This place doesnt deserve 5 stars. There are teachers that are not fully educated to teach our children. They severely lack communication especially among their own peers. A director that doesnt direct in the correct manner. Defending friend employees rather than the children. Numerous times theyve had to be told what to do & not to do but yet they dont care. My childs belongings are always missing & staff has no clue where it may have gone. My child always has a rash at the middle of the week & end of the week which I have to make better for the next week. Ive calmly expressed my concerns & opinions but still no change. Its sad that people think this is a good place. These people are not fit to care of these children. Sadly, Gallup doesnt have many other options for child care. CYFD needs to reconsider funding this fly trap. Or maybe a new director that has more concern for our children rather than looking forward to just a pay check and friends. Maybe im the only person who actually cares about her children enough to fight for them & not let people like this walk all over them. Incidents are occurring more & more often.

When I can, I like to go to the school to check on my child. My child is always happy and all of the teachers are very kind and helpful. Except for one. I have noticed that the woman in the room for 2-3 year olds is very mean. She starts her day by snapping at the kids and ends her day by yelling at them. She rushes the children to eat their food and if they dont eat fast enough, she throws it away. I feel bad for any parent who has a child in that class. It seems to me like she hates working with children.
