I attended Grace Christian University for 4 years, (2016-2020), in order to earn by Bachelors degree in Human Services. During this time I stayed on campus, and I dont regret it! The classes were insightful, and I was able to get a job in my field right out of college. The professors care about their students, and the staff are willing to invest in those they work with to make your experience the best it can be.As with any school, this college is not without its flaws - but overall, it is an affordable, excellent, small Christian college experience :)

Ohmygoodness, I have been at Grace Christian University (formerly known as Grace Bible College) for 4 years now and I love it! Coming from a pretty sheltered background, there is so much I have learned about the world, the church, people, my passions, and my worldview during my short time at Grace (and there is still so much more I have been learning!). Honestly, there have been quite a few challenges even here at Grace - afterall, this world will never be perfect until Christ returns (well, this is what I believe) :) I would recommend this fine, challenging, growing institution to anyone who is looking to further pursue their relationship with God, find their identity in general/with Christ, anyone looking for a small-sized campus, and anyone excited about traditions/community on campus. Again, there is so much that I have learned from and been challenged by even within the Grace community. Something that someone very wise once told me, If it doesnt challenge you, it wont change you (Brian Sherstad, 2017), has stuck with me ever since I have visited and it is something that continues to encourage my growth mindset even to this day. Haha all of this is to say, I definitely recommend Grace Christian University.

I left Grace after one year for multiple reasons. The campus is so small, they offer virtually no degrees, and the people in the sports program (staff, coaches, athletes, etc) were not good influences who would uplift me and push me toward Christ. The coaches preach about how we should honor God and have a family community, but the teams had so much drama it felt like immature high school all over again. Teams go out to hookah lounges with each other and party in the weekends. Guys in this program had no problem asking girls at this school to casually hook up with them. At some point, you just get fed up with the different faces everyone is putting on here. There was favoritism in the sports program, decisions were made based on what was best for the schools budget and what would bring on the most money rather than what was best for the students. This is only scratching the surface of the problems in this school.

Grace Christian University is a place I feel like I belong. Everyone has always been so loving and welcoming and I knew here I could grow more in my faith and have a place that I fit in. I have spend the last three and a half years here living on campus and I can say that I would recommend Grace because this school can help people no matter what part of life youre on and it is a place of belonging. Through my time here, Ive been able to plug in more and move out of my comfort zone. The staff and faculty have always been loving and helping in many different circumstances and I can tell that they really care about each and every student. I cannot picture myself at a better school than Grace.

Grace Christian University equips students to succeed with relevant and Christ centered education. I have taken courses and received training in Christian Theism, leadership, communication, cultural intelligence, and ministry based coaching. The classes are challenging yet fulfilling. Convenient I have completed many courses from the comfort of my own home. I made the Deans list. This college is Bible based and Christ centered. I receive my degree in organizational leadership and ministry in April 2020. Thanks Grace Christian University,

Grace has made the transition back into school seamless. The instructors are very empowering, while the student interactions provide great opportunities that challenge you go grow as a human and in your faith. I have and will continue to recommend more people to this institution. It is such a transformational experience, I cannot wait to see who I become when I complete this journey.

Grace’s community is one of the best things I like about this University. As someone who is taking their course online, I have never felt that I was too far away and Grace has made sure to keep in touch with me every week. The students are eager to learn and are hungry for God’s word, which makes my walk as a believer that much easier, as I am able to have fellowship with classmates during the completion of assignments. I am more than happy that I chose Grace to complete my education.

Grace is an incredibly unique school to obtain your degree in Human Services and Bible. I had the opportunity to attend while it was still known as Grace Bible College and have seen it grow so much. The staff and faculty only want you to succeed in your classes and help prepare you to serve wherever God may lead you. I highly recommend Grace to students who had never had the opportunity to attend a Christian school or to students who have a strong desire to learn and grow in their Christian walk.

Attending Grace has equipped me for advancing the Gospel of Christ Jesus. I have a deep and burning passion that started when I came to Grace. I was hungry for the truth, and I found it here because Grace submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Grace has prepared me for my future. They have equipped me for my future career and here and now as a believer in Christ. Graces community is one of acceptance and equipping. If there is something we disagree about, it is done in truth and in love. The faculty and staff at Grace are prayerful. They seek to truly get to the heart of the person so transformational change can happen from the inside out. What makes Grace unique is the unified mind, heart, and soul to be the salt and light of Christ in tangible ways both here and in our communities. I have been here for almost three years in the online course and have truly LOVED every minute of it. If youre looking for a holistic college, Grace Bible College is for you!!

I began my journey with Grace Bible College over 2 years ago, and have been amazed at the support I have received from this institution. Grace is a place where people come alongside not to just help you earn a degree, but to help you better your life. Their constant prayer and encouragement has helped me to grow my faith and achieve success in the area God has directed me. As the transition to Grace Christian University has taken place, they have stayed true to their values and level of commitment to the students. I am excited to still be attending, now as a graduate student. and am thankful to learn from amazing instructors. There are not many places like Grace Christian University, and I am blessed to be a part of this place.

Grace for me has been my literal saving grace. Grace has provided me with multiple opportunities to help me grow myself as well as trusting me to use my creative skills to better grow the college. The one thing that stands out about Grace are the people. The people here are so kind, loving, supportive, and encouraging. I have never encountered such a supportive group of people in a work place or a school setting. I cant wait to see what God has in store for the future of Grace. Its been a joy to be a part of such a growing institution where the Lords presence is very evident.

Ive been a student at Grace for three years now, first at Grace Bible College and now Grace Christian University. All three years have been a great time. The staff is warm and open, and the close-knit community makes for some lifelong friends. Im from the deep south, so the fact that I tough out the cold winters to go here has to say something about my experiences. Grace is all about what you make it. If you go in with a bad attitude, that will stick with you the whole time you are here. However, if you go in looking to grow, youll have a blast. Ive changed a lot here, and I feel like Grace has been right there alongside me as Ive made the transition into adulthood. I owe Grace a lot for the role it has played in my life, and I encourage anyone reading this to check it out.

I entered Grace C. U. when it was still Grace Bible College in the late fall of 2016. The longer I studied here, the more I became acquainted with its history! As a senior citizen, I never planned to go back to college after earning my Associates Degree in the Nursing Sciences. But here I was, walking into the building by the leading of the Lord...that is, the class building! No matter! They called for Darlene Ruhl who was situated in the correct building. Darlene was so gracious and humble, as well as the confused staff at the window! I knew then that this would be a place that I would be welcomed and cared for.All of my professors and office staff have exemplified the compassion, grace, and love of Christ toward their students. My own experience of growing in Christ through the Biblical and Theological courses have cemented into my faith walk in a powerful way. They were not simply courses I had to take, they were my salvation as it were, in helping me understand the truths in Gods word concerning man, sin, and salvation through Jesus Christ. What an awakening! If I had not experienced for myself the willingness of staff and professors to guide me with patience and understanding, I would have questioned their sincerity. There is not one professor, staff member, or any other ancillary help of which I ever doubted their sincerity to really help me succeed! I would like to add here that my pride kept me from seeking tutoring help with my writing. When I finally availed myself of the help, even the tutors were wonderful, they really encouraged and helped me through some tough papers!I know this is somewhat long, but I think for others considering Grace C. U., they need to understand accountability. All of the younger generations have come to expect certain things that real life simply cannot guarantee. I pray for these ones, that they will know and understand that the same accountability that is expected of our Lord carries on down throughout their lives here in this world, including their collegiate lives at Grace C.U.Thank you Grace!

If I could give a 0 i would. This school takes way too much of your money on which i am responsible for paying it back. There are way too many fees. I shouldve stuck it out with liberty university which i will be attending again. They send you all of your funds. Grace Bible College takes all your fund, its not right. Both my sister and I dropped out really quick after discovering how much money they were taking from us . Who charges you $150 fees everytime you log onto their system? Its absolutely ridiculous . Please be mindful of the schools you apply for. I knew it was too good to be true when it was too easy to get in.

Hello, my name is Emily Acosta, and I just started my online journey at Grace Bible College to obtain my Bachelors of Science Degree in Leadership and Ministry. I currently live in the Lower Hudson Valley, just outside of Goshen NY. I am 45 yrs old, happily married with 3 grown sons, ages 24, and 19 yr old twins. I presently have been working in Law Enforcement for almost 20 yrs in New York City, which is an hour and a half commute every morning with my husband. Seeing that I wake up at 3 a.m. daily; I like to use this time to pray, and mentally and spiritually prepare myself for the challenging day ahead where I serve the public in the Washington Heights Community. After spending over a year praying for my future goals, and education. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that I should continue to minister to others on another level so to speak! Being a Christian almost half of my life, I have always prayed, praised, and worshipped Jesus at church. However I now also share the Good News of God Word on a more expanded public level too. I currently administer two pages on Facebook, where I write bible based Daily Devotionals. I have been told by my peers, and subscribers on my page that they look forward to reading my morning devotionals, and that I have even inspired them to reflect on their own lives, and their walk with God. To God be the Glory is all I can say! At first, I was surprised by this, because I never imagined that I would have such a positive impact on anyone other than my children and family. I know now that I have been blessed with Gods Grace, and ability to speak in truth and in deeds; spreading Gods Word to others all over the world. So my initial, and only search for Online bible colleges lead me to Grace Bible College. Grace means Free, and unmerited favor from God. I knew it was my confirmation!I have successfully completed my first 5 week class. From the very start, I was introduced to my Academic Advisor Yolanda Mendez. She is Absolutely an Amazing person and Advisor. Her professionalism and excellence in communications have really helped me transition easily into my new college experience. Even with her busy work schedule, she finds the time to reach out to me to see how I am doing in my class. She is always kind, supportive and encouraging. I think she probably believes in me even more than I do at times! There is also a wonderful strong support based team of Instructors, and assistant teachers that are available to help you navigate all of the schools websites, and systems such as Blackboard. Even though I have a full-time job that is stressful, along with other responsibilities that keep me busy on the weekends; I am really enjoying my class, the assignments, and discussions with my classmates. I especially like the fact that Grace offers me all the tools and support that I need to become a proficient, and successful student. I truly look forward to my continued positive experience and fulfilling my goal of graduating with honors here at Grace Bible College.

Being from the GR area, I wanted my daughter to attend Grace Bible College and looked forward to her playing basketball here....but that has changed!! 1. With the changing of the name from Grace Bible College which is no more (Interesting how in the YouTube vid, they kept calling it Grace Bible College....not Christian University....they are unsure who they really are. The University name will attract more people to in turn attract the almighty $$$.) and 2. The unfair, unprofessional and unchristian treatment of Coach R. by Grace Christian Univ. leaders. We will not be supporting this school. Just a couple of examples selling out to the worlds beliefs instead of basic biblical, Christ-like values & principles not being the center of Life.... and in turn, Disappointed.----------------------Regarding the above post, Grace C.U. wants you reading their reply/response below to believe that the Change in Womens Basketball Coach is because Coach R. was an issue; actually, quite the opposite. R.R. was the most caring, compassionate and humble individual who cared deeply for his players and athletics. G.C.U. leaders saw him caring more about values than the leaders initiatives going after the big money. Again, they are showing their true colors.

I had a really bad experience at this school. The Financial Aid Department was very difficult to deal with and I absolutely believe they intentionally mismanage funds. The cost of their program is outrageous and you really do not get much for what you are paying. Sub-par professors and disorganized, unstructured courses. Such a waste of time and money. There are too many options out there to deal with this school. Please take the time to do your research about all schools available to you before you give these crooks your money.

Sadly I couldnt even finish my semester at GBC due to a terrible fall and ungodly hospital bills. This is where we saw the true Christian heart of the staff. Even after 2 brutal concussions, classes were expected even though bed rest in darkness and silence were doctors orders. The only person to hear my cry was the Dean, and she could do nothing. The staff believe this was a test from God and Id heard countless times, Anxiety doesnt exist, because its not of God. Or, pray harder and it would change. This was the last straw. I even stayed after more than one professor babbled about, all gays go to hell and, God must be punishing you. Ill let you all know how life is after my $5,000+ loan Ispaid off from half a semester (that they messed up) and my permanent brain damage that I acquired there, Is at least controllable. Thank you GBC, for showing us what real Christians are.

I am finishing up my last few classes before I graduate the bachelors program. I have been with Grace since 2011. I have never had so many issues with a college program when it comes to fees and financial aid. Apparently I was not fully changed for my classes, some where left out. Then I had to pay out of pocket or get an unsubsidized loan, which gained interest because of the mistake. Also, the company they rent their books from is also very difficult. They were late sending me a few of my books for a few different classes and charged me a fee for their mistake, which GBC allowed them to do. When it comes to the class instructors, none of them are on the same page. None of the instructors graded the same, even though they were to follow the same rubric/guidelines. When I went to my advisor and the director of advisors, there was nothing that was done in order to fix the issue. Their word were exactly: Some are harder then others but look at it as a challenge. This is your eduction take away what you can from it.. Let us keep in mind, the class I had an issue with was a lower 300 level class. My 400 level classes were no where as difficult as this one 300 level class. I also was taking duel classes, where I took more than one class at a given time. Still none where as difficult as this. I did reach out the the instructor and received no reply. Seems to me as the school and advisors do not have the students back when it comes to things like this. Why pay to go to a college like this when you receive this sort of feedback from advisors. I had many other colleges in mind, looking back I wish I chose differently.
