Love this school! Never leaving! My child has been there for 2 years now and we couldnt be happier. They have a huge outdoor nature area with a playground, sledding hills, garden, nature path, compost area... the list goes on. On top of that the staff could not be more patient and loving of all of the children. Annie, the head of the school, is at parent drop off most days and is one of the most wonderful human beings on the planet. Honestly you cannot go wrong by sending your child to school here.

I have been part of this school for 12+ years as a parent and an employee. My child excelled here; he went from age 3 through the elementary program. The staff are very caring. I have always enjoyed positive communication with teachers and administration. While many Montessori schools carry the name, this one truly adheres to the philosophy. I have been part of both traditional private and public schools prior to this school, and I have been grateful to have discovered this particular school.I would encourage everyone to come visit and see for themselves. Meet the director and staff and observe your child in the environment. See if it feels like a good fit for you. Also be sure to observe the outdoor environment-- not only a great play yard, but also used for gardening and many nature experiments and hikes.

I cannot speak highly enough of this school. We came to Montessori Academy after years of homeschooling and it was the perfect transition into a warm, encouraging, and positive environment. I appreciate the child-led learning environment, the opportunities to interact with all age levels, the time they spend outdoors, and the very little homework given (their work is completed during the school day so evenings are for family and fun!). All 3 of my children have thrived in this environment and Im confident they will enter high school with ease.

Our kids have been at MAGE for 4 years now! We absolutely LOVE the school and the teachers/administrators. It is a very inclusive and supportive environment. Our kids have thrived there. There is very little attrition so you see the same families year after year! We will miss it there when our kids graduate!

My family has had children at MAGE for 4 years now. The school has been a great learning environment for my now 4 and 5 year old kids. The staff are very nurturing and caring while still focusing on academic skill development and social development. My kids come home happy each day, excited to show me and tell me what they learned. Both of my kids have thrived in this school given the philosophy of learning and the wonderful, caring staff. I would recommend this school to other families looking for a nurturing environment for their child.

The teachers at MAGE are exceptional ... caring, supportive, and nurturing. They really know my children, as learners and little people trying to figure out this world. They work hard to challenge and inspire them. My wife and I couldnt be happier with the experiences of our two children. I would strongly recommend you stop by and see for yourself the amazing things going on at MAGE.

We had our 3 year old son at Montessori Academy of Glen Ellyn (MAGE) and removed him after he came home with a dislocated arm. We understand accidents happen. However, we were not notified of any injury at the time it occurred or when we picked him up. To this day (weeks later) MAGE has been unable to tell us how or when our son was injured that day. Due to our sons age, he was unable to articulate what happened, but it is obviously unlikely he did this to himself. Due to the lack of information provided by MAGE, the pediatric doctor requested x-rays to eliminate the possibility of a broken bone. After x-rays revealed no broken bones, his arm was adjusted back into place. We were asking for 100% reimbursement of the $530 for the x-rays which was our out-of-pocket after insurance, and MAGE denied our request. We are very dissatisfied with how this was handled.
