This district does not value or care about All the students. My children have gone to their school for 6 years and each year gets worse and worse. Bullies are not delt with or expelled. Employees that continue to break the rules are still employed there. Dress code is definitely NOT enforced. Booty shorts are allowed? REALLY? ARE YOU GOING TO PROVIDE TOILET SEAT COVERS TO THE STUDENTS THAT HAVE TO SIT IN THE SAME CHAIR AS THESE H.I.T.?GET SOME BACKBONE PEOPLE! OR SHOULD I SAY OVER RATED EMPLOYEES. Students and parents discriminate. IF YOU ARE WHITE OR AMERICAN, THE PARENTS THAT ARE MEXICAN, MIDDLE EASTERN , OR EVEN ANY SPANISH SPEAKING RACE WILL INSTANTLY DISLIKE YOU. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE A KIND RESPECTFUL LOVING PERSON. IF YOU ARE WHITE OR AMERICAN THEY WILL BE DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE TO YOU. ON TOP OF ALL THIS, THEY TEACH THEIR CHILDREN TO HATE AMERICANS AND WHITE PEOPLE AS WELL.. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT MANY TIMES. MY CHILDREN GET UPSET ABOUT GOING TO SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GETTING TREATED WITH EQUALITY. IVE SEEN IT MANY TIMES WHEN MY CHILDREN TRY TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THEM THEY ARE TREATED WITH RUDENESS.

I had the displeasure of. Meeting with Dr. Koba. Who didnt do much. To;try and rectify ,my childs situation. When I expressed concerns.. Regarding the Special Ed Kindergarten teacher. She was so biased. And had a rebuttal. For everything that my child forementioned. In regards to the staff. And made it seem as if. My child was fabricating. About the teacher and her negligence. And verbal abuse. As ;well as failed physical, abuse towards my child. My child is being bullied. By 3 male children. 2 in her class. And 1 in, her sisters class. My d;is having, to fight back. As a means to defend herself daily. Thats really pathetic. Due to the fact that: Im sending my child to school. To get an education. In a positive atmosphere. Yet thats not the case. The sorry teacher and principal. Has chosen to overlook my concerns. And my childs, cries for help. These individuals are very unprofessional. And has deemed it necessary. To make my child suffer. Due to their, contempt for me. If I could, give zero stars. Then trust me I would. I reached out to Supervisor. Whose over the principal. But she has chosen. To ignore my messages. And instead sending my complaints. To Dr. Koba shaking my head. I was going to continue. To keep my child, in the school. Although its increasingly clear. That I made a mistake. And ignored my better judgement.

I could not be more proud of our Sunburst staff. The past week they have chosen to stand up for our children. Love this district will not take my kids anywhere else.

If I could give a zero I would, My kids attend ALTS and I had a complaint about how the principal is lashing out at parents when we have questions, I contacted his boss and they never cared to respond. I did mention in my message that I speak spanish first and sometimes dont understand english but I am learning and I got a message saying from the superintendent that he was passing the problem to lynn bailey but she never cared to write back or anything. Nobody asked me about problem or cared enough to talk to me ,they dont care about parents and I am a very active parent and trying to do everything write but they didnt think my complaint was worth responding too. I would never reccomend this school or this district. I am having my kids go to Peoria District

Good work environment with a focus on childrens success.

One of the few remaining scholastic institutions in the Phoenix/Glendale area with people that really care about the kids and teachers that work in the District. As tough as things are for the department of education in Arizona, this District does everything it can to support its staff and the community.

The children deserve the highest education

If I could rate this school district it would be a NO STAR! Justin is a worthless employee that does NOTHING and makes sure you leave feeling less of a human being. That whole office has no communication!! Please, please please...do not enroll your children into this district and do not apply for a job here!!!
