This is my Happy Place! I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to come to this studio whether you have some dance experience or you have no dance experience you will be so happy you did! I cannot say enough good things about this studio and all the fun and amazing instructors.

Wonderful teachers who foster a great learning environment and make the dances easy to understand. We previously had tried another dance studio but didnt really enjoy it because it was quite snooty feeling. However, this studio is different. There are people of all different ages and talents/skills. The lessons are a good pace and there are a variety of options in the schedule. Additionally, 10/10 would recommend Hugo who helped us with our wedding dance. We always had a blast with him and really enjoyed working with him.

Super friendly team and members, and very welcoming to first timers. Definitely check out their free open houses if youre on the fence, itll be well worth your time 💃

If one really wants to learn to dance this is the place! Clive and his team of dance teachers are knowledgeable, experienced and very enthusiastic about ensuring that a newcomer (beginner) dancer learns to dance and has a pleasant experience while learning! The pace of leaning can be slow or fast, according to need and without pressure. Also the whole atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable. I love Arthur Murray in Gaithersburg. I started taking dance lessons elsewhere with an intro package. It was fun but when our several week package ended we decided to look around. As soon as we walked in it was like light and day compared to the other place, literally. The atmosphere is energized. Everyone was so happy. The students are awesome, very friendly and welcoming. I love all of the teachers also. Clive was our first teacher. We also take lessons with Christina and David. They are all encouraging and professional. Love my dance family.

Lindsay is a wonderful instructor! She is patient, positive and attentive. We are having a great time and will be signing up for additional lessons. The entire group is friendly and make you feel comfortable learning new steps. I would recommend this group to anyone interested in dancing - the novice and the experienced dancer.

The staff, instructors and students are warm and friendly. The instructors make everything do-able. For someone who didnt dance until I arrived at Arthur Murray in my mid-forties, that was very important. So much fun. Great socials to practice what weve learned. The students are supportive of one another. I can no longer imagine a life without dance.

My wife and I have been students for six years and are absolutely convinced that there is a huge difference between Arthur Murray and other ways to learn. We have a great deal of fun with our friends there but we are also learning proper technique and style. We love our team there - GO GAITHERSBURG!

Arthur Murray Gaithersburg has warm, cheerful staff, a family-like community, and can teach anyone the joy of dancing. They are much better organized, and more reliable about their lessons than other local dance studios. We have been dancing enthusiastically with Arthur Murray for 8 years. Very highly recommended

Really wonderful group! We had 2 private lessons and 2 group lessons. We were last minute for our wedding, but they really helped us pull it off... even slowing down our music so we could waltz to it easier!

We have been taking lessons since the summer. The instructors are highly skilled, very patient and the studios atmosphere is warm and welcoming. When we go to Arthur Murray in Gaithersburg we fell like members of the family!

Arthur Murray Gburg is nothing short of AMAZING. Everyone is friendly and happy, they LOVE what they do, and they are super talented. The way they can move is just incredible! I think the best thing about this studio is their ability to teach. No one feels dumb or incapable. No one feels like theyre not good enough. The staff here teaches with so much patience, kindness, empathy, and encouragement. They really want to see everyone succeed and break out of their comfort zones! My husband and I had no previous dance experience and we took lessons here for 10 months (during our engagement) to perform a salsa/Argentine tango medley, and our friends and family are still talking about the dance nine months later! Our private lesson teacher, Nick, really did the most to ensure our dance was perfect. He even taught us ways we could recover and play it off if we missed a step or got out of sync. This truly came in handy on our big day when the song finished before we were done and we had to quickly pull off a move to end it on time—something Nick really prepared us for! It wasnt awkward at all and NO ONE knew we messed up! The worst part about AMG was having to leave! If we lived closer and had more play money, we would still be taking lessons every week. Thats another thing: dance is an expensive hobby. If you go and check out their prices, you might find it expensive. But I can honestly say, from our experience, this studio is incredible and you really get what you pay for. The dance knowledge and experience we now have has been huge for us at every wedding and party weve been to since. While other people are just swaying and bobbing, we are really dancing with real steps and moves that we can do to any song! Seriously, this was one of the best investments weve ever made and we often talk about going back when its more convenient for us. Dont settle. Go to AMG! Go Gaithersburg!

It so much fun. I love dancing.

Lots of private lessons because that is what we preferred but needless to say a lot of money spent but not much learned. Arthur Murray will push you to join their group lessons but dont seem to understand that some people are just not comfortable learning in a group. We wont be needing the dance shoes that we bought since we still cant dance! We felt like we were pushed through lessons before we actually learned them.
