Parking lots not clearly marked. Was unable to make testing time because of construction. Phone lines are fully automated so you cant talk to a real person for help.

Went for a covid 19 test. A Rather uncomfortable test, but its over in less than a minute. My hat is off to the folks doing the testing...Professional, thorough, and friendly! From the gentlemen at the gate entrance to the testers, everyone was very nice. I pretended I was being tested for the Mars space shot!

I loved this college, compared to a university I saved a TON of money, and I have had nothing but amazing experiences with staff and faculty. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure that I was taking the correct classes for what I wanted to do and that all my credits would transfer. The professors are dedicated to helping the students that want to be helped, just like any school there are the students who dont care and dont put in the effort. It is your money so you are responsible for showing up and doing the work, but as long as you do your professors will be there to help. The campus is also pretty and well maintained.

Good little community college. Attended myself and currently have a daughter there. Financial aid was easy to apply for and they explain everything fairly well. Class sizes were ok and instructors were laid back. Maybe a little too much! Lots of parking and a well laid out campus with constant police presence.

This school deserves a zero star review. The professors of the communications dept. actually would hit me on the back of the head when I attended the class. I went to security about it and they did nothing to protect me. They did not fire the teachers which made it hard for me to feel safe in the school environment. They also have no regard for their neighbors. For example, they had a huge celebration for the tenth year anniversary of the school and shot off fireworks. A neighbor of the school who I happen to know opened their front door to see what was going on and his dog accidentally escaped from the house and ran to all the commotion. Sadly, the dog ran into the street and was hit and killed. The school never let any of their neighbors know that they were going to shoot off fireworks. This school should be shut down and the teachers should be in jail for what they did to me.

I cant say enough good things about Aims. I am a non traditional student, I am 34 years old, have a child and have to work at the same time I go to school. I received scholarships through Aims to pay for my classes, I had people there to help me whenever I needed. Every email I sent was returned quickly whether it was to financial aid, admissions, my advisor, they are waiting to assist when you need it. The campus feels like home. Everyone is so pleasant and if you ever run in to an issue there is always someone there to help resolve it. This school is the reason I continued going to college, they made it easy to WANT to be there. I love all of them.

Such a wonderful place to learn! I have made so many awesome connections with my professors and people involved in this school. Plus they are very big on helping transfer to the 4 years schools here in Colorado. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Community College to at least come and check it out!

I have a bachelors from a 4 year school and wanted to get some technology related coursework. From the first e-mail I sent, I’ve been impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of staff and professors at AIMS! The CIS department is amazing! I’ve had 4 professors, and all 4 have demonstrated an interest in their students’ success that i didn’t know was possible! I’ve learned more in 4 classes than I did from achieving a double-major at a 4 year school. If you’re interested in starting a career in development or IT, start at AIMS!

My experience with Aims was always a good experience. The education is the equal or better than the subsequent university in Greeley. The labs are in fact better, with greater technologies and more learning time. I have been going to Aims since I was in high school. They really strive to help the students.

Veteran Warning- Do not attend this school unless you are coming here for a quick certification. This school does not honor the JST(Military transcript). They are a district community school that only cares about the money they get from students. Ensure you go to a Colorado Community College System school. PPCC in Colorado Springs gave me 27 credits towards the degree I was enrolled for. When I transferred here to AIMS they gave me nothing and gave me PC answer after PC answer. This school wants is forcing me to waste my GI Bill on 1 class this semester coming up to qualify for my program. This school does not support nor respect the men and women in uniform. Until they change this about this school I hope all veterans steer clear and unenroll from this school.

A college that I wouldnt recommend to anyone. They have a decent history teacher or used to when I went there but every other class I took was awful. Worst math and science teachers imaginable. The biology teacher I had my first time trying to pass the course had never taught a college class before in his life... my advanced math teacher literally had autism. It might be cheap but you get what you pay for here and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone unless they want to leave after 4 semesters dumber than when they began.

I started at Aims in 1988 when they were starting the ab initio flight program with Eastern Airlines and was in the 2nd graduating class. I had such a great experience there with wonderful instructors, both flight and academic. I also co-founded the flight team. Its been a long time since I graduated in 1989, but have nothing but fond memories. I just wish there were the opportunity for flight jobs then like there are today. It took a long time, but I stayed with it and Im now a Captain on a B747-800.

While a Google review of a college feels borderline unprofessional, I feel the need to share the experiences of myself and my family members that have attended. My mother attended this school a decade ago, and had nothing but good things to say about it. The staff inspired her, after all, and they were professionals that respected her desire to better herself. In addition, she dealt with instructors that not only treated her very well, they became friends, and remain so to this day. In other words, theres been a lot of good things. Whats not to like?My experience has been vastly different. I can corroborate the fact that there are great teachers that have helped to motivate me. That said, the Financial Aid department is so terrible that the motivation they provided was barely enough to overcome this single broken department. How is it broken? Well, theyre impossible to contact, tough to deal with, and feel very uncoordinated. My average experience is exemplified with my most recent hurdle. I saw, one day, that my federal financial aid had been altered, so I called my financial aid case worker. It was Thursday evening, and I got his voicemail, so I left a message. I had not received a call a week later, so I called back. Same thing happened again. And again after that. When I was able to talk to them, I got variations on I dont know, and Talk to someone else. I dont blame the people working there, I blame the management and the infrastructure, because this sort of behavior is so consistent that it seems to be the doctrine.I really want to like this school, because the teachers here are great, and many people working, especially at the Loveland campus, are wonderful, but I feel like the school itself almost doesnt want my money at times, which is not reassuring when dealing with such an expensive life choice, even at the lower community college prices. My advice is that, if you want to attend community college in the Northern Colorado area, this is probably your best bet, especially the Loveland area. That said, its worth shopping around.

Have taken 24 credits here. Not very impressed. The whole institution seems highly unorganized. Both semesters they have dropped a class from my schedule due to lack of students enrolled in the class. However, they wait until less than a week before classes start to drop you--leaving you with very little time to add another class to retain full-time classification for financial aid. The only notification I received was a single email 4 days before classes start (with two of these days being a weekend with the advising center closed). Staff doesnt have an answer as to why they cant figure this out weeks in advance, just a half-assed apology. Disappointing.
