My toddler has been taking riding lessons for 3 months now. Our experience has been wonderful through and through. Lessons are with Kat, and she is amazing at what she does. She is very patient, light-hearted, and flexible in her approach; never pushy. She ensures that my child is safe by following many precautions and keeping horses near to her. She takes the time to explain everything she is doing, from putting the saddle on the horse, to grooming, and riding.Additionally, we have always felt very welcome on the property and felt that Preston was very fair in pricing. We often stay after lessons just to visit and spend time with the people and animals at the ranch.
My daughter has been riding there twice a week for 8 months now. Cant say enough good things. Preston and his team are so kind. Great teachers and clearly love their horses.
I love this place! You may come and go as you please, have indoor and outdoor areas to romp around plus a trail around the property. I am sorry that when ownership changed last year some people had to take sides. I guess that is life, but Im so glad I stayed and cannot wait for another warm season to come! Preston has answered any and all my questions or concerns and in regards to horse riding lessons pushes me just enough to keep me improving!
Staff is really friendly, gives Western and English lessons, ample parking. Nice facility with a long driveway...cannot be seen from the road. Look for a green mailbox with their address.
I think if you are going to post bad claims about someone you should be willing to post your name. The truth is not always what you think it is and I can assure you Preston is doing a wonderful job getting his business back up and running and handling the mess that was left behind. It is a beautiful place and we welcome anyone to come and see for themselves!!
Not happy will never go again preston had just left and then we got a text from him saying he was broke down by Chicago since 4:30 am and had to cancel poor business.just got a text from preston saying he was sorry and would like to reschedule are lessons thanks for the apologies but we will not be returning.
Great when Amber was there, terrible now. Half the horses left within one week, which should tell you all you need to know. Preston lied to us about the kind of hay he was feeding (they dont always feed alfalfa). Stalls arent cleaned well. Always seems like hes desperate to make $$$ from anything, which is a major red flag. Amber is an exceptional business owner and she will be missed. Sad to see a great place fall under. Dont trust them and spare yourself the embarrassment of being associated with this business and the people who run it now.
Preston is UNRELIABLE and DISHONEST. Hay is inconsistent and always low, water buckets are rarely filled. Used to be an awesome barn when Amber was there, but its a mess now. Do yourself a favor and get away from the drama while you can and take your horses elsewhere. He doesnt even take care of the dogs and cats, dont trust him with your horses. Id come back in a heartbeat if Amber was in charge again.
Great facility with an excellent feed program and wonderful arenas. There is a beautiful outdoor arena and an Indoor arena.
