided to go to make a present as a birthday present. Last time that My daughter and I were there it was amazing. Sadly to say that this time was not the case. We were there and the lady seemed frazzled. She was very vocal about her current situations, mood, and everything else that seemed to bother her. Our first impression was of her freaking out that her phone was not put on the charger the night before and was now dead, and the Stupid AT&T was not allowing her calls to be forwarded onto her cell phone. She than was talking to the sorority group of girls who was ordering a project for their entire fraternity of 80 girls, and started to freak out because she did not have enough material and they were discontinuing the product that they were using. She than decided to say When I die and you come to my funeral, please tell ppl that this is not my fault. Also she kept asking them if they have meds for the stress that she was under. I was trying to distract my small child who has had someone very close to her die so anytime someone brings up death she brings her dad up. This woman could not get her act together. I finally had enough and confronted the woman. I told her I know she may be going through allot right now but she needed to get her act together and stop acting inappropriate in front of my child.She looked shocked and like she was not in the wrong. Soon she started to blare her Christian music as if to make up for all the curse words and the situation. Later I had to take a phone call outside and my daughter and boyfriend were left inside and she started to bad mouth me to the very young college students. If my daughter wasnt so keen on making her grandfather a mug I would have taken my child and walked out. I have never seen such a lack of customer service and someone so unprofessional as much as this woman. This is or WAS a family atmosphere, but sadly the previous owners are no longer here and it has gone SOOOOO far downhill. I would suggest that you do not bring a child here.

Unfortunately, Ive had to lower my review. I had a great time painting but have been by a couple of times to pick up my pieces when the website said they were open and they are closed every time :( it a 45 min drive for me

Reserved space for my class and went to the studio and no one was there. I paid the $50.00 reservation and have yet to reach someone about a refund for no service rendered. The children were very disappointed and had been looking forward to going all week but were no able to. This is the second time Ive tried them and both times I was disappointed. Never again.
