Cultural Bytes director Jackie and staff are awesome. I really appreciate everyones enthusiasm and patience with young kids. My son has attended the online classes and Saturday camp. He is always excited to learn Spanish and he is already picking things up at his young age. I will definitely continue classes with them.

We are bilingual but not of Spanish heritage. Living in souther California we felt it’s important for him to speak the native language 😊. Pleasantly just after few weeks of camp, he appears more confident, eager to show off with friends and family and sings in Spanish at home regularly. It is such a delight to see him blend with confidence!We are very proud of him and absolutely appreciate all the hard work you and your staff put in to make this rich experience through blending and exposure possible for our future generations!Keep up the great work and see you soon for more cultural immersion!

This is the first year our boys(ages 6&9) attended Cultural Bytes. They attended the entire 6 weeks and initially were not looking forward to a full immersion Spanish Language camp.That being said, after the first week they came home excited to return to camp the next day. During the weekend, they ask if the weekend was almost over, and ask when will they return to Spanish camp. Fridays are optional but our boys insisted on attending Fridays as well. They really had a blast, and are speaking some Spanish and singing songs in Spanish around the house.Señora Jackie (the director) is very organized which we really appreciate. She is also very enthusiastic, caring, and you can tell she is very passionate about the children. Not only their learning, but their overall well being. The counselors are also very nice, caring and always enthusiastic to see the kids. Our boys love Manuela, and they always have wonderful things about their other counselors, and how much fun they are. They offer a variety of activities that engage all the children no matter their interest.We are so grateful for our experience with Cultural Bytes and will definitely return next summer.

This is one of the best spanish immersion programs in the area. They are fun, the teachers are dynamic and the owner is a native spanish speaker. We have tried other programs that are closer and more expensive, and have not been happy at all.

Mrs. Jackie and her staff are great at what they do. They really value parent input and feedback in designing their program to best suit students. My children have all good things to report about their time at Spanish camp. Their passion to teach is evident in how dedicated they are to the families they serve. The environment in this program is very positive, inviting and focused on student success. Highly recommend!

Great way to learn a new language and understand the culture. Working with Jackie and her teachers online was such a unique and refreshing experience for my daughters. Taking the Spanish language classes was so much fun for my girls, I don’t know what you did Jackie to get them excited and learning, but keep it up! Unfortunately for me they enjoy showing off their conversation skills and this German has a hard time keeping up.Love that through the power of the Internet someone in Glendale, California can teach someone here in Texas.Next up, one of the in person summer camps!!!!

We feel so lucky to have found this magical place. Our daughter started Spanish immersion kindergarten in GUSD during Covid and did the whole school year online. We were looking for a Summer program that would truly immerse her in the language and culture in ways she missed-out on during distance learning. Cultural Bytes is full immersion which enhances her learning, but moreover, we found this place to be full of a loving staff that truly cares about offering the kids a fun, loving, kind, and diverse environment. They offer a solid program that is clearly well thought-out and were confident that our little girl will have the best summer experience while learning Spanish and making new friends. My son had so much fun in taking a a Spanish class online with Cultural-Bytes. We signed up just to try it, and see if it was better than typical classroom learning. It was engaging, interactive, and made learning so much more fun. He is really excited about taking French now, and also going to Summer Camp in Los Angeles. Such a delightful and fun experience for my little one! she enjoyed the free flowing class, it kept her interest and challenged her. Its hard to find a developmentally appropriate exciting class for young intermediate Spanish learners. Im so glad I discovered this! This company is a GEM!

Amazing summer camp for my grandkids 8 and 5 years old.I’ll recommend it. They had a lot of fun,met friends and had a wonderful experience.

As a native Spanish speaker, I am so grateful for ViLaCa from Cultural Bytes. My daughters have learned many interesting things about Spanish-speaking countries through delicious recipes, stories, art, and books. I love the warm-up exercises they do at the beginning of each session and how the activities unfold. The teachers are enthusiastic and friendly. ViLaCa is a wonderful resource to enrich the culture in our children. Without a doubt, the best program for Spanish-speaking children!

Cultural Bytes what a gem. I was looking for my kids to learn Spanish this summer and they have such a great online learning platform. I have two children that share the same Spanish teacher during there 1 hour Zoom class. There 5 hour package is the best deal. My kids Spanish keeps improving week after week. We began French tutoring sessions for my daughter over zoom and it’s been going great! Very engaging and understanding of how children need rewards to stay motivated. It is a warm nurturing atmosphere that promotes immersion, meaning my daughter didn’t speak English for the entire tutoring session! It was great and I highly recommend it.

We have really enjoyed online tutoring with Sandrine over the summer and are currently doing the French immersion camp in person. Its been wonderful. My daughters have had so much fun with Sandrine and the rest of the team. They have done a great job making sure everything is safe and having a great time. I would highly recommend both online tutoring and in person camps!

My son just started taking 1-1 Mandarin classes and even though I was so nervous about how it would go, he loves it! He really likes the way the teacher doesn’t speak English, but provides other cues for him to know what she is saying. He felt like the 30 min class was so quick and has asked to do the 60 min even!After class, without prompting, he went and made flashcards so he would remember what he learned.Looking forward to also trying Spanish classes which is why we first started, but my son is hooked on Mandarin for the moment!

We were with Cultural Bytes for several years in a school setting, the Spanish teacher was wonderful and my daughter really loved it. Now, she is taking French classes and enjoying them as well. Ms. Sandrine makes class fun, I hear them both laughing during the lesson. After class my daughter tells me all about the words and songs she has learned. Thank you Cultural Bytes teachers and Senora Jackie for making the adjustment to online learning.

Jackie and Valentina have been excellent teachers and very well organized. My daughter absolutely loves going to her class and looks forward to it every week. They seem to do quite a wonderful job at teaching the students in a fun, interactive way, all while using a full-immersion technique, without the kids feeling intimidated or nervous. A truly wonderfully produced program that is highly recommend!

Our daughters have been enrolling with this camp for 3 years now and are thrilled when summer comes to see their teachers and friends. Their Spanish after the 6 week week camp is much stronger year to year. The girls have so much fun that they ask us to pick them up at the end of the day. No early pickups for them! My husband and I were looking for a good summer camp for our busy, not so easy to please 6 year old when we came across Cultural Bytes. We were thrilled with the idea of him improving his Spanish, which he understands but refuses to speak. Even though we were unsure if he would like the program, we decided to give it a chance and we are very happy we did! He loves the program and he is actually making an effort to speak Spanish. Señora Jackie and all the teachers at Cultural Bytes are very nice and prepared. They keep the kids entertained and make the learning process fun. They have been very patient and understanding with my energetic boy. So much that he is now begging to come back next year!

This is my first Saturday Camp with Cultural Bytes, my children are 3, and 5 and can honestly say they love it! Though this is my daughters first camp, I am fully informed on how great this program is. Like any language it does take time to learn however the teachers at cultural bytes along with their curriculum does a great job and making language learning fun, and effective. Highly recommend !

Cultural- Bytes has very friendly teachers that adapts to the children. Took my 2 nieces 9 and 5 and nephew 4 years of age. They came out super excited ready to go back again for next weeks class. They were singing in French and they told me they had fun in a full immersion class. Thank you Cultral- Bytes. I recommend this program it fun, educational and innovative.

My 6 year old son has LOVED this program! He is not a native speaker, but is learning so much and will come home and sing us songs in Spanish and even answer some questions in Spanish. Its such a gift for him to be able to learn Spanish and I am hoping the foundation that hes getting will allow him to become fluent as he grows and practices. The teachers were kind, rewarded his hard work and their creativity made him want to come back each day! :)

My 6 year-old enjoys one-on-one online French tutoring with Sandrine.

Our 8 year old loved the program and was able to grasp a lot of Spanish vocabulary during the 6 weeks. We look forward to the next season over Winter. Great job - teachers and the entire crew at Cultural Bytes.

We have been touring/trialing Spanish immersion classes for my 4.5 year old and Cultural Bytes stood out in so many ways.1) My daughter LOVED it! This is the most important part. If they are enjoying themselves they will learn more. Out of all the programs we tried this is the only one she asked to come back to.2) Options- they offer summer camp/winter camp and Saturday classes. Other programs that I looked into are only 1 hour classes and/or offer only summer camp. We are not a spanish speaking household so she needs more than just an hour to really help her learn/maintain the language.3) Immersion- It May seem intimidating to us as adults, but it’s the best way to learn! Some programs translate or speak in english/Spanish and it doesn’t force their brains to do the work.4) Age appropriate- The divide the kiddos into age appropriate groups to ensue they are at the right level, and they are offering a toddler camp this year and I am looking forward to my 2.5 yr old being able to attend too!Cultural Bytes gets 5 stars from my family! We look forward to spending the summer with you.

Hi Miss Jackie I just want to thank you for these weeks that were fun and learning for my daughter at the Spanish Academy of the El Monte district. All the teachers are great but teacher Emily is terrific. If we would like to be back at the academy again in the fall but online preferable. Thank you very much for all the blessings.

I am more than grateful for this program ... My son was the first time in Mandarin class and he loved it. Now I had the opportunity to put my 2 children (one 4 and one 5 years old) in Spanish class and I am amazed with the results, a shame that everything had to end before but I hope this type of classes can continue Go ahead thanks to the Mountain View School District and all the collaborators in the classes.
