We are delighted to have found A. Kopp Music to teach our daughter piano. Their instructors are so personable, positive, and knowledgeable. She loves working with Andy, in particular, who is a terrific piano instructor and and an encouraging teacher. They have a great physical location, but A. Kopp did a wonderful job transitioning during COVID to fully-distance, live video-conferencing lessons. Our daughter didnt miss a beat in her lessons and progress. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been consistently taking lessons at A Kopp Music for the past 3 1/2 years and I cannot say enough great things about this amazing local small business! I am in awe of the amount of musical growth that I have witnessed in my child. You would never know that she could barely read music those 3 1/2 years ago! Her main instructor, Andy Kopp, is so enthusiastic, encouraging, and makes every lesson fun and engaging. Even during this time of COVID, when they have had to pivot to Zoom lessons, it is obvious that they have a passion for sharing their gift of music with their students and that they truly love what they do. They have really made this work with the fantastic personalized instruction that we have come to expect from them. It is apparent that they really care about their students, even in this time when we have to be physically apart.

We really enjoy the teachers and staff at Kopp. We continued lessons after the lockdown with thoughts that they may not be as good as in person lessons. So far it’s working out well. Both my kids are continuing to improve their skills and are continuing to enjoy playing and lesson times ! We have a 10 year old pianist and 6 year old violinist.I also took a handful of bass guitar lessons to help me sharpen my skills.

My daughter began flute lessons at A. Kopp Music 2 1/2 years ago after her previous flute teacher moved out of state. I love both the progress she has made as a musician and the confidence she has gained under Alicia’s instruction. She is motivated to continue learning and loves her Weekly lesson! We are currently taking online lessons and it is working well. Lessons begin on time and they have a “receptionist” that greets you in the virtual meeting room and then places you into your breakout room with your instructor. I’m an online teacher myself and I know that getting online is often the tricky part. A. Kopp has it figured out and makes it simple to do.

We LOVE A Kopp Music! The instructors are friendly and hold my kids accountable for practicing during the week. The owners are super flexible with scheduling and communicate well to make sure lessons flow smoothly. Thank you, A Kopp!

I love A Kopp Music! Alicia and Andy have been a part of our lives, our family for many years now. Our two children started with music lessons when first starting in band. Now, they are both in high school and continue to learn at A Kopp.One of my favorite things has been watching the growth, not just as student and teacher, but as musicians.

Andy and Alicia run a topnotch music school. I started Saxophone lesson online with Andy a few weeks ago and marvel at my advancement. I can actually play and recognise what I am playing. The zoom classes work great for me!!

I signed up, somewhat hesitantly, for virtual group fiddle lessons. I was nervous about doing this remotely and unsure how a group lesson could possibly work. However, several months into my lessons, I am in love with learning in a group setting virtually! I feel like we are a little fiddler community, and I look forward each week to gathering. Our instructor is talented but also a great teacher, and we walk away from each class having learned an entire song or reviewing in-depth a song previously learned. I cant recommend A Kopp group classes enough!

I highly recommend taking music lessons here! Even with the new virtual setting (due to Covid), I have learned so much from my guitar lessons.

In our opinion, the best way to do private lessons. Weve experienced Andrew Kopp for our budding oboist and Lucy Davis for our growing French Horn player, and the experience - pre-COVID and during COVID, has been really great. Both teachers are warm, great at both encouraging and challenging. Learning an instrument has been safe and fruitful for both of our children.The operation is top shelf. Really focused on helping students enjoy and improve their craft, and everything that supports it works efficiently toward that end.

Alicia and Andy were kind enough to help me host my own studios spring recital in their space. Rate was very reasonable and they did all the set up and tear down, providing chairs, coffee, and clean up. They were easy to work with and we all felt very comfortable performing there. Location was convenient for many of my students. Thank you!

Alicia and Andrew Kopp have an amazing private lesson business, that promotes all kinds of literacy. They are flexible when you need it, they(and thier staff) develop wonderful relationships with their students and meet the students where they are at while pushing them to the next level. If you are looking for private music lessons, this is the place to go.

I have had the opportunity to hold two large events at the Kopp’s music studio. The first event was a baby shower held as an open house and we had approximately 125 people in and out during the event. There was ample space for buffet/hors d’ourves and lots of room for our guests to mingle. We were surprised by a ‘gift of music’ when the younger family members, with the help of Alicia Andy Andrew Kopp, performed a short concert.The space is well maintained, clean and artfully designed. We plan to have our larger events at the studio.I’ve met some of the teachers and plan to utilize the studio for lessons when my kids are older.
