Low integrity!! My husband became very ill and was unable to complete our lessons. Even though we had paid and had a legitimate reason for not continuing, they refused to refund our money. They are dishonest and lied about what happened when I tried to pursue a refund. No communication with us at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Fred Astaire Arrowhead is the best of the best. Ballroom dancing is something I never saw myself doing, and it was a little scary walking through that door for the first time, but the owner and the staff made me feel so welcome, and at ease, and here I am a little over seven years later still having as much fun as I did on my first lesson! And I’ve also met some great people and had many memorable experiences along the way at the many events that they have. I only wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to start; it is honestly one of the best things I have ever done for myself. And I couldn’t have picked a better place than Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Arrowhead!

My fiance and I came to prepare ourselves for our first dance. We could not be more pleased. Alain Keller was our teacher and he really tailored the course to our wants/needs and equipped us with everything that we needed to succeed on our big day. We only purchased a 5 class plan since we will be moving soon, but if we were staying in the area we would definitely continue using Mr. Keller and Fred Astaire - Arrowhead.

I would give negative stars if possible. I planned to come here to take lessons with my fiance and father before my wedding. We did not want to start ball room dancing or learn the fox trot; just something very simple. We made this very clear before arriving to the studio and at the studio before the lesson began. I only wanted two lessons with my fiance and two with my dad. My fiance and I had 45 minutes booked and walked out after 20 minutes. The instructor began by giving us a tour of the one room studio(including the reception desk where we had already signed in). I felt that it was cutting into the limited time that we paid for so I asked him if we could get started. He seemed to take offense to this. I explained up front that I would not like to sign up for more classes. I only wanted the two but he kept insisting that we need to take more. All he was was a salesman at this point.. We started with very simple steps which were actually helpful. He then placed us in position and began pushing us around the room. We asked two times to pause in order to get the steps right and he refused to lets us stop. This went on for five minutes and then he began to explain that it was already 20 minutes in to our session and we havent learned anything. He was trying to prove a point that we would need more than two lessons. I understand that complex dances take a great amount of commitment and time, but this is not what we had paid for. All we wanted were basics and to actually learn those basics. This might be a decent place for committed dancers but I would never recommend this to anyone looking for wedding lessons. They were overall rude and wasted my time. I didnt even bother going back with my father.

I have been taking dancing training at Fred Astaire Arrowhead Studio in Glendale for several years. The teachers are held to a high standard and must demonstrate multiple levels of knowledge in dance figures for both lead and follow positions for a multitude of both smooth and rhythm dances. The teachers go above and beyond just teaching and partnering for events, they are with us every step of the way from hair and makeup to the VIP after party and make students experience exceptional. Taking dance training at this studio has enriched my and my husbands lives and they have become family. They care about the students and their experiences.

They cant keep a teacher, rude owner, and too pricey for their quality. We learned a lot there, but I wish we started started somewhere else. We recently joined a new studio, way better, comparable prices
