Not only was the school and its recruiting representatives kind, warm, and welcoming-- but this school TRULY tries to accommodate you in every manner possible. From the financial aid, to the study/school materials, to the ACTUALY education portion-- you will not be disappointed. This isnt one of those colleges that is hungry for your money, they truly care about you as an individual and doing what you can to become the best you can be. Take the time to take the phone call if you are interested in their specific programs, I promise you will not be disappointed. I cant wait to make a career out of what Im learning here.

The school is so unorganized. The teachers are so rude and unprofessional. I talked for months with the externship coordinator asking about externship and if they would be able to find me something that works around my work schedule. And for months I was told not to worry that they would find me something. Flash forward to externship week and they couldn’t find me nothing and ended up just unenrolling me from the program. Without any kind of conversation or options for me considering I spent all this money and time getting through the program. And when I reached out to see why I was unenrolled I was met with attitude. I feel like I wasted my money and time and really wish I never enrolled in this school! My thoughts are they lied to me from the very beginning so I would continue paying to go there. And then my last session they just drop me because it’s no way I can do anything now about all the loans I took out to go there.

The enrollment advisors almost definitely make commission based on how fast they rush you through the enrollment process. When you tell them you just wanted information and would like to withdraw your enrollment that you thought was just an application, the enrollment advisor tries to guilt trip you using phrases like Im at a loss for words and I dont know how to talk to you right now. I find it very unprofessional for anyone in any position of power to use phrases like that, especially when its not their financial state on the line. I cant afford the almost $16,000 itd cost to go to this school for 9 months, and they dont seem understanding of the fact that not everyone is made of money. I dont think Id recommend this to school anyone, and I will never be considering this school in the future.

Attended this school 6 years ago. I had some good and bad experiences. I’d like to first off say that some of the instructors were very helpful and some could be unprofessional. I was in the pharmacy technician program. It seemed to be helpful to me taking a lot of notes and studying just about every day to pass all my quizzes. At the end of the 5 or 6 weeks, we had to take exams. If you plan on coming here just keep in mind that you have your heart and soul in it because without that you won’t pass or move forward. I say that because at the time of being there there were a few times I wanted to drop out because of people that were being childish and selfish in class. What do I mean by that? Fighting over a fan when it was very hot outside. You could literally feel the heat coming in the windows. A few Chics were fighting and bickering over the fan. (Amongst gossiping about other classmates and or having conversations when we were instructed that we had to take notes, homework, etc) I know that’s besides the point, but this college is like a high school in many ways. Anywho I have to pay 15K and had I known, that you don’t need to have schooling 6 years ago to be a Pharmacy Tech.... I would have never put myself through the headaches and stress I endured there. In one way though, it was a educational experience that I will always remember. Please do your due diligence to find the right school that doesn’t just see you as $$$$. I also do remember an Instructor passed away from a Heart attack at home, he was very much loved and will be missed by many including myself. To end my review, if you decide this school is the right fit for you, make sure you take your state board exam right away. The sooner you take it, the better it is for you and your future. To be successful with any program there, dedicate and apply yourself 110%. If I could go back in a time machine, I would have not attended this campus at all. Good Luck on your Future and Education. Thank you for teaching us Ms. Hall. (Jackie Hall) (Miss. Hoopes was also at the time the Pharmacy Director and last that I’ve heard she now works somewhere else) Please seek all other alternatives and choices, because this is not the only campus that can educate you on well.....your future healthcare Career. The teachers are WONDERFUL. They truly care about the students success. I am in the Massage therapy program. Everyone from the directors to financial aid to the lady at the front desk has been so helpful and kind. Its such a shame that people only write reviews when theyve had a bad experience. I regret going to this school every day and today is no different. The teachers are vindictive and even though the school promised to work with my busy work schedule, if you miss 1 assignment teachers WILL NOT work with you, and they seem to enjoy your failure. Im almost graduated with a good GPA but it could have been better with teachers who actually inspire instead of hold back. Even with covid theres no room for them to work with you. Half the teachers employed dont know what theyre talking about either, having to google half the things theyre teaching and leaving stuff out of the curriculum thats in the exams. Not to mention half of our classes are on youtube. What a joke.

I did the 6 month medical assisting program a couple years ago looking back Im glad I did it. The educators here actually really took interest in your well being. In our world of failing healthcare its a sobering feeling to know that if I need to buck up and take care of myself or friends, I could do it. The Mrs Cesmas and Miss Katansase and Mr. Grays really made this place a joy looking back. Im sure most have moved on but this schools mission statement still stands. Settle with the fact that their is no such thing as a perfect program and yes the clicking high heels of admissions reps is annoying but down the hall are some genuinely kind educated genuine people. You most certainly will be able to connect with in this life and life in general.

I went to college here and finished with honors. I truly believe a MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT could complete the work that was given. The professors DO NOT TEACH, they read you slide shows and you copy the slides down on paper. I had my whole degrees materials within the first week. They say they change the course materials but they only change verbiage, nothing important is changed. This college is a TEACH YOURSELF PROGRAM. I would not recommend this school to anyone that is not a visual independent learner, it will not benefit you. If you like sitting for 4 hours copying text from a projector this is for you.UPDATE:I work in the medical field: we have students from here. I am so disgusted and disappointed with this program. I hate listing it on my resume and or application because of the reputation it has developed amongst the West Valley practitioners.

This has to be the worst unprofessional school ever. I would like to start with the fact I went to this “school” for medical billing and coding program. Everything was fine tell I went a whole trimester with no teacher what so ever and the only one in my program. Nobody told me anything or what to do so I wouldn’t even show up half the time because well “I had no teacher” obviously I passed that class with an A. Problem number 2 Arizona college refuses to give me my diploma I gave them my debit card and information so they can take my payment out all the information they had was wrong even my phone number address email address everything was off I even wrote it down for them!!! so long story short they didn’t take my information. I also had an issue with the billing department bringing up my money issues in front of the other faculty. again, totally inappropriate. My externship was also terrible and I begged and pleaded with Lisa beaman to move me somewhere else because it was not working out and how uncomfortable I was there but she refused to listen to reason tell we had a meeting with the whole staff about it which was humiliating to me. Then theirs front staff who refuses to answer any of my emails at all and I have to literally go down there because I know I won’t hear from them.Iv cried because the job I was hoping for wouldn’t take me because I couldn’t prove I graduated from Arizona college. They wanted an actual diploma from an accredited school.

Overall a great school. The biggest downside is that if you cant make it to class, most teachers will make a big deal over missing a day or missing about 30 minutes of class. $16,000 dollars for a program for 7 months. You will be responsible for!!!The school is run down, dirty and they hire instructors who dont know the material or who can even pronounce words!!!! If you dont mind paying $16k out of your own pocket, teaching yourself this is the place. Financial aid cant fix paperwork, advisors dont return calls in a timely manner. First day of class they give us no books, so the first day is social hour yet you will have a quiz in 3 days on nothing that you learned. The sessions are 5 weeks long and you will take 4-5 quizzes, 2 exams and a final all in 5 weeks. Keep this in mind while they dip into your pocket and lay you out for a $16k loan that will take you TEN years to pay off!!! Do NOT come here. Research your colleges. MAs make minimum wage $10.50 an hour yet they will tell you its more, its NOT. Remember that minimum wage job you just went to school for carries a $16,000 debt and 10 YEARS to pay off!!! Do not do it!!!I was in the pharmacy program. All a joke.

The best part about going to Arizona College is that the programs are accelerated and will get you through quicker than any other technical school I looked into. The worst part is that its not like a typical college, instead your treated like your in grade school. Another downfall is that some instructors care and some dont which makes it very hard for the students to get the education they are paying for. I thought I would want to come back and do a different program but not anymore, not this school. I dont have too many positive remarks to make. Theres few instructors that I have personally come across that actually care and have the passion for your success. I am thankful that I am nearly through with going to this school, what a disappointment.

This college is probably the most toxic college i have ever step foot in.The equipment they use is so out of date, they dont even have desktops for students...Everything from the Network to the keyboards, mice, chairs and tables are all garbage.Literally you would get more for you money throwing it out of a moving vehicle. The Instructors do not prepare their lesson before class, they talk negatively behind their students backs int he faculty room, it literally boggled my mind to hear some of things they say about their students. Most of the nursing staff is 50+ and have no idea what a chrome cast is let alone LOG into their computer accounts. They can barely walk they are so over weight. They have no idea how to administer web based tests. They just hope it works the day of the test and if it doesnt you have to wait for the IT guy to fix it.Take a tour before you get their and look at the facility. Look at the tables and classroom environment.. I seriously doubt a degree from here hold any weight in the medical field.Go to PMI if you want to get a degree. This place will just take your money and talk about you and your drama to the rest of the faculty

I graduated in 2015 from the dental assisting program the school itself is pretty good, its a very fast paced school, youre basically learning something new every 2 weeks! Which is great! I have to say Mrs. Char the program director of the dental assisting program is amazing! She helped me so much when I was in school. Ms. Schroder one of the instructors there is also amazing! I had the best experience at my externship, it was literally 10 minutes away from my house which made it super convenient. After a year of being out of school & working as a dental assistant I still have contact with Mrs. Char & Ms. Schroder they have been so helpful! I started my course there November 9th 2015, i was a really good student, was always scoring 90s on my exams, doing excellent in class and hardly ever missed class unless i really had too. I had 2 more months left and decided to take a leave because i was working, had a newborn baby and was just starting to feel overwhelmed. When i tried to return Irma Delarosa does not call back, i have walked in 3 times trying to re-enroll but Irma states she needs to feel like im reliable. I dont understand why its up to her if i can come back or not? Its MY money. Every conversation ive had with her she has an excuse as to why im not able to return. Not only that Many of the instructors are friends of Irmas. I had an instructor who never had experience in the medical field she finished school and became an instructor right away. They fired a really good instructor and told everyone. I was put in a position where one of my instructors became best friends with a student who did not like me and they instructor treated me poorly because of it. When i decided to switch classes so i could be treated better and get efficient training, the instructor ENGAGED in starting rumors about me WITH THE STUDENTS. Students became friends with instructors and students knew about other students business because of that. A SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL SCHOOL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE. Not to mention youre paying 10k to only make 12 - 13$ an hour. I had an instructor tell me youre at the bottom of the chain, youre not going to make more than 12.00$ an hour WHAT KIND OF MOTIVATION IS THAT ?!?!

I am a current student about to go to externship in a week. I love the school n my program but one problem. Me and my friend carpool from buckeye, and while I have found an extern site near my house (pharmacy) my friend (dental) had a site in northern. That is completely inconvenient from her as I can not take her. She had talked to the extern lady who I do not want to say publicly, and she couldnt find one close to buckeye where they have a contract with and if she cant make it to her externship out in northern she would have to drop out and wait and have to pay the registration fee again. She was rude and inconsiderate. She could have tried to get a contract with another location but she did not and refused to look even now. My friends program director even said shed go out to buckeye to look but the extern lady just said it wasnt worth it. So basically she told my friend to drop out because she couldnt find a place for her! I cant believe this. I am talking to her boss tomorrow she was rude and a straight jerk. I attended Arizona college in 2014 to 2015 in the evenings. I completed 3 different programs in that time. I started off in the Medical Assistant program. I really enjoyed all the classes and the speediness of the program. All of the instructors were awesome. The instructors were super friendly and very passionate about their field. Every instructor came from different back grounds and different areas of the medical field. Witch was great because that provided a lot of extra knowledge that went above and beyond all the classes. The instructors even made the mundane and not so great classes fun and exciting. After my externship I bridged into the AOS program. This was a bit different. All the classes were actual college classes but it didn’t seem like it because of the great instructors. The instructors made a lot of the classes feel manageable. The adjunct teachers were also fantastic. Those instructors just seemed to add to the already astonishing group of instructors that were teaching. As I was a few weeks away from finishing the AOS program I was approached about the phlebotomy program. I was asked if I was interested in being in the first group of students to take the program. The program was a very short, only a session long. That did not take away at all from the course though. The instructor who taught the course was one of the best instructors I have ever had. From when we started class to when we were done for the night we cranked out work. We would do our daily readings and course work, then do hands of phlebotomy work, and usually end the class when group studying. Best course I had taken as Arizona College.Working with all of the other staff was great too. I am a veteran and everyone was supper helpful with applying for my GI Bill. Financial Aid was also great, with just being super helpful, and on point. I had no problems with my extern coordinator. They were super helpful and worked with me every step of the way. I also like how the school would take suggestions on improving their campus. When I started the trash cans in the break room were always over filled so I suggest bigger trash cans and two days later, bigger trash cans. Putting suggestions into actions like, really is spectacular because it shows that they listen. What I didn’t like about the College as a whole though was how the instructors had very little power over their class rooms. A lot of the students who attend Arizona College are fresh out of high school. That made lot of the classes in the programs very hard because the immaturity of some other students was disgusting. Students would go running to the program director and complain about instructors due to feelings being hurt after the instructor would tell them to get off their phone or to quiet down. Then watching the instructors be reprimanded about it after wards is just mind boggling. It almost made a lot of the classes feel like high school part-two. The school is very light on a lot of things too. In the AOS program were a student was caught cheating, would also show up all the time with stained scrubs, holes in their scrubs, and would be reeking of cannabis to the point it was distracting. The student was later removed from the program but after 6 sessions of this and in my opinion that is way too long. It was embarrassing as a student to see other students like that and in other colleges you don’t like 4 or 5 chances like that. Everyone is an adult at that school and the school needs to treat everyone as such. From my time attending Arizona College 100 percent of the medical assistant instructors had changed. I was there even longer than the night program director and assistant director. That was kind of odd to me. Even most of the other staff had changed out while I was attending. In the end though I would recommend all the programs I went through to anyone. It can be hard at times with the call room policies, but nowhere have I seen more passionate instructors that are eager to teacher.

I attended Arizona College to become a LMT and I was very happy with my decision for many reasons. There was a very professional learning environment provided by all the directors and teachers. When I had any problems or concerns that came up I never had to hesitate to take them directly to my director and they were immediately taken care of. We were given additional opportunities to learn outside of school. For example, when the fair was in town we were able to drive over together as a class and attend a bodies exhibit which was a really cool and a very educational experience. We were also provided with the opportunity to attend a cadaver lab on a weekend together where I learned SO MUCH. My director was constantly working and looking for ways to help her students be as successful as they could be in their future jobs. The school was also really good to reward their students for working hard and having good attendance with annual pizza parties and other things like that. When it came time to fill out the paper work for my license Arizona College helped me with all of it on site. I was able to get my fingerprint card and passport photo done at the school so there was no hassle or waiting in lines elsewhere. When I graduated I was a little worried that it would take me a while to find a job but I had no reason to worry. The second my license was processed, Heather Millward, from the career services department called me to ask if she could start sending my resume to potential employers after I had given her a description of places I would be interested in working at. Within 24 hours I had received many calls and e-mail from people asking me to come interview with them. I was able the choose exactly where I wanted to work! Im working today as a LMT and I love my job! I feel that my decision to attend Arizona College was a great decision and I would recommend this school anyone who is looking for a place that will help them be successful in what they want to do.

This is by far the worst school ever. Some teachers genuinely care about you. Others only care about themselves, and the rest do a darn fine job in covering there beloved teachers. Its disgusting it really is. When my classmate made a complaint about her teacher erasing test scores and changing the students grades, so the teacher would look better. My classmate was given so much crap from teachers, after that. Then shockingly she that teacher she complained about, never got into trouble. Its was sickening..not only did the whole class pass with great grades, all of the class walked out of the term not knowing crap about what they were supposed to know. Not only did this happen, more then half of our class hasnt been able to find jobs. Career services is even worse. They send you on internships where the offices prefer to use the free labor and no hire. Its been almost a year and none of us have been able to find jobs in the field we went to school in. Then to make it better, even though weve been able to get extensions of our school federal loans, due to no job and hardships, the school will not budge. They want there part of the loan. They want it, but have no clue on how to help you get a job. During my time there we where told how great the career services was, blah blah blah, but then we found out the truth. The only reason why this place has a great hire rate after school. Its because they send you to a call center, with a temp agency ReMax. They send all of there students over to this place for a job. Answering calls. You dont need any kind of degree to answer a phone. While at ReMax, you will meet so many other AZ College students who are just as pissed. If you dont go and apply everywhere, your lovely career lady will send you links to Craigslist adds (probably already applied to them). I have other friends who went to Everest and Brownie, they graduated with jobs, and they will proudly recommend those schools. I have stopped people who were wanting to tour this school, and have sent them to these schools. I wish I would of chosen the longer commute over the short five minute drive to go to this school. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ALL THIS SCHOOL CARES ABOUT IS THE FACULTY GETTING A PAYCHECK AND SOCIALIZING WITH THE STUDENTS!!!!!!! Then to make it even better, I had to go back to work in a field that I went to school to get away from. While there Ive had a few customers tell me they wont even hire AZ College graduates, because previous students have complained too much of how the school is ran. My customers have told me that they will hire from other schools, since the students come out happy and have nothing but good things to say. I wish I would of known these customers along time ago. It would of helped me so much.
