Calli is a excellent teacher whose passion for the horses is obvious. She is very patient in taking the time to break things down in a very informative fashion. She does an absolute amazing job in helping me become more aware of my body as well as the horse — always helping me understand how my body influences the horse. Great variety of lesson horses! I find she challenges way me more than any teacher has in over a decade — which was something huge I was looking for! Very positive and always helping build confidence! Splendid communicator!!In case you aren’t aware, I would highly recommend Calli with absolutely no hesitation for anyone who wants to learn! 😊

My review 3 years ago was for Grace Riding Stables. Which happens to be at your exact location now. Would it be possible that I review the correct place three years ago?

Calli has been a true blessing to me and my 6 y.o. I had just started English lessons about 6 months before the previous owners decided to sell to Calli. I grew up riding Western, but hadnt ridden English ever and hadnt ridden in 20 years. The first thing Calli did was analyze my balance and tell to me relax and just ride naturally. In 6 months of lessons before working with Calli, I still had not learned how to post on the diagonal, never cantered and never jumped. My legs hurt every lesson and I felt so stiff all the time. By lesson #3 with Calli, I did 8 jumps in a row! Shes all about feeling the horse move under you. Shes had me ride several different horses now (Pilot, Ollie, Guiness and Bug) so that I can focus on how they move under me. She challenges me and has an amazing personality. My 6 y.o. loves her lessons now after being scared for so long. She looks forward to running faster, jumping higher, etc. And Chris and Calli have really spiffed the barn and area up quite a bit. Very, very happy riders here. (Photo is my first day jumping. Look how excited she is for me!!)

We booked a private lesson for our daughters third birthday over the phone. The gentleman we spoke to was fantastic and answered every question with ease. He fit us in with Calli at our perfect time and day even with short notice. Cali is amazing! She took time with our daughter to explain everything and to make her feel successful in whatever she was doing. Her calm demeanor and soft spoken way put everyone at ease. I know it’s uncommon to give lessons for a three year old but she absolutely loved it, Calli, and Sparky. Thank you for giving us memories of a lifetime and a love of horsemanship to our daughter. We will be back and will send everyone we know!

My daughter has been riding horses for a little over a year but was interested in learning English style and dressage. So happy we found Calli. She is a magnificent trainer and in a few sessions my daughter has learned so much and we’re looking forward to many more sessions with Calli. Great investment!

Calli is the most incredible trainer that I have ever met. I have learned so much from her about horses, riding, proper horse care and training. I’ve only know Calli for a year, but she has taught me more in the time that I’ve known her than I’ve learned in all my years of riding. It means the world to me that I can completely trust someone with the care of my horse. I know that my horse will always be treated like one of her own.

Calli has an outpouring of love and caring for her clients, their horses, and her horses. She connects very well with each person and has a very special ability to connect with horses. She is well trained and has good ability to interact with customers. She works hard at keeping the arena groomed and with loose sand. Totally recommend this special person and this special place.

Callie is helping to retrain our horses. She is fantastic! She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She helps both my husband and myself individually tending to each of us and our horses needs based on their personality. She is right there during each lesson helping each of us direct our movement and cues in teaching our horses to be the kind of partner we are looking them to be in a relationship. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

This place is truly amazing. The new owner Calli is absolutely fantastic. So many improvements are being done. The training and quality of the facility is unmatched. I highly recommend lessons and boarding here!Thank you Calli for all that you do!!!

My boys had only been on the back of a pony twice in their lives and I didnt know that this would be anything more than someone leading them around the corral. I was so thrilled to see Michael take the time to go over basics before they even got on the horse. Michael was so patient and explained exactly what he wanted them to do. Michael was quick to tell them when they did things correctly and even threw in some cool horse facts. Now both of them cant wait to go again. I would highly recommend this place.

My girls have been taking horse lessons here for years. Paula & Michael (owners) take a personal interest in all of their students. Through their lesson program the riders develop responsibility, confidence and a deep sense of accomplishment along with a greater love and bond with the horses. The riders are also very supportive of one another during lessons and at shows. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing!! As one of there students I have come so far in the 2 months that I have been riding with Calli. Calli is by far the best tranier I have ever ridden with. She makes sure that the horse are happy and healthy.

CALLI IS THE MOST AMAZING HORSE PLACE IN TEXAS!!I’ve waited to post a review since owner ship change back in February of 2019! Calli is the new owner and I have never been more satisfied. From the attention to detail to stable quality is untouched! My kids have attended the summer camps from previous owner were never intrigued. Both my kids attended Calli’s summer camp this year. They came home excited to go back the next day and even more excited to continue to learn about horse as we have pretty much read every book on horses from the library!!! LolMy family and I bought a horse since Calli’s summer camp and have been boarding at Calli’s Equestrian center! The attention our gets blows me away! He is so pampered and loved and treated like Calli’s own! I even get pictures of my horse sent to me by calli which brightens my day! I truly love calli and her facility and couldn’t be more blessed to have her in our lives!Thank you calli! And congratulations on doing such a good job!

I had a very bad experience with the instructor, Mr Micheal. I sent my daughter for lessons. In the beginning, he was nice, after a couple of lessons, he was very aggressive by yelling and screaming at my daughter. He has no patience at all. That was an unacceptable behavior. I will never recommend anyone to this place.

All jokes aside tho I went there for my first lesson ever dealing with horses like 5 years ago and the instructor was so rude, he got onto me for not holding the lead rope right like..........huh,,,, I’m sorry that I’ve never done this before and there’s a specific way that you HaVe to hold the lead rope 🤨
