I think its totally ridiculous that a person needs THREE LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION before a application is accepted on line for a custodian position with the school district. The district does a back ground check, finger prints thru the local state and federal authoritys. What good is the letter unless its from a CEO, The Governor, or President? And we all know there are many liars theives and pedophiles in these professions already! The letter of recommendation in todays world is totally worthless and a waste of my time and yours. It limits a possible great applicant from applying for a position with the district when the applicant does not see the job posting until a day or two before it closes! This is like calling for a reference from a previous employer! A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!
