This school doesnt let students be themselvs, they think a shoulder and stomach will be a distraction and its not, they dont focus on the REAL distraction which is people who act up. Its NOT based on what they wear. Students have a right to express themselves freely and wear what they want. Teacher that restrictions that prevent a student from being who they are and teachers expect them to be perfect. Teacher dont do nothing about distraction, all they care about is what a student wears and that has NOTHING TO DO WITH how a person acts

My daughter has attended this school for her 10th grade year. Weve been very happy with her progress and for the teachers counselors in after school Volunteers in the different programs that they offer. Everyone that we have talked to has been helpful and encouraging to help the kids along. When there was a scary event there was great communication from the principal. I like the weekly phone calls from the principal as well they are helpful to know whats going on at the school. I wish that they would get their magnet IB Program at this school. Because our kids have been in the IB Program I will have to get them transferred to Garner high-school.

I would most definitely have to disagree because you all are talking about GARNER HIGH! South Garner isonly in its 3rd week, so all of these negative comments are irrelevant and confusing because you all are not actually talking about South Garner.

Best school ever better than my old school

I think a distinction needs to be made with the reviews posted about South Garner High School. As an entity it does NOT currently exist. South Garner High School will open for the first time August 2018. Currently, Garner Magnet High School is operating out of the building that will be South Garner High School. So all negative comments should actually be posted on the Garner Magnet High School page at least until August 2018.
