Great Public high school established in the early 1970s. Two types of students. Ones that have lost their way and need guidance and teachers as friends, and highly motivated on the go with apprenticeships, community college classes and alternative classes based on discussions.Made me who I am today. A teacher and CEO. Everyone that goes has found a reason that Great Neck North and South arent a good fit for them. Think land of the misfits, but here they all fit. I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wasnt for that school teaching me leadership skills. Thank you and may this option last forever and be used as a model.

This school is beyond anything you can imagine for a child who needs special help. No words can explain what they do or how they do it, but there is something amazing about the place.
