Inquired in December and they gave me all the info. Told me to come back Monday with down payment and highschool transcript. Showed up Monday with both and the narrative switched to where no longer enrolling new students ? (then why did you tell me the previous week to bring money and transcript ?). 2 weeks later one of my co-workers informs me that she just enrolled at the school. I go back and tell them that my co-worker just enrolled and that I thought they werent enrolling new students. Teacher proceeds to scribble my phone number on a used napkin while saying uhh well call you(which is tacky and unprofessional). Tried one last time to come up there and inform them that I have the money and want to start with my co-worker. Teacher diverts the subject and says uhh your co-worker is at lunch, you can wait for her at the front lobby. Unprofessional, ended up going to PR beauty college which was cheaper, in a better part of town, and had more teachers on staffEDIT: Responding to owner comment. Yes its 100% the correct school, I live across the street from it. I went 4 times, 3 of which to inquire/sign up and a 4th time for a haircut.

I called to ask questions about the nail tech program. I understand being busy but the lady seemed annoyed by my questions. I asked about the hours and she asked to call me back in the rudest way. I said nevermind maam. Do yourself a favor and skip on this place. Sol Nails is a good school. This place and the receptionist are ghetto af. Your receptionist was annoyed by questions about your program than she is probably annoyed with customers as well. You proved my point with your response. They are GHETTO AF.

The owners and instructors at Garland Beauty College are fantastic. The students are well trained and help is always available to them on the floor. I recommend them for everything from a shampoo and blow dry to manicures and pedicures. I have been going there for about twelve years and it just gets better. I get professional service at exceptionally economic prices and everyone is friendly and courteous and makes me feel welcome.Joni Nason

First time visit was today. I walked in with alot of scary grey hair. I walked out with beautifully trimmed and colored hair. They did exactly what I asked for. Nice and clean; I will go back! You must pay with cash which I wish I knew before I went it. I will recommend them. Next will be nails.

Family member going to school there. Owner is very dedicated to her students and treats them as if they are family. The staff if top notch, very professional and knowledgeable. So glad we picked this school.

I never write reviews unless i actually had a problem with the place. this experience was not good at all, made both my ring fingers bleed. they refused to do my sisters nails bc she was “too young”- they can not decide that. they also kept yelling at my 3 year oldwho wasn’t doing anything wrong. the staff was rude and hyper. they took 4 hours to finish my friends nails, i do not recommend.

Came here get my hair washed, conditioned, blow dried and flat ironed and the lady told me my hair would be too hard to shampoo or flat iron. Really hurt my feelings. Im a natural 4c and there is nothing difficult about washing my hair. I guess nappy hair isnt accepted here.
