We are so blessed to have our daughter attending kindergarten at St. Anthony of Padua. Principal Grey, Mr. Aguilar and Ms. Sarah Ray (office assistants), the teachers, and the rest of the school staff including Pastor, Msgr. Sal Pilato, and the Sisters are so incredibly involved with the students and parents. They genuinely care about the children’s needs, education, and upbringing. They are thorough in keeping the parents informed via email or through other forms of communication ie: parent leaders. They strongly encourage parents to participate and become encompassed with the school and its activities.I’m a firm believer that my daughter will not only receive top notch education, but also a strong Catholic foundation while she attends St. Anthony of Padua.

Great school! In this complicated time the school has made it easy for both parents and students. Now that they have opens their doors to do in class instruction it has given my daughter the confidence that it will get better. The school has been very communicative and have worked hard to keep both teachers and students safe.

My husband and I are thankful that our children have the opportunity to attend St Anthony. We love the school community as a whole. We have met great families since being part of the school. Everyone is very welcoming and truly care about students in holistic manner. High expectations are set for all students and truly prepare them academically. Our children love the staff and enjoy being part of St Anthony. I must applaud the staff for doing an amazing job even during a pandemic. The students never stopped learning and have been kept engaged since day 1 of following stay at home orders due to COVID. The school does a great job in being transparent and keeping families informed about all school news. I truly recommend this private school as they are the best in the South Bay Area.

My husband and I are thankful that we have discovered St. Anthony of Padua School. Our son started with the sisters across the street back in 2003 and graduated with honors in 2013. Thanks to the dedicated, hard-working, and nice teachers and staff, the principal and management of this school, a better education is possible. My sons solid foundation of faith and education gave him a good opportunity to get accepted to a good high school and university. Seeing how this school had help him grow as a fine young man, with no regrets, our second child is following the same path to a good chance of success as well.St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us...

St. Anthony of Padua School is not only a great school, but a great community, great place of faith and an effective place for your child to develop the social and mental skills to grow up in todays world. As an alumni of St. Anthony of Padua school, I could not be more proud to have my oldest child here at this school and my youngest across the street at the preschool. The values and academics that are taught at this school have made my child grow and soar so much, that it has even surpassed my expectations. I am so happy I decided to stay at this school and continue my childs growth here. The principal, Mrs. Angela Grey is always looking out for improvements and making our school the best that it can be. The community and communication between the parents and staff surpasses my expectations and I am proud to have my children continue their education at this wonderful Catholic School.

My daughter is currently a kindergartner at St. Anthonys and has been loving it since day one. She really enjoys it and I have noticed in such a short time a huge academic improvement. The religious foundation and academic standards that the school has is amazing. I am very satisfied with the school, their consideration when I bring up concerns, and how welcoming they have been to my family. I can say with confidence that this is a great school, great teachers, and are very caring to our children.

Couldnt speak any more highly of this school than I already have to those around me. Its a well maintained school with a very dedicated staff. This is not only a school but a community with many opportunities for our kids. Core subject taught along with music, dance, theater. Extra curricular activities taught on school campus.

Our son started attending kindergarten this past August and I must say that I am truly amazed with how much he has learned in school already. He hasn’t even been in school for 2 months yet but he can already do things like recognize and write the alphabet and numbers!!! He is our only child and I have to admit that we were concerned about how he would do. The principal, administration, teachers, and rest of the faculty at St. Anthony of Padua run a great program and have shown us that our son’s best interests are their number one priority. We are confident that St. Anthony was the best choice for our sons future.

Overall a horrible learning experience and expense for my family ~ especially for our youngest son, who was previously enrolled in a public school for pre-K through 1st grade prior to getting accepted into this parochial school for 2nd grade . He did not thrive during his first semester of 2nd grade here . The curriculum here for 2nd grade did not match nor meet state standards because much of the work that was taught was repetitive of the K-1st grade public school curriculum that he had already successfully completed . At this rate, he was not thriving here nor challenged or encouraged to learn more from this curriculum as expected . Paid for a tuition that he did NOT benefit from ...Learning this firsthand confirmed my suspicions as to why my niece was not prepared for the transition to public high school as the standard testing for private schools is much different from that of public schools .Ultimately, before the start of the Sprirng semester we had found another parochial school in the area that matched their curriculum to the local area home school district which kept him challenged and well above the state standards level .Unlike my niece, we did not incur the EXTRA costs associated with tutors and extra classes at the local Community College that were deemed necessary to bring her curriculum aptitude up to state standards of learning prior to entering Public High School and meeting and completing the state required curriculum in order to qualify to apply for UC College level schools & grants .

Choosing Saint Anthony of Padua for our daughter to grow and learn is the best decision we have ever made! We have a very active child with a very active mind. In the two years that our daughter has been at SAP, she has gained so much knowledge not only in academics but also grew in Catholic faith and as an individual. Our principal, Mrs. Grey and vice principal, Mrs. Navia are amazing leaders of the school! Not to mention our pastor Msgr. Pilato who actively participates in school events, awards, Friday masses, etc. The teachers and staff are just as wonderful! Here, we are not just a number. We are treated as part of the SAP family. They say it takes a village to raise a child; this is our village! We know its a great school because we have never once heard our daughter say she dreads going to school -- in fact, she looks forward to it every single day and comes home happy & excited to tell us how her day went at school. Hence, the best decision weve ever made!If youre considering enrolling your child here, dont hesitate.. Do it! You wont regret it.

I used to be a student there, and I wouldn’t recommend sending your children there. Other students bullied me constantly, and I reported the behavior to the teachers and staff numerous times, but they said I was being a tattletale and did nothing. They only asked the bullies if my claims were true, and they, of course, denied it, and then the teachers never helped me. It left emotional scars in me that never went away because no one would help me or stand up for me.
