So My wife and I decided to give this place a chance, despite the other reviews we read. We did a tour of facility and like the openness, curriculum and separation of age groups. We had a bad experience from another preschool. Cramped conditions and over rated day care. We wanted a preschool, that had a curriculum. We have been pleasantly surprised. Staff has been welcoming. We receive daily updates of our child through a portal. After speaking with my daughter about her experience there, I am convinced we made a good choice. She enjoys all the activities, teacher, students and meals. Everyday she is excited and does not want to be late to school. :) This place so far has been head and shoulders compared to our last place. I cant speak on 3 months ago, but I can only share what I am personally experiencing with my child. Keep up the great work River Academy. This parent appreciates it and is taking notice.

Originally I gave them a 5 star review, however after having my daughter attend there for 5 months the quality and attitudes of employees went down. Anytime I let them know about something that I noticed or was concerned with I got attitudes or it wasnt our fault..and lets be honest daycare is way too expensive to put up with that. I understood that they had new employees and that some may have needed a little more training, but I never gave them attitudes about the situations or pointed fingers..I just wanted to bring it to their attention. This is why I changed my rating and I left the original post on here so people can see that as well.Original 5 star review: The employees are friendly, helpful and professional. The whole facility is clean and has age appropriate toys in the separate rooms. My 11 month old enjoyed her first day and didnt even notice that I was leaving. Everyone also makes you feel like youre at home. Glad I chose this daycare for my daughter!

I can’t believe a place with that many violations is still allowed to be open!The amount of “incidence” reports on my children is frightening they should call it what it is “nobody paying attention to the children”Them setting up a tiny tablet for the kids to watch all day in complete nonsense that isn’t in anyway a “learning” tool it’s their way of avoiding actual interaction with the precious kids there.They’re never able to track my kids belongings they never seem to do what’s right for the children. That place is a filthy mess I urge you to keep your loved ones far away!

Great staff who love to learn and teach! They care about the whole child and I love how they communicate throughout the day so I know my babies are doing good!

My son attended part-time in the infant and one’s room at River Academy and we loved it. If you are looking for a place where your child will be loved, well-taken care of, and you can communicate effectively will all staff, then this is your place! They are always doing activities and teaching them new things! When my son came home and starting singing to me “more please” I was ecstatic. I was even more ecstatic when I found out they were teaching him the alphabet, already! We only experienced one injury (a bite from a classmate) but it never happened again. There was one kiddo who was struggling behaviorally, but they quickly worked with the child and parents to correct the behavior. We had to leave due to a move and feel nothing but regret as we struggle to find anything that compares. I would pay double for the quality care we had at River!

My two-year-old daughter goes to River Academy Preschool in Eagle two times a week and has been there for six months. My daughter was home with me prior to bringing her to a preschool so I was VERY nervous and uneasy about the whole thing. The staff has made me feel at ease each step of the way. They welcome my (sometimes numerous) check up calls. The teachers are caring and I completely trust my child with them and anyone else under their roof. The location is new and amazing and bright. Their outdoor equipment is so fun! Go tour any time to see for yourself.

If your looking for a place that is safe, loving and caring this is the spot! My kids have been here for almost a year and they love the staff.

River Academy made false claims that my child had HSV. He never tested positive and this was proven from our pediatrician at St Luke’s. Now my child has to be uprooted from a school at 18 months old. This is poor judgement and disgusting action on their part. They also have kept a child at the school that has tested positive for HSV! Very disappointing.

I am a grandmother and was helping my daughter to take her son there, so when I picked him, this was very interesting day care. They were naping with the music so loud I was very concerned and I asked them why is it so loud, they said to drown out the noise outside. Well there was nothing going on outside. I asked them to turn it down but they refused. Ok then another time I picked him up there was a little girl sitting in those cubby chairs in the dark looking at a book. So i said wouldnt that hurt her eyes? They ignored me. Now I am very concerned and told my daughter. Then other incidents here and there. I advise parents to go in during their nap time to observe. Its the youngest age group. My grandson is 17 months old. Then they gave the wrong shoes once and my daughter confronted them on a few other incidents and the one young girl that work there started to cry and I heard my daughter on the phone and she was talking very nice and was worried because there was a bruise on him and the young worker said nope it happened at your house. So this young worker crys and got my daughter kicked out of daycare. Wow, as a business owner I am, this is not professional. Shame on them. I will spread the word too.
