Wheew where to begin I always says it starts with administration. I didn’t get anything done until I became rude like they are… the lady with the low cut blonde hair she is very unprofessional I’m glad I changed I had to breathe through my process…. My kindergartner was dragged due to her personality and not standing straight…. The lady that works for there iep program is a lied about doing her job. It’s so much to st but to some it all up I’m going to the board and beyond… The experience I had with this school has been terrible no one really was professional well I take that back the Dean was and Ms.Diaz…. What is the purpose of this unprofessional, unorganized degrading Charter school. I’m over it

Im really disappointed with this school my daughters first year there and due to covid-19 school is remote elearning from home. Ok just let me say that the staff is very unprofessional with the acception of a few so the students had 2 day in school state testing. They said frm 730 to 10 well if you arrive a few minutes early you are told your child cant come inside the building til 730 but staff are able to come in so if you have to get to work your child has to stand outside til 730.In the freezing cold while staff is inside warm then the door was locked and they are told to ealk alone in the cold to the other sode of the building. I am livid right now they had months to prepare there shouldve been a spot. Inside for the early students to wait til 730.

Worst experience with an elementary school Ive ever had...Lady at the front desk Is rude and The teachers Yell at the kids and talk to them in very aggressive manners...Learning should be fun not Stressful...This school is making my child DEPRESSED!!!!

I use to really like this school I thought the teacher my son had last year really gave her all to her students and pushed them to success. My experience this year with my sons second grade teacher has been a complete nightmare. I’ve met the teacher once since the school year started. She doesn’t response when you try to reach out to her , my son is not doing so well and I asked how can I help him do better and I get no response. This school to me does not care enough about their students and I can not wait to remove him from this place

This school should not be your first option for your child. They dont care about the kids and dont attempt to help the children out. Their leveling system of academic intelligence puts immense pressure on the kids and even destroys friendships. They dont know how to handle student outbursts. All they do is put them in detention and in the lowest academic class just so they dont have to have the responsibility to handle them.

Aspire Academy School is an excellent environment to education children. My son has had many educational gains since enrolling in Aspire Academy. Deans, teachers and administrators truly take their jobs seriously. They are focused on the academy needs of the child. Their Moral focus program is one of a kind. The staff protects the children and yet keeps them focused on their educational goals. I believe that there is no scheduled bus service as it helps parents to remember their responsibility as our children only have one middle school experience. We as parents need to share this experience. My son and I have a better line of communication, by him not being on a bus. I believe knowledge is truly power at Aspire Academy I thank the Aspire Academy Board for seeking National Heritage and encouraging them to settle here in Gary, Indiana.

Aspire school is all out of order the school lunch is nasty my child was bully by other students in her class , the teacher dont do nothing about it. my child told me twice that she pee on her self because her teacher wouldnt let her to the restroom they staff is very rude no respect at all. they lie on you to get you on to get you in trouble, yea my daughter want be attend her next school year at this school.

Worst school my children has ever been too. This school is nothing like the other NHA schools, teachers and staff say there is zero tolerance for bullying, but allow it anyway. Can never get a call back from the dean to resolve the issue but as soon as your child fights back their suspended. My children comes home saying the lunch looks uncooked several times. Ive never had so many problems with any school my children has ever been too. Oh and to top it off when you do have a concern or looking for someone who could help resolve an issue all you get is nasty attitudes. Its truly disappointing tbh, my childrens progress has decreased tremendously since theyve started this school. Test scores for state fall way below average here.

This school is terrible wait let me rephrase that. Some of the staff are terrible my child went through a few different teachers in the 3rd grade as well as the 4th grade. (Where is the stability). He was talked about by the kids in school and when he would notify the staff they would brush it off until he reacted for the for their actionHe rarely received homework (maybe only a handfull of times), i never received call or evem notices of any problems my child was having until it was the last minute. Its almost like the teachers want your child to fail. My son will not be returning to this school.

Do it send your children to this school the staff are rude and they make it very clear everything is about income and not the safety of the children my children have been sent to wrong day cares and picked up by people not authorized in paper work they dont make sure kids are put on the right bus and will allow people to transport your children without your permission my child sat at the school for four hrs after school let out and they didnt even feed my child Im so hurt I cannot begin to express that is 7 hrs without food please dont let this be your school of choice

The school is a great place for your child to learn, but the food is nasty and some of the staff will try and get you in trouble for nothing. But overall kids like being there 3 out of the 5 days in the week.

This school is such a JOKE!!! DON’T SEND UR KIDS TO A SCHOOL THAT LIES ABOUT THEY STUDENT BEHAVIOR! There is no STRUCTURE what so ever in the classrooms.

The staff here is so disrespectful to parents and the students. The Music teacher is a liar and a trouble maker he behaves like a child. The African American woman in the front office is very unprofessional,and rude. I do not understand why they have someone like her in the very front office,to greet people when she always has a nasty attitude. The wrong position for her. Other wise the teachers try their best underpaid and all.. The school funding is a disgrace please do not allow Your child to eat their poison for lunch..

Its is an okay school somethings are a bit much.They have lost my child a few times . where as I almost had to call the police only for them to actually make an effort to help look.No matter how involved in your kids studies the teachers rarely contact you and tell you what is going on with your child.Also some of the kids are rowdy and disrespectful.
