My son and I had an awesome time. The instructor was very friendly and warm to my son. It was his first time interacting with other children and people outside of his immediate family so we definitely appreciated the instructor’s approach. The activities were very age appropriate and fun.

First, I so appreciate how Romp & Roll offers a $10 trial class so that we could get an idea of what we’d be paying for before made a membership commitment. Second, they are so welcoming and friendly! We were greeted when we first came in, given name tags, and were talked through what to expect for the class. During the class we were greeted by name and after class, every single worker spoke to us as we left. They have definitely created a warm, welcoming atmosphere! Finally, I cannot say enough good things about the class! We took the Tumble Tunes 1 Class for ages 10-24 months. It was the perfect age group for my son and was run in such a way that my son and I felt comfortable the entire time! The teacher explained what to expect and let parents know that it’s okay if the children don’t stay in the circle the whole time. We got to play on the gym equipment, sit and sing in circle time, dance and play with instruments all while my son was getting the social exposure that I know he’s been craving. Romp & Roll is the perfect place for my son to grow his physical, social, and emotional skills! It is also a great place for him to start being exposed to a “class” setting where a teacher is giving directions that we want him to follow. I cannot wait to go back for our next class!

Mr. Price is a talented entertainer and was very patient with the children. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of including the adults. He has a theatrical quality that is perfect for keeping children entertained! The whole place is well run, and clean. Would definitely recommend.

I have a 10 month old son who LOVES Romp n Roll and I love getting to watch him have so much fun interacting with others and the environment. The staff is phenomenal - a special mention to Laura whose love for the babies creates such a welcoming atmosphere. The classes are always age appropriate and I appreciate that they encourage your baby to explore and enjoy the class in their own individual way. I can already see my sons confidence growing!

Both of my children have taken classes here, I also bring along the little girl that I babysit. We take 2-3 classes a week and occasionally attend open playtime. Every week there is a different theme, so the kids seem to be interested in every class that we take. My older daughter has attended their winter camp and kids night out, she had a blast at both. We love it! The owner makes sure that the place is very clean and the employees are very nice and bubbly.

This is one of the only places where we can take our child to engage with other kids her age. Our child was born right before COVID and as a result hasn’t been able to engage with other kids. This place is great to help her get socialized, have some structure, and help prepare her for what to expect in preschool. She is always excited when we arrive and she is always ready for nap when we leave. It’s great.

Our toddler has been going to romp and roll for a few months now and we absolutely love it there! She runs into the gym area when she sees where we are because she’s so excited. All of the teachers are great, however Ms. Anna is without a doubt our favorite! She is fun, energetic, manages the group of children very well, and is just fun. Our little one also seems very comfortable around her, so we specifically look for her classes on the schedule. The facility is always very clean and well maintained, and all of the staff are consistently very professional. We’re so happy that we discovered romp and roll!

There aren’t enough amazing things to say about Romp n Roll West End! We have been taking our son here since he was an infant. He attends the day camp currently as a 3yr old and he absolutely loves it. He has grown so much and we have seen his speech/communication skills grow as well as his fine motor skills develop! Mrs. Babz and are her staff are amazing and care deeply for each child. If you are looking for somewhere fun, educational and safe for your child a few days a week, I highly recommend Romp n Roll!

The staff was over the top wonderful. My son had so much fun with them all. We have been once before and he never stopped asking to go back again! We are going to make Friday night his Romp n Roll Fun Night!!!

We had an incredible first experience! Mr Daniel was absolutely amazing! He knew all of the kids names and recognized that we were new and took the time to make us feel incredibly welcome. He made sure I knew what to expect from class and was super patient. The class itself was great, but I was most impressed with Mr Daniel’s professionalism!

Lots of safe and fun options to explore. Friendly and educated staff on developmental practices. I felt very welcomed and it was a great way to socialize with other adults and children!

My daughter loves her time at Romp n Roll! She has been attending since she was 4 months old and has increasingly loved her classes with Mr. Daniel as shes grown. He makes each class so much fun and interactive for the babies. Theyve also done an excellent job at keeping the space safe and clean during the pandemic. Definitely recommend them!

My girls (ages 2, 4.5) LOVE Romp n’ Roll!! It’s the perfect place for them to let out their extra energy in a safe, fun, clean and nurturing environment. All of the instructors we’ve had are EXCEPTIONAL. We especially love Mr. Daniels’ Tumble Tunes class, he does a great job leading the little ones in fun and interactive activities.

My daughter is 18 months old and is an only child. She has had minimal interaction with other babies in her life due to the pandemic. It was beginning to impact her social development and so I looked online for places I could bring her where she would be likely to get that interaction.Romp n roll was the obvious choice and my daughter loves it! We went to open playtime yesterday and she had a blast!

Romp n roll provided an engaging, safe and fun environment for my very active 1 year old (15 months). Class sizes are reduced and everything is sanitized moreover due to the pandemic. I wish I had known about this place sooner! The environment is friendly and understanding so if youre little one is less inclined to sit and participate or decides they are done with that setting, its perfectly acceptable to get up and free play. That makes it less stressful for parents and more fun for the kids.

I personally was very impressed with the precautions being taken for the current pandemic. Its an added bonus that all the staff is getting covid vaccinated! The instructor Mr. Daniel was so wonderful. Hes incredible with children, so outgoing and kind. My daughter certainly seemed comfortable with him right away.

Romp n Roll is good, clean fun and better than Gymboree. I went here when I was little. The staff is really well-trained and they dont talk down to kids, the gym equipment is fun, and the songs are catchy (mostly sung to the tune of public domain songs, which I dont like). Overall, take your kids to Romp n Roll for a fun, never-condensing, gym-art-and music experience! Theyll love it, and you will too.

I took my child to a toddler party here and she enjoyed herself so much. Kehlani and Patience were so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a great time! They danced , kept the kids engaged, and kept the energy up even though it was such a small group. Everything was super clean and they were so accommodating. Will def be taking a class with them soon! Will be returning soon.

Romp n’ Roll is the best! They provide fun, interactive classes as well as “open” playtime with great music. I’ve been bringing my almost 14 month old since she was only 4 months old and she always has a blast, also the perfect excuse to get out of the house when the weather isn’t ideal. Mr. Daniel and Ms. Anna in particular really know how to make things fun for the little ones!

My one year old has so much fun at Romp n Roll! Such a great way for her to socialize with other kids her age, especially since she is not going to daycare. Mr. Daniel is a wonderful, energetic teacher who really knows how to engage the kids with his songs and fun games (not to mention the bubble dance parties). Highly recommend checking it out!

I was very grateful that our first play session for our 2 year old went so well. My son wasnt ready to follow the structured part just yet because he hasnt had much interaction with peers his age during all of the lockdowns that occurred in the city were from, but my son was welcomed and felt included all the same. Weve been to a lot of play centers with our son around Virginia but this one is our favorite. We look forward to going to more of these classes with our new membership. Thank you Daniel for the positive environment, he did very well at keeping the kids entertained and working together with different interactive challenges.

We had a mini birthday party during COVID that was a huge hit! Even with a 10 person limit the kids had plenty of fun! The staff played games with them and let them have some free play gym time. I brought treats for guests but that was literally all I had to do! Hassle free birthday fun!

We attend Mr. Daniel’s class once a week and my one year old son just loves it!! Mr. Daniel plans such engaging activities during our class and also encourages free play as well. It is a wonderful 45 minutes we both thoroughly enjoy!

Our family LOVES the camps at Romp n’ Roll West End. My grandson goes two days a week from 9-12. There he enjoys gym, stories, music, and art. He adores Mr Daniel, Ms Brooke, and Ms. Anna. They have a strong knowledge of child development and obviously love their jobs. Romp n’ Roll keeps limits the number of enrollees and follows all safety precautions. I highly recommend this program and staff.

Romp n Roll is just what we needed during COVID. I work from home with my 15 month old daughter and Romp n Roll made it possible for her to get some outside socialization. They go above and beyond to make sure the gym is thoroughly cleaned and that masks are worn at all times. We love going to our Wednesday night class with Anna! She rocks!!

We love it here. My 3 yr old needs a place to get his wiggles out! Lots of movement and songs. Equipment is cleaned after every class so we feel safe going here.

We did a private play dad and the kids loved it!!! Loni and Patience were friendly, interactive, and energetic. It felt like they really enjoy what they do.

My one year old absolutely loves these classes. Mr. Daniel is the best- His classes are fun and different every time. My daughter is shy, but she absolutely loves Mr. Daniel and gets excited for all of his activities in class!

This place has been a lifesaver since the pandemic hit. All covid precautions are taken seriously, and all the classes are fun end educational for the kids. The owner and all the staff are great, but I want to give a special shout out to Mr. Daniel who leads most of the classes I go to. He very obviously knows his stuff and cares for the kids. I reccomend R&R to any parent with young children

My son has been going to Romp n Roll classes in the Richmond area for the past 2.5 years and we absolutely love them. We just celebrated his birthday there & the staff goes out of their way to make every birthday special and fun for the kids....all you have to do is bring the food and they do everything else! I feel lucky that my son has this gem to come to & have a great time playing and learning.The customer service at Romp n Roll is out of this world. The employees are SO warm & so accommodating. I am very sensitive to issues with customer service, and I’m always incredibly impressed with the staff. They go out of their way to make parents and children happy and comfortable. The staff is friendly, professional, vibrant, and personable. They made sure any concern I had with my sons party was taken care of so that I don’t have to worry about a thing.

Safe and fun indoor place! We usually have Daniel and he does a great job demonstrating by example and explaining concepts to adults.

When COVID hit and daycare closed we were in need of a safe, inclusive, engaging environment for our 1.5 year old to enjoy. Remembering a few parties weve previously attended, we signed up for a trial class with Romp n Roll. Almost six months later, were completely hooked! The weekly classes with kid friendly themes are a great time for not just my kid but my husband as well (lol). They follow strict COVID protocol that is never invasive to the fun, loving atmosphere. My son actually first learned to be comfortable wearing his mask during Romp n Roll classes (he is now 2). The staff is always warm and welcoming. We even hosted his COVID- safe mini birthday party here. Working full-time from home with a toddler can present many challenges. I am thankful for the saving-grace that is Romp n Roll West End to provide this outlet for my kid to simply be a kid and have some sense of normalcy. The only suggestion I have is to build a location in Varina so that we wont have to travel as far :) Babz, Daniel, Anna and crew... sincerely, thank you. Keep up the great work!

A wonderful place for kids to have a great time, learn, play, and be fit indeed. The classes goes by the age group and they have variety of sessions like gym, play, art and more coming. Timing works great for working people as most of the benefiting sessions are by or after 4.30 PM so you can come from your work and spend time for your kids.I have to mention about the instructors, staffs and they are so lovely, friendly and take good care. Just note - this is not the place where you can drop off the kids and go. Parent/guardian should be there in the class. So consider this like your break time from work and priceless time for your children.

My son just turned 3 and has been attending Romp n Roll since he was 6 months. He absolutely loves all the classes provided and the instructors there are amazing! The teachers also supported me in his transition with independence. He now asks to take the classes alone. He just started their summer camp and he can’t stop talking about how much fun it is. In addition to classes, their birthday parties are top notch! I highly recommend it for your toddler because it truly brings out your child’s interests and helps them grow socially. He’s also made incredible friends (so have I)!

My children have loved Romp n Roll (we go to the West End location in Glen Allen). They enjoy the mix of structured activities and free playtime during the classes. As a parent, it makes me happy to see the joy in their faces, not only during class but any time we talk about Romp n Roll. I am also grateful for the personal attention Romp n Roll pays to its members. I feel that both the teachers and front desk staff truly care about us. It is a very supportive place for both children and their parents!

My Sofia loves this place. It has blessing to find a place where she feels at home and has a blast!! The classes and staff are awesome. THEY ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. The membership is wonderful and gives her lots of free play time and classes. This location is super clean. They always have everyone use hand sanitizer and clean everything multiple times a day. The owner is there alot and super friendly. I just can not say enough how happy we are to be a part of the Romp N Roll family. They are so welcoming. Stop in and set up a trial or intro class, you wont regret it.🙂

My children love attending weekend classes at Romp n Roll. I can see immediate positive effects after our visits. The classes have helped them feel more confident physically and socially. We had our daughters 3-year-old birthday party at this location and it could not have been better. The professional, enthusiastic staff made it an incredibly special experience for our birthday girl. My 9 month old LOVES the Romp N Roll babies class with Miss Jessica!! We’ve been going for a few months now, and it is so fun to see how much she has progressed during the class activities. Miss Jessica is very personable and gets to know all the babies! She really seems to enjoy teaching and making each class educational and fun :).

Staff is always friendly and they greet my child by name (and she loves that)!Her first birthday party was held here and the kids AND parents commented how organized it was and how they loved the activities.We always have a great time whether its open play or a class.

Part gym, part classroom, all fun for parents and children alike. The staff and instructors are unbelievably kind, patient, and caring towards the children. I dont know how they do it, because it must be exhausting. They clearly try to mix teaching with semi-uncontrolled energy release, and I think they do a good job. The entire gym is coated with foam and rubber, so kids can go wild without much danger. Periodically, the children are invited to sing, dance, play music, etc. depending on your chosen class. Its a lot of fun, which is the bottom line here.Additionally, there are night classes from 6-9 PM once a month (twice during February) where you can drop your child off and have a night out with the partner. This costs $30 which is about the same price as a baby sitter. There are also summer camp classes and much more. The first class is free and its a good way to see whats on offer.

When I found Romp n Roll for parent-child classes, I found way more than I ever expected. I was new to the stay-at-home role and was struggling to find connection. The classes were the highest quality, and the people I met made the experience feel like I had a new family. The owners personally worked with me when my daughter was in a cast, and integrated suggestions from our physical therapist into some of the fun! They foster an environment where parents can connect and children have a blast; quickly they became a highlight of our week. I highly recommend Romp n Roll!

My daughter and nephew love it! I really wish they had more free play times because I don’t have a set schedule so I can’t buy a class package. Some weeks we can’t go at all so it’d be a waste of money

I cant say enough nice things about this Romp and Roll. The staff are all ultra-kind and intelligent, loving and simultaneously professional. The classes are always well-prepared and interesting, and my kids learn something while getting their wiggles out. Romp and Roll is the best place I know to take classes with your child, and I have always completely trusted them with my most-prized possessions at drop-off classes... Theyre just THE BEST.If youre considering trying them out, you should! Whether for a birthday party, a camp, a class or a date night drop off, you wont regret it!

A great concept in theory, just not as good as I expected. I really wanted something where my child could get out some energy and run around. They have a very nice gym area, but weve been to many different classes and most of them have the kids sitting down for most of them. Even the gymnastics class is taught by an older woman where the kids were just railroading her. She kept coming out to get parents because the kids were just not sitting down! I dont want my kid sitting during gymnastics! The only time my child has gotten any enjoyment is during the open gym, where she can actually use the fun equipment. Other than that, not worth the money in my opinion.

We had my sons 4th birthday party here and they made it so easy! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the person running the birthday party was amazing! He had the kids engaged the whole time. Everyone had wonderful experience!

Romp N Roll is awesome for young kids AND parents. They have a variety of gym, art, and science classes for a range of ages. Every teacher my three sons have had has been energetic and caring. They seem to really understand what is developmentally appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. Unlike kiddie places like Chuck E Cheese, this is a place that kids and adults will both enjoy.

Kids night out was the perfect value and the timeframe was enough for parents to enjoy themselves . My son had the best time. I loved seeing pure joy when I arrived at pick up. Will definitely do again and have recommended through social media. Great job!

We have attended many events at Romp n Roll over the years - classes, camps and birthday parties starting in 2006. My son pulled up to standing for the first time during a Mommy and Me class there, and now, years later, he still loves his stuffed Rompy dog. Hes had lots of fun times and encouragement in music, arts and physical skills over the years. Weve found the instructors to be fun, kind and energetic. Romp n Roll has definitely helped make many great childhood memories for my son and our family.

Love this place. The staff is super and very age appropriate activities and equipment is set up to help exercise and strengthen their gross motor skills. They have focused activities for the classes you sign up for and its fun for the grown ups too.

Its everything ! The entire session is guaranteed to keep the kids occupied. Each weeks theme is different and we get to choose what we want like music or art or gym. Both my kids loved romp n roll very much. Its very affordable as well.

We like Romp n Roll. My kid is very much interested in going to the classes everyday. I can see a big improvement in his communication and overall behavior since he started attending the classes. Instructors are very knowledgeable and caring.

Romp n roll west end is one of the best places I’ve taken my child. I have a 2 year old girl and she absolutely loves coming here, she’s never been happier when I tell her we’re going to class. The open gym time is perfect for her also, just some time to go in the gym and run free lol. I STRONGLY recommend Laura! She is an amazing teacher. She interacts so well with kids and has a huge amount of patience! Tumbles tunes for 2-3 year olds is our favorite but we are trying other classes for the fall schedule! Amazing place to bring your young kids and fairly inexpensive, 100% recommend romp n roll and ESPECIALLY recommend Laura😊

Way too expensive and they find so many ways to charge you extra. When you first sign up, theres a registration fee of $40. Want to take more than five classes in a month? Thats not part of the membership and costs extra. Oh you want to cancel? Too bad, youre getting charged an extra month membership anyway. Our policy is we need to charge another billing cycle. Bull****. Never in my life has any service or membership Ive had charged me an extra month after I want to cancel just because.Amazing.

We had a blast yesterday evening. Staff service was exceptional!!! Place was clean. Other than listed services, I noticed the staff took care of my other things voluntarily, e.g.thought came to me about feeding dinner to toddler son, but noticed a staff was already helping him eat his yogurt tube that we brought in for all kids. Even if we have a slightest concern it wouldve been addressed in a blink of an eye. I can see the passion in what they do instead of more of an obligation. They paid personal attention to every kids at the party. We brought in food, so spatulas were cleaned up and zip locked at the end, foil trays packed up, bags and jackets brought back to the lobby. Not just the kids, even adults felt so pampered. Not enough words to express my satisfaction of the party. I am totally amazed and I will cherish the wonderful memory of my sons 2 year old birthday in Romp-n-Roll forever. Thank you Rompy Girls!

Great place for kids! My son adores all the teachers and I love all the cute activities and crafts they plan for them.

Fantastic experience. Did my sons third bday there---could not have been better! Great instructors, terrific programming (i.e. options to choose from), and very easy on the parents.More detailed review--why it was so great. I picked R&R never having been there...but it could not have been better.1. You pay for a # of kids (20) so, while you need to give a # to them as it gets close, it is a better set up than the other minimums I have seen.2. You could choose the activities--we did snowball fight and parachute, which was great for that age (and snowball fight would be great for any age).3. The instructors were great and energetic.4. The parents did not have to lift a finger. We were really able to enjoy the party and talk to other parents. We walked in and handed them the cake, favors, etc, and we walked out with presents already bagged up, leftovers set out for us, etc.5. One of my favorite things about the party is that at R&R, your party takes over the whole place / you are not mixed in with other groups. That makes it a better, more cohesive experience.6. They were very accommodating. After I booked it, I changed it to a joint party (pretty fundamental change), and it was no problem, very smooth and helpful.

I have used Romp n Roll for two years now for my daughters birthdays & couldnt be happier! The place is clean & nice, the instructors are so fun & friendly & amazing with children, & the best part is that they take care of everything so you can just relax and enjoy your childs special day!
