My daughter joined CDE last year from another studio and felt very welcomed by her teachers and the other students in her classes right from the start. She loves going to class multiple days a week and being on both the competitive clogging and company teams. Even though we have to drive 45 minutes it is worth it because she loves it so much. She is growing as a dancer, being challenged, and making great friendships too.

This is a great dance studio for all ages and levels of dancers! My daughters have grown in confidence on the stage and off! We love all the wonderful opportunities they experience as they are learning ballet, tap, acro and jazz skills and also preparing routines to perform on stage where they get to work on overcoming fear and getting in front of people with grace and confidence! They also learn to work on a team with other kids and follow directions from teachers too. I cant stop thinking of wonderful things to say about all of their teachers, the admin staff and director truly work hard to keep a loving and encouraging environment for the kids to achieve their goals and have a ton of fun too!

We love Christys DancExplosion! My daughter has been dancing here going on four years, she is also on the competition team. The teachers are incredibley caring and knowledgeable, this is where you want your child to learn the art of dance. The staff is amazing and helpful. Its like her second home.

Our daughter has been dancing at CDE since she was almost 3, she is now a sophomore in high school. She has had wonderful teachers who push her to do better and improve on her technique. They give suggestions and recommendations for class choices. Our daughter has also been given opportunities to work with younger dancers to share her love for dance. Christy and her staff go above and beyond to keep us informed and to make the girls feel welcomed. Our daughter has not only gained wonderful friendships she has also become confident as she has grown through the years.

We love our CDE family!! My daughter started dancing 2 years ago with a summer class after leaving gymnastics. Every year, she has grown and learned much more than I can express. Through private lessons, she mastered skills that she was less than confident about before. Taylors patience and knowledge is amazing! Christy also goes above and beyond to communicate with families and to care for our dancers each week. During the pandemic, she rose above once again to create fun and exciting ways for our kids to experience dance, hone their skill sets, and still build lasting relationships. Although weve only participated in two showcases, her ideas and planning of these produced amazing results. We are thrilled to have found Christys DancExplosion and never want to leave!

We love everything about CDE. My daughter and I both dance there so it really is great for all ages. The instructors are incredibly talented and are so good with leading the kids (and adults) in a caring yet technical manner. I love the individual attention that each kid gets even in a full class setting. They offer a wide variety of dance styles and levels. The costumes, music and choreography are all tasteful. It’s a very welcoming and inclusive studio with a diverse participation pool. Definitely check them out...you’ll find amazing people and make treasured memories!!

We love Christy’s Dance Explosion! My girls have been dancing here for going on 3 years now and absolutely love it. The owner and teachers are wonderful in helping the students learn and grow. My daughters have gained so much confidence in themselves, and we love watching them grow through dance!

My daughter has danced at Christys for 6 years and we have been very pleased with the studio. The instructors are professional, encouraging and well trained and share their love of dance with every student. There are a variety of dance styles taught, which has given my daughter the opportunity to explore various classes to discover what style she enjoys most. And the routines/costumes are age appropriate. We also value the culture that Christy has created at the studio (Parents and dancers are supportive of each other. Owner is regularly available to answer questions/address concerns. Studio has a family feel). Most importantly, my daughter has grown as a dancer and her confidence has continued to grow.

As a family we love Christys DancExplosion! We have been here for 5 years, since my oldest was 2. This studio has helped grow both my daughters confidence, learn team work and develop a LOVE for dance. Every year we are adding more classes, they just love to be there. The staff are always nice, professional and caring. The instructors are absolutely amazing. True roll models for these young ladies. The music and attire that is selected is VERY age appropriate. The classes are fun, but focus on instruction. And the recitals will blow you away! I could go on and on about how much we love this place. It has become a second home and recommend Christys DancExplosion to anyone any age, any sex looking to have some fun and to learn to dance!!

We joined CDE 3 years ago. We were at a different studio but once my daughter found her live for clogging I knew CDE was the place to be. I can’t even tell you the difference I saw in her clogging from just 1 year at CDE. Now I can’t get her to stop even when we’re talking. I also started in an Adult beginners clogging class. It has been amazing! Honestly it’s great exercise but more so it’s great to have me time with other ladies!!! Our house loves CDE!!!!

My daughter has been apart of CDE for 7 years. It has been a joy to watch her love of dance grow since she started. The instructors truly care about the dancers and I feel like all the dances and costumes are age appropriate. CDE is a place my daughter loves to go to!

We love Christys DancExplosion! Our daughter has been a dance student there for over nine years, and each year wants to take more classes. Being a part of this studio has increased her confidence as well as her dance ability. As a parent, I appreciate the appropriateness of dance attire, music and dance style that is exhibited at this studio. The instructors and staff are awesome. I would recommend this studio to anyone!

Would definitely recommend this studio. We have been to others and this is the best studio around. Professional, friendly, top notch training and passionate about dance and their students! We love Christy’s and we are so glad that we found them.

My children have danced there for 5 years. Overall, this studio is a fun, family friendly damce studio offering many choices of dance. The class offerings are prioritized for girls, and competition track. Adults have also become a favorite offering in the past few years! Sometimes, with scheduling in particular, it has felt though that the rec and boys get leftovers. Our main reason for the 3 star review is related to the limited interactions with staff. There is little time given to parents to find out how their child is progressing even a written checklist of what to work on to improve each semester would be better than no communication. You just have to wait and find out at the end of the year whether they progress to the next level or not. In line with this, our son was the only boy there at one time in ballet. His apoearance onstage seemed to prompt a sudden rise in interest from other guys to take dance more serious. Now, there are three options for boys to take instead of one. He hasnt been able to continue this season due to scheduling conflicts with midweek church service. However, not one staff member asked why him or me why he isnt taking (when we are up there with my daughter), or even said hello to him. That has been hurtful considering the amount of time that both the kids and I have invested with CDE.

We have been dancing at Christys DancExplosion for six years and highly recommend this studio. There are a wide variety of dance forms offered. The instructors truly care about and deeply invest in each student. CDEs competition teams are stellar and push themselves to the highest levels as they practice and compete in clogging, jazz, and ballet.

I love DancExplosion. Both of my daughters have taken dance classes there. My youngest has been there since she was 3 (shes now 14), and every year she asks to add on another class. It is great for her self-image and self-esteem. She feels a strong sense of accomplishment, especially under a quality instructor. I have attended dance recitals for over 12 years, and this past years was by far the best (2012). It wasnt just a showcase of the girls talent, it was also very entertaining and some of the routines bordered near professional level.

We made the move over to Christy’s about a year ago and I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about CDE!!! From the studio, to the teachers, even seemingly simple things like making payments (hello easiest portal and staff to help when you need it!), everything has been amazing! Seriously these instructors are wonderful!! My daughter seriously loves it here! If your son or daughter is interested in any genre of dance, check out CDE, you will not be disappointed!!

My sons love Christys DancExplosion. I wanted my 2 sons (ages 10 & 11) to take dance classes, because me and my husband both have two left feet. I didn’t want them to be afraid or embarrassed to dance as they get into their teen and adult years. I knew we couldn’t teach them, so I chose CDE. We are a karate family, and I initially chose CDE because it is right beside our dojo. I lucked up! Not only is it convenient for me, but my sons absolutely love the studio. They look forward to attending their classes every year. They have been taking Hip Hop classes at CDE for the past 2 years, & may take a Jazz/Hip Hop combo class this year. The teachers are awesome, and the staff is great to work with. I would definitely recommend Christys DancExplosion!

Attending this studio was one of the highlights of my childhood. I went from age 6-17. Its the kind of studio I hope to send my daughter to one day. A studio that helps kids believe in themselves, work hard and dream big! Glad my parents found Christys.

My family has been customers at Christys DancExplosion for about 5 years now and we couldnt be more pleased with everything they offer. They have numerous classes in the all the popular dance styles available for boys & girls starting out as young as age 2 and they even have several options available for adults. The instructors at CDE are AWESOME!!! Their energy, passion, & overall love for dance has fed into both of my girls. As a parent, there is no greater feeling than seeing your kids being passionate about an activity you originally just signed them up to do. Dance is now apart of our familys dynamic and we are blessed to be apart of the CDE family. The friendships my family has made during our time at CDE is arguably the best part of this studio. Being a dad, I just love seeing my girls develop these important, life-long friendships and seeing their confidence in themselves & their abilities get better every year. There is honestly no place we would rather be!

Absolutely LOVE CDE!! I actually danced at CDE growing up (and still do on the adult clogging team!). I am so happy that my daughter is now able to be part of the CDE family as well. Christys staff are amazing and whether your child is on a competitive team or in recreational classes, they will have fun and be challenged to grow each year. I appreciate that Christy makes sure that costumes and music are tasteful and age appropriate. I now live in Cary, but drive the extra 10-15 minutes to bring my daughter to this studio because I cant imagine being anywhere else!
