Incredible! An amazing fine arts program, a stellar GT program, this place has it all! Teachers are very welcoming and kind, and everyone is generally very nice. 10/10!

The teachers and staff are top notch. Wonderful programs and activities like Pentathalon, Robotics and Band. Son attends AAE. He loves it although admits that the work is extensive.

Taught at Austin Academy* EH Algebra, Geometry, and Symbolic Logic for 26 years! I coached the nationally ranked Math Team competing in Washington DC. I love MY Austin Academy!

Its a good school and has really nice staff and students.

Love this school, the teachers are very nice and the programs are perfect it teaches me a lot. Sure some of the kids are rude but you know thats how the kids are in every middle school.

I really like this school! There is some drama (well I mean of course, its middle school) but overall its cool. It is a lot to take in at first but if any elementary students are reading this, you will get used to it.I respect anyone who knows what this is from and who says it: To hate something that you used to love is such a painful feeling.

Nice school and good teachers

Currently in 8th grade at Austin. Great school with good teachers, and an amazing GT program. The Fine Arts are all wonderful and successful, and the majority of students are over all accepting, understanding, and uplifting. Be a good friend and student and you will succeed spectacularly.

Some teachers are kind of strict, good gifted and talented program, in a ghetto location.

Good school

Im currently a student here going into 8th grade and I believe this is a great school in GISD. Theres an GT program, which allows students to attend an enriched honors (EH) course which teaches far more than the Regulars and Honors classes. The schools students are mostly good, there arent any fights or bullies, but some of the kids in the Regulars and Honors classes dont even care about school, going on their phones during class and disrespecting the teacher. Our fine arts and athletics programs are excellent. The teachers give more homework, but I dont think its too much as long as you pay attention during class. We have many extracurricular activities that have won state or sometimes national awards, such as Youth and Government, Pentathlon, Number Sense, Math Olympiads, Robotics, and more! Overall, while theres drama here and there, Id recommend this school if youre in the GISD area.

This place is okay, i am a student there now and it has a good gifted and talented, and i guarantee this will not get you into The college you want you still have to work for it.
