Pros:1. The catechism, Bible, and other Catholic works are studied everyday.2. Every subject is taught from a deeply Traditional Catholic position.3. Monday - Thursday school rosary at 10:15am.4. Friday school Mass (which the boys are taught to serve) at 8am.5. Traditional teaching methods of memorization are prioritized-no common core.6. Small class sizes and small teacher to student ratio.7. Challenging curriculum.8. Students encouraged to learn why they are taught things and how to defend their beliefs. This is particularly true in religion.Cons:1. School cannot cater to special needs students.2. Modern technological methods of teaching are lacking.3. Most years lack sports’ teams.4. Very few if any electives.5. No true music program; however, students are taught hymns which they sing in Mass.I graduated from Padre Pio after 12 years and I can say that PPA is a wonderful school. Even though I struggled academically at times I enjoyed my time there. The school’s teaching methods don’t work for everyone but if the student puts in effort he should do well. The teachers are more than willing to take out time from their lunches to help a student with any problems.

All of my children have attended and graduated from Padre Pio Academy. Several of my grandchildren now attend the school. The staff really cares about each and every student. If you want a safe and Catholic environment for your child, this is the school for you.

PPA is a wonderful Catholic school focused on the religious and academic education of its students. The teachers genuinely care for their students and work tirelessly towards their success. I graduated from PPA and still think of my teachers and classmates as family. I will definitely be sending my children there!

I went to Padre Pio Academy from K - 12th Grade and could not have asked for a better education to get me to where I am today. It prepared me well academically to attain my engineering degree in college as well as gave me strong roots in the Catholic faith. I encourage anyone out there looking for a good Catholic school, to send their children to Padre Pio Academy. There they can receive the same education I received from the most dedicated and caring teachers you can find. In addition, your children will meet life-long friends in the process that believe in the same Faith. I still see the same friends I went to school with all those years on a weekly basis either at get-togethers or Sunday Mass. There is nothing like having the relationships that I have been blessed to make while attending Padre Pio Academy.

I had the privilege and good grace of being sent to PPA by my parents. PPA is a great Catholic school with a great faculty. The focus on religious and academic education of the students is second to none. PPA is a smaller school and as such there is a great rapport between students and teachers. There is more attention with the smaller class sizes. Our principal and teachers work very hard and selflessly to ensure the best of their students and school. PPA is one huge reason why we have not moved away. As a graduate of PPA, I know first hand what the school has to offer and I will definitely be sending my kids here. Its also worth mentioning that the school builds bonds between the students and most/all are still very close to each other. To have Catholic friends strong in their faith is very important. My wife and best friends are all graduates of PPA. A holy happy family that I pray everyone may have.
