Amazing teachers and curriculum. I cant say enough good things. Well worth the money, my children have flourished.

Love this school!! Our daughter has flourished and excelled in this environment. The teachers are fantastic. They have a lot of after care activities (yoga, gymnastic, dance ) and even more for the older kids. If you are even thinking about this school take a tour , observe a class its pretty amazing the learning environment they have at this real Montessori school. Many can call themselves Montessori however few are truly accredited/certified. Cant say enough positive about our experience at Montessori Greenhouse.

*Witnessed physical abuse at this schoolMy daughter attended Montessori Greenhouse in August and September 2016 when she was a little over 2 years old. Unfortunately I had to pull her out because I witnessed her teacher (Miss Natalie) during circle time, grab a toddler (who was apparently not sitting as she was asked to) by her armpits, lift her up, and bang her butt to the floor very aggressively in a very physical manner. The little girl looked dazed and almost too shocked to cry.I had just entered the classroom with my daughter who was about 30 minutes late, the teacher had not realized that I had come into the room to witness what had just happened.Right after the incident, I looked over to see the directors (Marci Turner) response who was also sitting with the children during circle time who continued on like nothing had happened. I spoke to Marci after class and of citrus she continued to act as if she had not seen the incident even though she had been sitting there the whole time. She explained that the student was difficult to deal with at times because she had special needs. Wow.I was in disbelief that the director of a school who should be doing her best to protect the students was turning a blind eye.I reported the incident to the California Department of Social Services (Licensing dept) and although they sent an investigator out, the school has no cameras and therefore no physical evidence that the incident actually happened. Its been almost two years since, and I figured better late than never to alert parents about my experience with this school as well as their administration practices. Hope this is helpful for any parent considering sending their children to Montessori Greenhouse.h
