We have had our children in Bellas Artes for the last 7 years for both violin and piano, but they teach a lot of other instruments and vocals as well. The school is great as there is a very youthful, energetic culture from the director/owner and the many instructors. They put on parlor recitals in small groups within families homes once a year in the winter, which is fantastic to see and hear music up close. They also do a major recital in the spring. Its a great way for kids to learn music and see the culture of musical enjoyment and serving others by sharing your music.

Bellas Art school is very good. Brian is an excellent Guitar teacher. My son learned a lot from him in one year. I would definitely recommend for the Guitar lessons with Brian.

Bellas Artes is an amazing music school. Both my kids take piano lessons there and they have progressed so much in the two years they have been attending. Justin is the owner and he is always present and willing to help. Rachel and Josh are my kids teachers and they are both kind, encouraging and have high expectations.We just recently had the end of year recital and it was fabulous to see so much talent. Very inspiring.

We love this studio - for piano and also bass. Weve had 6 different music teachers over our time at BA between my kids and we have loved them all. They always put the kids needs first and do a great job communicating with parents.

During the 4 years that we have been attending Bellas Artes, we have found both the teachers and the directors of this school to be exceptional. Although the classes are private, the parlor concerts as well as the end of the year recital, foster a sense of community and give the students the opportunity to celebrate and share what theyve learned. Our daughters consistently express how fun class is and have really learned a lot from their teachers. Since the quarantine in March, the virtual classes have been the highlight of our week. We are so pleased with the entire operation at Bellas Artes. My two children both attend lessons with Joshua - and he meets their distinct personalities and skill levels to guide them with joy. I cant say enough how well he works with both kids, who couldnt be more different.I HATED piano lessons as a child - both of my kids look forward to their lessons. They both voluntarily play throughout the day, which was my biggest dream for when they started lessons.Even through remote learning during COVID-19, the office, staff, and instructors were kind, patient, optimistic, and beyond helpful. They havent missed a beat in adjusting to our current normal due to COVID.

My sons recently participated in the Bellas Artes Jazz camp, and had a BLAST! They both came home laughing, talkative, challenged, and inspired. We loved listening to their conversation about camp, almost as much as they loved the experience of jazz camp.My daughter is a beginning trumpet student. Throughout her first months of study, she has been excited and engaged. We have not had to remind her to practice, or encourage her to persevere. Her lessons with David have consistently offered her all the intellectual, musical, and emotional support she needs to remain motivated.Overall, we love Bellas Artes, and are very, very thankful our kids have each found ways to participate.

I was a teacher here for 4 years before moving out of state. Justin (the director) has a strong vision for how to pass along both the knowledge and the love of music to our students, their families, and the community as a whole. Every single one of the faculty here are incredibly intelligent, skilled, and caring. The students and parents were very good to me there. If youre a teacher looking for a studio that will help you do your best work alongside other great teachers, or if youre a parent looking for a place where teachers will encourage and care for your children, I highly recommend Bellas Artes.

Our son received lessons from the Bellas Artes School of Music through Junior High and all of High School. It was a wonderful experience for him and made a tremendously positive impact on his life. The staff and instructors were very caring and supportive.

Bellas Artes studio is a real gift - what a wonderful music studio. After 10 years of violin instruction from another teacher, my daughter started working with Constance and it has been a 100% positive experience. The studio philosophy is to make learning music joyful and Constance is definitely bringing joy with her teaching style. She is patient and positive. She makes it clear what needs to improve but does it in a way that is motivating and encouraging. We are so happy with our experience at Bellas Artes and with Constance! We would highly recommend them for musicians of all levels.

Bella Artes School of Music has been wonderful for my four boys. We started at Bella Artes right when it began and we have worked with both Justin and Victoria. They are not only extremely talented musicians, but they are also awesome with kids!! Justin has been great for my boys -- they adore him and learn so much. My oldest son recently performed for his entire elementary school at an all-school mass. It was a difficult piece but he played beautifully and I attribute much of that to Justin, his encouragement and his teaching abilities! Bella Artes is a excellent choice for anyone who is looking for a lovely environment to learn beautiful music from talented musicians.

Over the last 5 years, Bellas Artes has done more than teach my daughters piano. They have taught them to appreciate the art of music! They have allowed us to find teachers that fit with each childs personality; and in turn, the instructors have gentle push the girls! In addition, the studio has a safe family friendly environment that is comfortable for all! We are lucky to be a part of such a great place!! We love Bellas-Artes! The teachers excel at combining technique and joyful discovery within an atmosphere of encouragement. My kids LOVE their lessons with Destiney and Constance and, more importantly, are learning to love to play music while being challenged and encouraged. Having such talented musicians who are so gifted in working with kids is such a blessing! Practically speaking, it is great because with 5 kids it is huge to have both piano and violin lessons in the same place, and they are always gracious in working with my schedule. My two boys have been taking guitar/electric bass lessons with Adam Huff for 2 years. They have very different personalities and learning styles. My son who plays acoustic guitar started as a beginner and the other had already taken lessons from another teacher for a year. Adam adjusts his teaching style and demeanor to teach both boys effectively. They each look forward to their 30 minutes with Adam and see him as a mentor/role model. What more could I ask for?!

Bellas Artes School of Music has been a part of our family for 5 years. Its such a joy to watch our girls grow not only in music, but in confidence and poise. The training they are receiving for performance preparations is amazing. The girls are challenged weekly with our practice expectations, but rewarded multiple times a year as they walk off the alter from performing at a concert. Everyone succeeds; Everyone is proud; Everyone is learning.

Theyve got a great location in downtown Glen Ellyn, good teachers who are flexible, can work with parents to adjust schedules and content, or just teach according to how they were taught. Recitals are fun and provide a chance for kids to shoot for goals. Good management thats very open to adjusting and explaining how the business works in order to get the best value for everyone... i.e. more parents, more kids, more music!I could do with a plate of warm chocolate cookies, however. One for the suggestion box...

Have been going here with my son for 3 years. This is a wonderful studio for piano, voice, and strings. Its a great place to grow in music ability and mentorship. I appreciated the theory as much as the performance experience. Gracious owners, helpful staff and family oriented. If you are looking for music instructors, this is the place.

We are now entering our fifth year with Bellas Artes School of Music and we have been thrilled with our experience. The instruction is of the highest quality and uniquely combines both a love and knowledge for the individual child with a disciplined and motivating practice program to ensure their musical progress. Our daughter truly loves her instructor and her viola. She is now at the stage where she willing practices her instrument and demonstrates a real passion for music--this didnt happen over night, but it is a testimony to her instructor that she has reached this point. We have been at Belles Artes off and on for five years and have so enjoyed being a part of this community. The school is unique in that they hold true to their beautiful philosophy that music is a gift to be learned and given. The teachers are professional and friendly. The administrative end is efficient and great at communicating payment schedules and events.

Bellas Artes is a real gem. The instructors are very professional and skilled, yet warm and genuine. We have always gotten very prompt responses to questions or concerns, from the owner/administrator and instructors. My daughters interest in practicing violin goes up and down, but her instructor is very open and helpful with new ideas, both our ideas and hers, and my daughter loves going to lessons. My son is joining the Musikgarten program and I know he will get a great foundation that is built on love of music and sincere caring for the individual. We have recommended Bellas Artes to friends, and will continue to do so!

I would HIGHLY recommend the Bellas Artes School of Music to anybody interested in taking music lessons in Glen Ellyn. Charming and cozy ambient, great teachers and very welcoming and friendly owner. I love the idea of kids not just learning to play and read music, but getting more complex musical education with listening assignments from Miss Serenity and doing little research about famous composers (my daughter is a begginer). Bellas Artes has almost become our home away from home. All three of our children take lessons there (violin, guitar, voice and musicgarten) and we truly could not be more pleased in the quality of instruction their receive every week! When our oldest daughter came to us and asked if she could please take violin lessons four years ago, we were not only surprised but also delighted but then the search began for a music studio. Where should we go? We were clueless but instantly felt like Bellas Artes was the place for us, after talking to Justin. Miss Constance, Mr. Brown, Miss Suzanna and Miss Destiney have been wonderful instructors for our children and we have so enjoyed watching them learn and grow and become excited about music and performing. We couldnt be happier!

Bellas Artes is a wonderful music school. We are starting our 5th year of home piano lessons and cant say enough on how great it has been. Destiney has been our teacher for the past two years and she is the best piano teacher I have met. We are so fortunate that we get to continue to work with Destiney again this year. Destiney has developed my two girls 11 and 13 yrs old into amazing piano players! What I love the most about Bellas Artes is that their approach is so individualized to each kid and family. They have inspired my girls to want to play the piano all the time!
