Would not recommend for lessons. Definitely would not recommend the membership plan. It is a monthly membership fee ($300) and to cancel you are required to give 30 days notice. This means no matter when you cancel, you will have to pay for another month. Not worth the minor savings.My daughters lessons started out well but then her teacher left and she never connected with the replacement teachers. She also felt ignored as she got ready for lessons.Other reviewers, going back several years, mentioned high staff turnover. I can confirm this. We had lessons there for 9 months and basically everyone who was there when we started is now gone.Do not waste your time and money.

I had a pony party for my 8 year old and she absolutely loved it the owner was very patient with us as far as Time and let us do anything we needed to have a great time. This is a must do if your little one loves horses!!

My kid loves it here. They say it is one of their safe spaces. I think its because, unlike (middle) school, its a place with no expectations - just lessons, volunteering, classes, and other events with kind instructors, great horses, and the friends theyve made along the way. The owner, instructors, and other employees also never get irritated at me - just the mom - for spending as much time as I can hanging out with the horses!

Well kept space, the entire area is purpose built for horses as intended. Be mindful of the entry and exit road as it is a single lane road with two choke points over 200ft. The parking area does open up for 8 to 10 vehicles. Just be aware of any other moving vehicles as that roadway area is confined.

This is a MUST GO!!!! For a cheap amount you get the perfect equine experience, then you get treated with charcuterie and wine and the most welcoming family environment found anywhere in Gainesville. This is not just a place to go check out, this makes my MUST DO! list. I will do this many times over and take new friends every time! These are the nicest most professional kind people you would ever want to meet. The horses are VERY well trained and laid back. These horses are very gentle and good tempered. Even if youve never been exposed to horses THIS is the place to go to learn. Spend the money and visit this epic date night location.

Hi I’m Adrianna Viti I personally think this farm deserves all five stars! I have had the pleasure of working with Regina and her husband maricio for about 7-8 months so far and I can honestly say it’s been the best months of my life! Regina is a boss who you can go to and she always is one to help you out! She will go above and beyond to help you out! Her husband maricio is an AMAZING guy he’s so nice and is always willing to give you a helping hand! I have been personally trained by both Maricio and Regina and are super nice and don’t get angry if you make a mistake instead they just hope that you will improve and not the make the mistake. They both told me it’s OK to make mistakes just as long as I learn from it and try not to make the same mistake over and over agian. They are the proud owner of 3 farms and I have had the personal pleasure of working at all three farms and it’s been an amazing experience! I have worked both part time and full time for them both and it’s been a life changer! They have taught me so much and because of them I found out I was on the right career path and that working with animals is something I want to do! If you want to apply here I STRONGLY encourage it! Don’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes! This farm is a safe space for me and I truly look forward to coming to work for them each and every time! If you have a passion for animals and love animals this farm will be an amazing place for you!

The wife and I visited Haile Equestrian on Wednesday afternoon around 3pm to say hello and feed the horses some apples. All of them were friendly and hungry for apples. We had just enough apples to share with the ones in the stalls and 2 from a nearby field. The owner Regina was very accommodating and welcomed us back when the weather is nicer. We wouldve done a casual ride if it wasnt raining🌧The horses that we met and fed seemed to be well-taken care of, although the larger ones in the stalls seemed like they could use some running time in the fields. Several girls were doing their equestrian training while we were there so expect a crowded parking lot at any given time.

We started bringing our daughter here during the summer since her camping plans were canceled due to COVID-19 and she loves it! There really wasn’t any doubt since she is Horse 🐴 crazy since she could talk😊😊😆😆. We lover her riding instructor Emily. Mrs. Regina the owner is amazing 😉 I can’t say enough positive things about Haile Equstreian Center. The Horses 🐴 are all well tempered and sweet😊😊

The best the horses and staff were incredible

I first scheduled a group lesson with my friend there. Warning sign number 1 - we show up and are told nobody could lesson us despite earlier confirmation. At least the owner apologized. Warning sign number 2 - my friend and I are hunter jumper riders and did no actual jumping in our lesson. I thought, oh well, maybe this trainer just isn’t suited for that. I schedule a private lesson in which I only walk and trot this pony and receive two critiques throughout the entire lesson; my trainer spent the rest talking and gossiping with the other trainer. At that point, I should’ve been the one getting paid for working the horse, not the other way around. Do not go here if you are an intermediate/experienced rider - you’ll waste your money and time like I did.

I just had my first lesson with Kayla after years of being out of the saddle. She is so patient and kind. Jewel was a sweetheart and loved having her belly scratched.

Now, I am most definitely not an equestrian, but I love Haile Equestrian. The owners are nice people, and are willing to work with anyone needing lessons from beginner to the more advanced rider. Nice big pastures that horses can be turned out in, and located just off of a high trafficked main road. Horses are fed and watered regularly, and they mostly seem to be very friendly horses. Ive got my favorites that I just go visit sometimes and they are like big strong giant doggos, but I digress. Worth a visit to feel it out for yourself!

I absolutely love riding and boarding my horse at Haile. They take great care of my horse and the lesson horses. The owner and staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable! Great instructors who can teach beginners through advanced riders.

A wide variety of horses for lessons that range from dead beginner to jumping and dressage. There is also a new string of young warmbloods being bred and produced! Exciting place to be a part of and such a nice staff and group of riders. Love love love this place, especially the new lights in the jumping arena for night time lessons and riding!!

Safe horses and friendly staff. We live out of town, but every time we come to visit everyone wants to go for a horseback ride there. Its not a trail riding place, but its safe and very fun. If you go there to ride or visit, take carrots and the horses will love you.

Rode here for month or so and just walked and barely trotted. I have ridden most of my life. I’m old now but I’m not decrepit! The facility was nice and the trainer was nice but didn’t get much out of it.

The kids can’t get enough of the camps at Haile. They would spend all summer there if we let them, they never get tired of their horsey time.

This place is great! Friendly volunteers. The owner is very nice and the trainers really care about the horse and rider. Great volunteer program and childrens camps and birthday parties. You can visit and feed the horses too!

This place is great. I boarded my horses at Haile my senior year at UF. Its the closest farm I found to campus and allowed me to get over there to ride between classes. My horses received excellent care in a beautiful barn, they have tack lockers for equipment, and the facilities are great. I loved it and so did my horses.

Love this place! I have been taking lessons and leasing a horse here since they opened in Haile and couldnt be happier. Wonderful, safe horses and everyone is very nice!

There are much better places to board your horse and take lessons at in Gainesville. This is not the place to do so. For brand new beginners it would be fine but as soon as you get the basics it’s not for you. I agree that most of the horses need to be retired and there are way too many horses on this farm. This farm also sits in a “storm water rentention” zone so with very little rain the whole place is flooded under water and all of the horses are standing in a field full of mud knee deep. On top of that the environment and people are not very nice to be around. Extremely judgmental there. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Agree with Ally, not for experienced riders, facilities for the lesson horses leave a lot to be desired. A shame that they come up the most when you try to find a barn around here, they really dont deserve that business. The trainers are usually very nice but Ive found they have a huge turnover for both trainers and volunteers.

There are too many horses for such a small property. Some of the horses there look like they just need to be retired. This place is more aimed at those who have little to no horse experience at all. Definitely not for an experienced rider. Watching some of the riders who seem to be more experienced is kind of a nightmare. They let these riders jump when they have no lower leg stability. What happened to keeping heels down and toes pointed straight, not sideways.......Not impressed at all. Where did the days go when trainers wouldnt even let you jump unless you could ride without stirrups and have a nice, strong lower leg. The atmosphere isnt very friendly either.

The owner and staff of this facility have a lot of improvements to make. The horses work 2+ hours per day and they are mostly very old. Most of the horses should be retired. Not recommended.

Ive been taking lessons with Haile Equestrian for a few months now, and its been a fabulous experience. Im definitely a novice, but my instructor Marissa has been AMAZING - and the staff (and patrons) have all been incredibly welcoming and friendly.Of course there can be a little bit of traffic now and then, when there are a lot of people and large animals coming in and out of the barn - but the grounds are beautiful, the facility is very clean, and the staff seem to pay careful attention to whats going on with each and every horse and rider.Scheduling is easy, and the team has been very accommodating when Ive had to make changes. I could not be happier with my experience so far, and I look forward to more work with this lovely facility!
