She is also very meticulous to make sure that you understand everything you need to know for the driving test, even the smallest details. I was quite nervous before I had my first class because I had very little experience driving. My instructor, Joe, was a great teacher from the get go! He was always calm, nice, and funny. With my first class, I was already feeling prepared in what he was teaching me and was amazed at how good he was at explaining the process of driving. Oh my goodness!! I am so glad that I chose Joe’s Driving School to meet the 6 hour requirements for the behind the wheel test. I took my test today and passed thanks to the amazing Paola! She was very good at explaining and helped me improve SO much before going to the DMV. The three sessions I took over the course of a few months and driving on my own of course really helped me prepare and ace the test. Joe went above and beyond to reschedule appointments when I needed last-minute assistance to help my daughter get in her final lesson before her DMV test. He could’ve easily turned us away and said he was too busy but he didn’t and made calls to see if kids were willing to switch. I am super grateful and thankful that we chose Joe’s. We have already referred my daughters friends to this driving school and they too have had great experiences. My daughter passed her driving test today after failing previously. She tends to get nervous during tests. We had to postpone a year since her permit expired and due to COVID ,could not get a new one until a few months ago. Then I got lessons for her at Joes driving school with her instructor Paola to get her back. The last driving instructor did not teach her all she needed to know. It was the best decision. Paola not only showed my daughter everything she needed to do to pass the test and learn to drive well, she also talked to her to calm my daughters nerves and got her through her anxiety about driving. I started going to Joe’s last year in August and to be honest when I started off I was not the best driver and had many issues with all aspects. Thanks to Paula I was able to go from a horrible driver to a pretty good driver if I say so myself. I just passed my drivers test this week and I can’t attribute that win to anyone but Paula. OH MY GOSH this driving school is really good. I had the best teacher (Paula Alvarez) and she was very helpful, kind, and really chill. Usually one would feel nervous driving for the first time, but she made me feel comfortable. She gave wonderful advice (I mean like the basics of driving and lots of other tips) and she made sure everything was clear and understandable. She talked me through things and made sure I got the rules down, because as a beginner I made some mistakes. But she corrected me and eventually I got the hang of things because of her. And plus that was my first time :) 10/10 would recommend this school (Paula is a good teacher).
