My wife, son and I took the Basic course. Great training course to get a fundamental knowledge of handguns; nomenclature, breakdown, maintenance and operation. George is a fantastic instructor and the course is very hands on.Best part was after the day at the shooting range my son said he wanted to go shooting with George again. He may only be 13 but hes hard to impress, great job!

First, Id like to thank Fists and Firearms and the instructor for the relaxed environment from start to finish with the concealed to carry handguns class. As a wife of a deployed husband to Afghanistan and mother of 4,I strongly feel the importance to have the proper training on handgun safety and the use of which to be able to protect myself and family when deemed necessary. Myself and 4 of my girlfriends attended the class together and 1 guy as well. Fists and Firearms provided me the comfort to know that I can properly handle a handgun. The class was held in a relaxed environment and wasnt rushed at all. This allowed the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on anything that you felt the need of.The shooting range was a great experience. I have to admit I was nervous to fire a handgun as Ive never done so. Growing up hunting Ive shot many different rifles & shotguns with accuracy, but never shot a handgun. Though I was nervous, once instructor George began the course he immediate reassured me that it was gonna be fun and to relax that Id do just fine. And that I did! Thanks Fists and Firearms for affording me the opportunity to complete my NC CCH course with ease. I highly recommend Fists and Firearms to fulfill your concealed to carry and training certificate to obtain a permit and/or further your skills with your handgun. Fists and Firearms you rock!

I was very impressed with the instruction of NC laws and the detail in which the instructor George explained! It was a very relaxing setting and the instructor makes you feel very calm while teaching. I recommend anyone who is looking to take a CC class to take this one and any other classes taught by this instructor!

I think it is absolutely unfair that I am only able to give this class 5 stars, George from Fists and Firearms is absolutely amazing and deserves 10 stars. I had been looking for a concealed carry handgun class to take but really wanted a ladies only class (I was a little intimidated to take a class with men). Luckily I found out 3days before this class that he was having an all ladies class and immediately jumped on board. The class was small, very relaxed, fun, and he was very patient and encouraging with us. I would definitely recommend Fists and Firearms to any and everyone. If you are looking or know someone who is, look no further because this is the place you want to be.Thank you so much for everything Fists and Firearms. I cant wait to take the advanced class and bring my 10 year old for gun safety classes.

I totally enjoyed myself. I went to get my Conceal and Carry training. I went with a few girl friends. I expected to see more men as usual but this class was different, only one guy this time. Not that I have any problem with guys, but sometimes you are not taken seriously when around some of them. We got there and the class was different than what I expected. I learned so much. I was also free to ask as many questions as I needed to, without feeling rushed or stupid. It was a relaxed environment but very informative at the same time. I feel like I learned better this way than in a strict classroom setting. When class was done we took our 20 question test, and went to the shoot range. It was outside , clean, and different. I learned new techniques on holding a hand gun , which eye was my dominate eye and that I can actually shoot with booth hands. Thank you so much Fist And Firearms for such a great learning experience! I highly recommend this place!

I have taken a cc class in Ohio and did not learn 1/2 the amount I did with George (Instructor) at Fists and Firearms. My weakness were the NC laws and for the life of me, I could not clean my 9mm Glock by myself. After taking this course, I now have better understanding about the NC cc laws and I can clean my Glock with no assistance. George was patient with me and allowed me to ask questions at any time when I needed clarification and he would not let me leave until I could take my Glock apart and put back together. He covered every aspect from gun safety, NC Laws, etc. I highly recommend taking the cc class with Fists and Firearms. Great class and he made it fun. They day went by faster than I expected.
