Glassboro Child Development Center provided a fun and safe after school program for my children to attend. They made great friendships there with other children and close relationships with staff as well. My daughter had a big sister from Rowan that she still keeps in touch with years later! They also attended the summer camp and enjoyed the planned activities and many trips they went on! The staff is top quality!

My childrens experience with the after school programming has been top notch! I was a stay-at-home mom for 7 years and upon going back to work, I needed my children to be taken care of after school hours. I was skeptical at first, only because no one had ever been responsible for the care of my children but me, but after a week of nothing but rave reviews from my kids, I settled down. I have nothing but wonderful experiences and memories with both sites --quality daily programming, caring and appropriate staff, thoughtful holiday experiences, fantastic directors--the list goes on and on. Keep up the good work GCDC!

My kids were apart of the daycare when they were younger and we loved it! Now they are older and they do the summer program and they want to stay longer than my work hours!!! That in itself is a compliment!!! Keep up the great work GCDC!!

I have not one negative thing to say about this place. From the daycare to the before and after school program the staff is welcoming, accommodating and willing to go out there way to make sure the kids and parents are satisfied. Prior to finding GCDC i had a bad encounter with another Glassboro childcare center so i was skeptical but they reinsured me that my kids would have a better experience at GCDC and i have yet to be disappointed. My children aren’t stuck sitting in front of a tv or left coloring all day. They go on field trips, make it fun to learn and plenty of exercise and hands on activities. My kids love the program and so do I.This is definitely the place your kids wanna be!

Glassboro Child Development Centers was my introduction to the Glassboro Community over 20 years ago when I needed afterschool care for my son. Through the years, I have witnessed the service they provide the families that participate in their programs. I consider myself extremely lucky that they are still around and now able to provide care for my grandson.

To anyone that is BLACK OR ANYONE WITH A CHILD THAT HAS DEVELOPMENT ISSUES, don’t take your child to glassboro development centerMy son was there for 2 weeks and he is 2 years old and yes my son was hitting other kids because he can’t talk much and they are aware of his development issue and he is terminated because of this and I feel like it’s discrimination against a situation that is beyond all of our control.I am a first time mother with a lot of stress and I feel like these teachers should be specially trained for children of all types. The teachers look at you like your crazy. I feel like this place should be shut down to the teachers not having special training.I’m currently speaking to a lawyer and discrimination to see how this can be handle. They are aware of of my child’s development issues and my son is awaiting appointment help from early interventionAnd if my reviews are removed I will repost again

My kids have been a part of the GCDC family for the past 8 years. Their after GAPA and RASKEL school programs are not only convenient and affordable, but what makes them truly outstanding is the caring learning environment and commitment from their staff and leaders.

I don’t know what I would do without GCDC. They have become family and are people I truly trust my daughter with each day. Thank you to Ms. Lori and everyone in the Raskall and GAPA program who made our transition to public school so much easier.

The only reason this daycare center has good ratings is because they get the bad ratings removed. Their staff gives them good ratings on this page. This is a horrible facility. The director does not communicate with parents and threatens to expel children in a days notice for things like not using the swipe card to check their kids in when they have lost their card- without even telling the parents the steps to take if they have lost their cards before going to this extreme. The director doesnt plan well and events are cancelled frequently. They feed the children crackers and cheese with processed cheese instead of real cheese but do not allow parents to send in food. They mix up the childrens belongings and have tried to send my child home with the wrong sippy cups as well as blankets. They have insisted that my child did not bring a sippy cup or bottle only to send them home filled with sour milk a week later. My son who is not even 2 came to school with a bruise under his eye (as is common at his age, and Ive signed multiple accident reports at this center for him bumping his head while running around) but since I did not know exactly how he got it the day they asked, the director called dyfs instead of inquiring any further by calling me. He had bumped his eye on a metal handle of a wagon my mom had him sitting in. She was babysitting him while I was at the dentist and this information hadnt been relayed to me yet, as it was a small mark and my mother hadnt thought to tell me. The daycare director also told dyfs that my 2 year old had become aggressive because he had bitten a child who stole his toy. My son cant talk well yet and has gotten into a phase of biting. I pull him away from his  brother at home any time I see that he is about  to bite and we tell him to have nice hands and prevent the issue from going any further. At this daycare he was left to bite this child for so long that the child bled. My son is only a baby and if you ask me- no child should be ignored for long enough to make another bleed by biting. Phases that are common ground in certain age groups of children should also be treated as such. If you want your children well taken care of and your family unit in a supportive environment do not send your children here. The staff does not communicate with each other and the director makes rash decisions based on bad assumptions anywhere from expelling children to calling dyfs instead of communicating with parents. The office staff is incompetent so any information given to them will not be relayed to the director which is possibly why the director makes bad decisions to expel children in a days notice out of ignorance. Calling dyfs can have a child removed from their home, and I believe that a daycare center should only make a phone call as such in a very serious circumstance. The director of this school does not do her due diligence to get the information she needs to make good decisions and treat families well which I believe is her responsibility as the director of a daycare facility. Do not send your children here
