Barcelona Middle School just keeps getting better and better! The staff on this campus is outstanding! They are dedicated, creative, and true professionals. The culture on this campus is all about positive growth.

I have been teaching at Barcelona Middle School for the past 5 years and I have seen the AMAZING change the campus, the students, the teachers, and the administration have gone through to make our campus a safe and engaging place of learning. As a teacher at this school it is truly BMS 180: Focus on Success: Every Student Every Day!

This a horrible school all around. I used to attended this school years ago and my little sister attends there now . And shes been harassed many times and is very un called for . The teachers dont do there job the principles dont do there jobs either the school is dirty and they have no control and let little kids like my little sister get bullied . I honestly think this school needs to be shut down . Or under new control that ACTUALLY cares for there kids . They need teachers who will ACTUALLY teach . They need morals . They need to change all around . This is pathetic . Worst school i have ever came across. DO NOT LET YOUR KID GO TO BARCELONA MIDDLE SCHOOL

Went there as a kid. Ausome school dedicated staff. Good mission and goals. Up until i went to juvee i went to school here. Also check out Barcelona Dayz on Facebook for the Barcelona community of people who went there. Might find someone you know.

I got expelled when I was there but I had alot of fun running wild.

The principle must have no idea whats going on or just approves of it. First off : the kids only get 15 minutes to eat and then are thrown out in the heat. Also there was an incident last when a teacher took out her anger on my younger brothers class and had a mental breakdown and kicked the kids out in the heat, my brothers eyes were bloodshot, he was sweating uncontrollably, was dying of thirst(he said they arent allowed to drink water or use the restroom during class which is also ridiculous) and couldnt breathe, he barely made it home without passing out (we live across the street) he was sick for about a week after. They couldnt even properly handle the teachers behavior, instead they defended her. My brother is not a bad kid. My sister who also attends this school is also mistreated by her teachers especially her math teacher who is excessively mean to her and has yelled at her for just sitting there, she claimed you made a face at me, admit it you are wrong! Admit it!! You made faces at me!! To my sister, again we called and nothing was properly done. That same teacher speeds like a psycho in the morning while texting and driving, she almost ran us over. Well Alhambra district doesnt have aby school zone signs or speed bumps to protect your kids anyway. When i made a review on the district page, the principle stalked my personal Facebook and called our parents harassing saying to take my review down and that if i didnt tell her to come have a talk with me if she has any problems with the way i run the school is what the principle said. At one point the school was enforcing running in the hot sun as detention rather than making the kids study in a room with a/c. Theres so many things wrong with this school, kids making out and intimately touching each other and exposing body parts on campus is also a major issue, we see it going to pick up my brother and sister. Yet the principle is blind to everything or defends the teachers wrong doings. This is a poor excuse for a school and hopefully the board and SI can look into the issues going on with the school. Also it would be nice if they had school zone signs, people dont even stop for the kids nor slow down.

Great school with a staff that really cares for kids.

The teachers truly care about the whole child.

I love Barcelona it is an amazing school and I hope everyone else loves it to.

I dislike it there I cant wait to switch schools I hate getting bullied I hate teachers making students making me feel like I dont belong or Im not smart
