I have attended SJV since Father Joe, and my daughter was 1 of the first students to attend the school.I love the friendly feeling when you arrival and walk in. I will be getting married in 1/2021, and I am so excited.Love SJVKatrina

I love this church. It every person treats Waco the like brothers and sisters. They also have youth groups which allows kids to have fun.

LOVE this church! I drive approximately 30 to 40 minutes just to be there every Saturday evening or Sunday for Mass. Ive never felt more at home at any other Church! All the priests are so friendly and the staff is so welcoming, I definitely recommend it!

Today I had a terrible experience with priest, I explain. I take my children to their religious classes on Saturdays, I drive approximately 30 minutes there and another 30 minutes back to my house. I chose that Church based on recommendations from people I know. One Saturday I met a lady who takes her granddaughters and waits with her 2 grandchildren, she takes care of them, I was touched by her story and I have tried to help her in one way or another, this time I bought some gifts for the children And when we hid them in the trunk of the car, I saw that she was bringing food that she was going to take to sell with her family. I wanted to buy, thats why a car with a man driving stops, at the moment I did not know him, he saw us with a face of few friends, then I saw that he was the priest called Fr. Tom Eckert, that man who says inside The Church that you have to help the needy, got out of his car very annoyed, said that there could not be sold, I tried to explain to him that there was no intention to sell, but everything was despotic and with a superb repetition that there was no way sell and I incredulous of what was happening to him r He repeated that we were not selling, that the lady is a person in need and I help her as much as I can, he was still standing there waiting, I told him not to wait for us to leave, because we were waiting for the children to come out of their classes, we retired from the parking lot, he stayed there taking a photo of the poor ladys car, she said nothing, she only wanted to give me her food, which I said no, because she sells her food to get ahead To his 4 grandchildren (He does not sell in the Church) I really could not believe what was happening, that it was precisely the priest who demonstrated so much inhumanity. I started going to that mass almost every Sunday, I liked how the priest gave mass, but today he showed his worst face.

I have been coming to this parish for 8 years, my family and I are very happy to have such good and holy priests. Chapel of daily worship until 9 pm ❤️
