While we are from Iowa, my son’s dream is to be a surfer. I was able to secure surf lessons for him and my two daughters - at the last minute no less - through C Sick Surf School. Brian was awesome to work with! He got back to me right away and gave very detailed directions for the lesson to be a success.When we showed up, Brian explained that Susan would be in the water taking pictures of the kids actually surfing and we could purchase them for $10 per kid. Susan was a PRO!! She took over 150 pictures and emailed them all to me by the afternoon for $30!!! This was the best money spent!There were a total of 4 kids at the lesson and Brian had himself and two other workers in the water helping teach. My son got to work individually with Brian who showed incredible patience and positive vibes the whole time! The other worker with my girls had them up on the board in no time. For $50 per person for 2 hours of surfing and learning - this was an incredible deal.This experience was worth every penny and something these Iowa kiddos will always remember. C Sick is Amazing! Had surfing lessons for the first time for my 30th birthday. We had it in no time. Brian, Dustin, and Mike are the coolest guys. Love C Sick! We will definitely be back. Best day ever! :)

We take a lesson every summer with C-Sick Surfin Lessons just to refresh our surf legs. My 13yo daughter loves surf lessons here and has taken one every year since she was about 7. I started three years ago. And this year we introduced a friend. I can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone should try surfing at least once, and this is a great place to do it!

My 9-year-old daughter was interested in surfing, so we found this super cool place on Yelp and took a trip to Galveston. We were not disappointed! Brian set everything up for us and he was at the beach to give us a little intro. Then Autumn took over with the lesson. She was fantastic! She also happens to be a first grade school teacher, so that was a big plus. My daughter absolutely loved her. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back. C-Sick Surfin for the WIN!

I thought you wouldnt be able to surf because the waves are kinda small but they taught my kids how to surf. I watched it happen before my eyes.

These guys are amazing! We had so much fun as a family. They had my daughter surfing like a pro! I had the time of my life, even though I only stood on the board 3 times.. I am a horrible student and they were patient with me and made the experience so fun. Definitely recommend and I will be signing up again.

Surfing has been a dream of mine since I saw Point Break when I was younger. Brian and Mike were able to make that a reality for me with a 2 hour lesson. With what I learned I was able to rent a board and surf on my own for the other 2 days I was down in Galveston. The rest of the students were children and they seemed to be having a blast with the two instructors teaching them. Highly recommend booking a lesson with them. I’ll be booking another lesson in a few months myself.

My wife and I took surfing lesson from C-Sick Surfing during our honeymoon and had a blast. We were up and surfing very quickly and by the end of the lesson felt very confident we could successful surf on our own. Our instructor was so kind, encouraging, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I highly recommend!

I had my 1st surf lesson by Mike, He is very experienced trainer and gave me clear instructions from zero. I could repeat several trials for standup and did it finally, I would suggest to get his lesson if you want to standup during surfing. I am sure I come back for improvement!

Just called to ask about swimming with dolphins but was missed informed by someone else and the owner got extremely mad cussed me out then hung up in my face. This guy is extremely unprofessional and obviously has anger issues. Too bad he didnt get to see who he was screaming at.

Brian was amazing! I honestly struggled, but he was patient and continued to work with me until I was up and surfing! Had a blast!

I took 5 boys, ages 8 to 11, to Brian for surf lessons while on vacation in Galveston. Brian was great with all the boys and they had a blast! Three of the boys were up on their boards after the initial beach instruction and surfing in no time. Two of the boys struggled initially and Brian brought them back to the beach to give them more instruction. After going back out, they too were able to start surfing. It was a great experience and several of the boys are insisting we rent surf boards for the rest of our stay!

Everything about the two hours was great. Justin, our instructor, was patient, gave great coaching tips, and made the day cool. I got up for the first time within 15-20 minutes. After that, I am hooked! If you’re in the Houston or Galveston area don’t forget there’s surfing nearby. C-Sick was cool about everything and I’m excited to see the pictures from it.

Contacted them for a lesson and had great email communication about everything. Had a brief lesson on the shore before hitting the waves. BrIan and his instructors were fantastic. Had us all up and going in no time. Highly recommended

I have never tried surfing before. My luck - I contacted Brian first. They helped me a lot. They are not only teaching you, they try their best to make you love surfing. I will return surfing with Brian soon. Thank you, guys.

My son had a GREAT time and was up surfing within 5 minutes. Great people and great rates. The lady they have take pics was AWESOME and got GREAT shots.

The Best 2 hour Surf Lesson on the Island!We loved it...SO did the other 3 ladies I was with!

My husband and 12 yr old had their first lesson last week...and it was great!!!! I couldnt believe the price- $50per person for 2 hrs and only $20 for around 50 amazing pics in the water!! Our instructor was Dustin and he had my guys riding waves within an hour (I didnt think theyd even get to standing on the board in the water lol). Brian, the owner-operator, was super persobable, communicative, professional, and accomodating! The photographer gets in the water with them and takes amazing pics! They really made our weekend getaway special. HIghly recommend !!!
