Great spot to watch the surfers, but there is a lot of tar that will stick to your feet. Interesting trails along the slough with lots of information about the wildlife. There is also part of the beach that is sectioned off to preserve the Snowy Plover habitat.

This historic place is one of the best places around Isla Vista, in the middle of the nature is relaxing to walk on the beach below the cliff. Perfect for its romantic and amazing sunsets.

I went at night just to feel the wind and hear the waves sing. The air was crisp and it was so soothing to just be there and experience the sounds and the feel. Definitely worth a night walk

Viewing nature from a loop trail. Dogs are not allowed so you stand s better chance to see a bobcat or coyote.

Went here for the hike. Its a nice easy loop with forest beach flowers and ponds.
