I went to Sandberg when it used to be a junior high school in the 80s.. I miss the teachers & memories there. Go! Sandberg Lions! 281 rocks! Its the best and always will be. 😀👍❤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This school has been very transparent!They love there students & my child comes home safely every day!

Although the school is currently closed, it will re-open fall of 2017. It was first opened in 1959 and named after Carl Sandburg, and MPR published a very interesting article about this school when it first closed in 2009 with photos and interesting information. If the article is googled, there is a short 4 minute radio clip that talks a little about the history, and has clips of Carl himself speaking. Carls recorded jokes made me laugh. Also, the schools future principal is excellent. I am pleased that the school district is investing back into this historical resource.

If your looking for a school that ignores your cries for help or doesnt treat every child fair, this is the perfect school for your child. If you want your kids out of school more than theyre in school this is the school for your child. However it is a school full of talented hall runners
