Ive been with Phoenix Chos since it has opened in 2004. I have trained since I was four and reached my Black belt when I was 10 thanks to the help of the wonderful instructors at Phoenix Chos! I have had such a great experience! All of the classes are great everything from the Panther classes to Adult classes. Teaches kids responsibility and not only the chance to learn but to also teach others too! All around a great program for everyone!

I trained at Phoenix Chos from its inception in 2004 until I moved away for college a couple years later. Youd be hard pressed to find better instruction and curriculum from a martial arts school in the valley. At Phoenix Chos, they do a great job of blending traditional Tae Kwon Do with modern fighting techniques. They also bring in a instructors from other arts to further build upon their students discipline and techniques. Best part is they build a true sense of community and camaraderie by building personal relationships, celebrating birthdays, hosting holiday parties, etc. (If you are looking for something beyond just practicing martial arts). Even though I no longer attend the school, I have maintained contact with the Corupes. I still carry that sense of community and pride for Phoenix Chos that was instilled in me all those years ago. I would definitely recommend this to people of any age or ability.

The culture here is one for any skill level and age . The family run atmosphere helps everyone feel comfortable while learning Tae Kwon Do. They teach discipline and patience. Instructors are willing to take extra time to help all students grow and prosper. Highly recommend this dojang to anyone looking to start martial arts or continue their journey.

Truly the best in the valley. Family owned, very friendly, flexible and caring. They will treat your kid to the best and help them progress to the top of their abilities. My 5 year old spent an amazing year here gaining a lot of confidence and becoming so much calmer and focused at school. She is the youngest of the Kindergarten class as she started before turning 5 and Mr and Mrs Corupe helped her gain so much confidence and strength throughout the year. When I saw my daughter having so much fun on a dojo, I become interested, now I take kickboxing classes with Mark (the Corupes son). The best decision I ever made. Mark has tons of experience and knowledge, the best instructor/personal trainer I have ever met. I highly recommend this place!! Go for it!

Our son goes here, he had learned great discipline and respect from the instructors. Also, the instructors work really well with their students. Its fun to watch the kids learn!
