I come to Passion for beauty for my haircut. Lucy is super nice and very professional, Everytime she cuts my hair, I always get what I asked for, no surprises. The beauty shop is always so neat and clean, the bathroom is sparkling. I love this beauty shop so much, that I drive 65 miles just to get my hair done by Lucy. I am currently a student at passion for beauty academy. In addition, to being one of her first cosmetology students to enroll in her academy.I truly love the learning experience I have received from my instructor. She is a very passionate individual as the name of school implies “ passion for beauty .”Ms. Lucy has all the experience and qualifications in her field of study. In addition, to school curriculum she teaches on the importance of future cosmetologist/esthetician reaching there full potential on becoming successful in the beauty industry. Therefore, I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to learn from her and to be a student at passion for beauty academy!

Dont trust these reviews, they are written by her students. Lucy is totally rude and has no experience in doing hair. I have no idea on how she became a teacher. Even though I had an appointment for a root touch up, I waited for an hour to get my hair done and I left 4 hours later. It took Lucy 4 hours just for a root touch up. I told Lucy that I wanted a brown color to match the rest of my hair, she colored my hair RED and charged my $65.00 instead of $25.00. She said it took a long time to work on my hair and that it was done by a student. It was not done by a student, Lucy was the one who was coloring it. All beauty schools have the same prices, except this one. Lucy charges how much she wants. She makes up her own prices just to get more money out of you. I definitely wont be back.

I would recommend this place Lucy is really great she took me in right away and made sure I was comfortable. First of all, this place is not clean. Its very dirty and disgusting. They have hair all over the salon and bleach on the chairs. Lucy is very unprofessional and rude. I called 5 times to ask on the price of acrelic nails she said make an appointment for friday. Came in on a Friday and she said I forgot you have an appointment and I had to reschedule. Came in next week and she raised the price, instead of $25.00 she said it will be $45.00. I asked why she raised the price and she slammed the door in my face and yelled at her student. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews. I felt like I was being discriminated and disrespected by Lucy. I came in and asked if I could get a hair cut and the first question that she asked was do you speak Spanish and I said no. Then she said you have to make an appointment, we dont do walk-ins. She was not busy, no clients were there. I said okay how much is a haircut and she said look at the board. Is this how you treat all your clients???

Took myself and husband for a haircut a while back and keep coming. Really pleased with service and results.

Ms. Lucy is a good teacher, she teaches us very well, she has patience for us when we dont understand something at that moment, she always tries to explain things to us in the best way. He has painted my hair and I loved it. She always tries to maintain the best communication with her students and is always on the lookout that no one falls behind on any topic.
